Johto Starters, Concussion, and Crush Claw are all sick. Move votes were very tight this slate, as I'm sure the results will show. Also, I know there's a general hatred for Shedinja, but please give my buffs fair consideration. Nothing I'm giving it is particularly insane, and it'd be nice to see it used on anything other than stall, which will only happen if it has actual utility tools.

:sm/Silvally:
Name: All Silvally Forms
Abilities: RKS System
New Moves: Recover, Calm Mind, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Focus Blast, Moonblast, Meteor Mash, Earthpower
Justification: Huge buff to the silvally movepool just to expand their versatility and movepools, to the point where they can actually be a threat to some teams.

Abilities
Name: Arena Trap
Effect: While this Pokémon is active, hazards and terrains cannot be removed from the field.
Permanent (Yes or No):
Mold Breaker (Yes or No):
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Old Distribution + :torterra: :Flygon: :vibrava: :donphan:
Justification: A new tool for the dying hazard stack playstyle and a rework to a busted ability.

Items
Name: Type Boosting Items
Effect: Boosts respective types' power by 1.3
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: No
Fling Power & Effect: Wtv their original effects are
Justification: A very simple buff but more Pokémon will use them as the boost now actually rivals that of life orb, at the cost of only affecting a singular type though. Very useful for Pokémon that spam one move like victini (v-create), and eleki (electric moves), however can be useful on any Pokémon to get a free juicy boost to one of their stabs.

Hey, you probably just posted this on accident or thought this was your sandbox since I know you know your way around Pet Mods, but still must say that we are in the voting phase right now and thus submissions are closed, so you probably delete this and save it for when slate 5 opens

In other news, voting ends in about 1 hour and 17 minutes, so get your votes in!

Name: Enchanted Punch
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 [Max 16]
Category:

Type:

Effect: This attack targets the opponent's Special Defense stat instead of Defense
Priority: 0
Flags: Punch, Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :tapu-bulu::tapu-koko::clefable::wigglytuff::hatterene::mr-mime::grimmsnarl::golurk::ledian::infernape::trevenant:
Justification: We literally have one non-signature fairy physical attack in the game. Enchanted Punch intends to add some variety to the physical fairy move selection, both in its effects and flags. Bulu also finally has a physical fairy STAB lmao.
:light-Ball:
Name: Electro Ball
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 (16 Max)
Category:

Type:

Effect: Uses user's Speed stat as special in damage calculation.
Priority: 0
Flags: Bullet
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Same distribution + :Zebstrika: (remove from :regieleki: if it seems to broken)
Justification: Electro Ball's current formula is flawed as it 98% of the time it does really bad damage even when used by a fast user so by making the formula only based on the user's speed it can now deal more consistent damage. Pokemon that really appreciate this are pokemon like :zeraora:, :tapu koko:, and :cinderace: who can use their high speed stats to make up for their only ok special attack (in the case of koko and zera not cinderace his special shit is garbage lol). Cinderace's especially love this change to hit the bulky water types that love to counter them. I'm looking at you toxapex!
Name: Elemental Punches
Power: 85
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15 [Max 24]
Category:

Type: Varies
Effect: Same as In Standard
Priority: 0
Flags: Punch, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Same As In Standard
Justification: Simple and yet effective buff to the elemental punches, putting out of the range of bad move options to servicable coverage.
Name: Sky Uppercut
Power: 70
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15
Category: Physical
Type: Fighting
Effect: Hits Flying-type Pokémon super-effectively. Hits targets using Fly, Bounce, and Sky Drop.
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Mirror, Protect, Punch
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Current distribution + :primeape: :infernape: :toxicroak: :conkeldurr: :hawlucha: :crabominable: :buzzwole:
Justification: Sky Uppercut sucks, and now it sucks less, especially with Iron Fist. Hitting Corviknight and Mandibuzz for quadruple damage is very pog.
Name: Morning Blossom
Effect: If held by a Cherrim, the holder summons Desolate Land on switch-in and its Grass-type moves deal 1.2x damage
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): No (Cherrim only)
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No (Cherrim only)
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: Cherrim's biggest problem is that it's hard to justify using on a singles Sun team because it doesn't get doubled Speed, making it always worse than Venusaur, and that's without considering its poor coverage on both sides. However, with the insane addition of an instant Desolate Land to activate Flower Gift, Cherrim now has a reason to exist. Flower Gift in Desolate Land gives Cherrim an effective Choice Band and Assault Vest with no drawbacks at all times. Cherrim only has 60 Attack, but unboosted that still gives Cherrim 329 Attack (the same as same with a neutral nature and 115 Attack), beefy Special Defense, a boosting option in Swords Dance 66% recovery with Morning Sun, and a super spammable STAB move in Solar Blade. Cherrim is still held back by meh Speed, a poor typing, and non-existent coverage unless you go mixed, but this a start
Name: Cell Battery / Absorb Bulb / Snowball / Luminous Moss
Effect (Cell Battery): If the holder is hit by an Electric-type damaging move, its Attack, Speed, and accuracy stats rise by one stage, and the item is consumed.
Effect (Absorb Bulb): If the holder is hit by a Water-type damaging move, its Defense, Sp. Attack, and Sp. Defense stats rise by one stage, and the item is consumed.
Effect (Snowball): If the holder is hit by an Ice-type damaging move, its Attack and Defense stats rise by two stages, and the item is consumed.
Effect (Luminous Moss): If the holder is hit by a Grass-type damaging move, its Sp. Attack and Sp. Defense stats rise by two stages, and the item is consumed.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30, none
Justification: Weakness Policy proves that "item that gives stat boosts when hit by a certain move type" CAN work, so here's an attempt at making these garbage items less garbage. Unlike WP, you don't need to eat a super-effective hit, but that also means you have a more specific trigger you need to activate.
Name: Coal Engine
Effect: If Stealth Rock is on the field, damage is ignored, and the user's highest stat is raised by 1. The item is then consumed.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 60 BP
Justification: The power to one time ignore Stealth Rock and instead gain a boost from it is a very potent option for hazard weak set up sweeper, particularly flying types.
Name: Merciless
Effect: This Pokemon's attacks are critical hits if the target is inflicted by status.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability:
:Chandelure: :spiritomb: :skuntank: :salazzle: :trevenant: :drapion: (:Gengar:? Not sure if too powerful here)

Merciless is an interesting concept but is slightly limited in scope. Stretching its realm of possibility to the opposing status options that exist further develops and diversifies how potent this latent ability can be. Maybe Muk-Alola can receive this option to diversify it from being a weird amalgamation of base Muk and Goltres, as I have heard not everyone is pleased with Regenerator Muk-A (and give it back Knock Off please).
Name: Neuroforce
Effect: This Pokémon's super effective moves deal 1.25x damage
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability::necrozma::azelf::stantler::metagross::nihilego::typhlosion::rhyperior::rapidash-galar:
Justification: Maybe don't give this to Mega Lucario like I tried to last time, but Neuroforce is honestly too cool (and too basic) of an ability to be locked to Ultra Necrozma, so a lot of offensive mons with nothing better would appreciate it, and rewarding good play is nice.
Name: Pastel Veil (already exists)
Effect: "This Pokémon and its allies cannot be poisoned. On switch-in, cures poisoned allies. While this Pokémon is on the field, Poison-type moves against it and its allies deal damage with a halved attacking stat.
Permanent:
No.
Mold Breaker: Yes.
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :bruxish:, :florges:, :rapidash-galar:, :roserade:, :sylveon:, :zarude:

Justification: Despite being a suped-up version of Immunity, Pastel Veil is still rather underwhelming, especially in Singles, so I figured extending the logic of this ability further to at least reduce direct Poison-type damage--a la Thick Fat--makes sense even if both Corrosion and Mold Breaker still bypass it as they should. Not that Poison needs to be nerfed even further as an attacking type--if anything, I still think Water should be weak to it--or that Fairy types need to be buffed even further, but it makes more sense than this reducing the damage of any other type unfortunately; that's part of why it's not an outright immunity to Poison at least. Due to Fairy types not really needing the buff, I figure this can should go more to (colorful and mostly weaker) Grass type mons if possible that could use the buff to essentially lose one of their five weaknesses or, in Grass/Poison mon's cases, actually resist Poison. Bruxish mostly could just get it because it's a hideously colorful thing, though all of that poor mon's abilities are weirdly actually decent, so it doesn't really need this. Still, I guess a few weaker Water mons, Ice mons, and/or Kecleon could get it too. Shrug.
:ss/Meganium: :ss/typhlosion: :ss/feraligatr:
Meganium:
Typlosion:
Feraligatr:

Meganium: +Play Rough, +Moonblast, +Draining Kiss, +Superpower, +Dazzling Gleam

Typlosion: +Earth Power, +Meteor Beam, +Scorching Sands, +Stealth Rock

Feraligatr: +Sucker Punch, +Pursuit, +Scale Shot

A well needed global buff to the three all around worse starters, making them all roughly better than they usually are. Meganium gains huge buffs, as well as Typlosion getting a big tune up, turning it into the Fire type killer it was meant to be. Water Dark Feraligatr gives it more options for SF STAB and Pursuit makes it a legit whole new Pokémon.
:ss/blacephalon:
Type:

Abilities: Beast Boost / Regenerator
New Moves: Pyro Ball, Headbutt, Poltergeist, Head Charge
Justification: REGEN BLACE IS BACK HELL YEAH! Regenerator offsets SR damage, making it so it can run other items more freely. It also allows for multiple uses of Mind Blown which is always fun. Other than that, made some movepool additions to make physical sets a bit more viable. Mon still suffers because of Goltres though.
:sm/centiskorch:
Name: Centiskorch
Type:

Abilities: Flash Fire / Intimidate / Sticky Hold
New Moves: Scale Shot, Recover, Sucker Punch, First Impression, U-Turn, Earthquake, Toxic, Rapid Spin
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: It just occurred to me that Centiskorch is a Bug-type with an exclamation point as a point of its design but it doesn't learn First Impression, for some ungodly reason? So, I fixed that, but this is still a ZU mon, so I should probably give it other things if people are actually gonna use it in a NatDex OU metagame. First, Recover, your choice of Sticky Hold or Intimidate, Toxic, Rapid Spin, and U-Turn give it a ton more defensive utility, with Fire/Bug being a pretty decent typing defensively once you get past the Rocks weakness (it's why bulky Volcarona works, after all), letting Centiskorch check the likes of Scizor, Weavile, Heatran (thanks to EQ), Mega Lopunny, Rilalboom, Ferrothorn, Clefable, and Mega Mawile, among others. First Impression gives offensive sets a great priority move, and Scale Shot, EQ and Sucker Punch make Coil sets a bit more threatening. Probably not gonna rule the world or anything, but I think Centiskorch becomes usable with these changes.
:sm/houndoom::sm/houndoom-mega:
Name: Houndoom & Mega Houndoom
Type: Dark / Fire -> Dark / Fire
Abilities: Early Bird / Flash Fire / Solar Power -> Sheer Force
New Moves: Fiery Wrath
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: The whole 'give the mega ability to the base mon and give the mega a new one' concept that Yoshiblaze pulled with Ampharos also works with Houndoom, so thanks for that lol. Fiery Wrath makes a lot of sense for Houndoom to have, and gives it a slightly stronger STAB, which it can use in combination with Solar Power on Sun teams to hit even harder with Nasty Plot sets without needing to use a Mega slot. Meanwhile, Mega Houndoom gets Sheer Force, which finally gives it a niche over Zard-Y, as with the addition of Fiery Wrath, NP sets deal absolutely bonkers damage at +2. Of course, it's still fairly frail and rocks-weak, so setup opportunities are somewhat limited, but the raw power Sheer Force adds makes it well worth the risk. Also, flavor-wise Houdoom are known for being very brutal, particularly Mega Houndoom as it's contantly in pain from its own heat (plus, it's not gonna have time for secondary effects if it's constantly feeling the pain of its own body melting).

Now we'll start the third 24 hour Distribution/Discussion Phase. During this phase, you can discuss what mons should and shouldn't get the newly added moves and abilities. The council will use your feedback and create a final list. After that, the next submission phase will start immediately.

It's recommended that you use the Discord to discuss distribution (in #distribution-discussion), though you can use this thread as well. See you there!

Something something "still can't use Discord right now".

Congrats to the (other) winners, but wow, Slate 2 is so far the only Slate where something with Regenerator hasn't won. Also "wow" at how much Iron Fist feasted this Slate. Can't wait for Melmetal to finally ascend to Ubers godhood when someone gives it Regenerator over Sticky Hold and a +2 priority Punch-based move next slate:

Buffed Moves (& Enchanted Punch):
Enchanted Punch:
This is the move I'm most worried about not because I think it will be broken but just because it's so weird to go from "no generic Fairy physical attacks exist outside of Play Rough" to "the only generic Fairy physical alternative to Play Rough targets SpD while being boosted by Iron Fist". Feels like we skipped a step, though that's something for next slate or two I guess. As far as distribution goes, I'm a bit wary of giving this to any of the already stronger Iron Fist mons, but at least :hitmonchan: would be safe with it (since it's so terrible), and flavor-wise, both :politoed: and :poliwrath: make sense too. (Poliwrath is thus a perfect storm of Enchanted Punching.)

Electro Ball: Weirdly I'm not wary of this move's buff at all, which may be a mistake ultimately between how many mons get Agility and given the Gen VIII buff of Rapid Spin. Still, I'd feel more comfortable with :regieleki: getting this since that mon still has jack for Grounds over something like :zeraora:. (Obviously any mon with Speed Boost is a no-go.)

Elemental Punches: No comment beyond "easy enough to distribute provided they even need more distribution."

Sky Uppercut: The move that won that I'm the most interested in seeing how it turns out even if distribution should probably be limited. We should probably keep this away from the three strongest Iron Fist mons: :melmetal:, :conkeldurr:, and :buzzwole:, especially since the latter two get STAB. It's not like Melmetal or Conkeldurr look like they can jump either anyway. We might have to keep it away from :metagross: too, if only because of its Mega. Shrug. (Also, while it would definitely fit its flavor, we should probably keep this away from :hawlucha:, especially since its STAB coverage is already bonkers before being able to bop Zapdos. Speaking of which, please no to :zapdos-galar: too.)

EDIT: Wait. We totally have to give to this to :regigigas:.

Buffed Abilities:
Merciless:
The only other thing besides Regenerator Blacephon that somewhat worries me, though mostly because of how broad this is now. I do think all the mons that G-Luke suggested are perfectly reasonable though except for :chandelure:, which already has three good abilities anyway on top of still-bonkers SpA, and especially :gengar:, which just seems nightmarish if it had this especially in light of the change to Focus Blast in Slate 1. Can't think of anything else to give it to though, much less safely. The only thing that comes to mind off the top of my head is :honchkrow:, especially since this ability basically tells Super Luck to go to Hell and die now.

Neuroforce: All the mons already suggested seem reasonable to give to, so my only suggestion would be to give it some lesser Psychic mons that fit its vague flavor too, like :orbeetle: and (regular only?) :hoopa: and maybe :delphox:. Shrug.

Pastel Veil: A bit funny that this won when this was easily the least important part of the whole "please give a non-Mega mon Misty Surge" Rapidash-Galar package that failed this time, though ironically this does somewhat help keep the buffed Merciless in check now maybe. Besides my already existent suggestions, the only additional ones I have are the mons with colorful variants like :alcremie:, :oricorio:, :vivillon:, and :wormadam:, maybe few Water mons like :gastrodon: (I have never seen anyone use Sand Force on this), :ludicolo:, :milotic: and/or :octillery:, and maybe even a couple of Ice mons like :aurorus: (though not over either ability it currently has) and :lapras:. Bruxish would fit its flavor, but I like all of its abilities like I said even if Wonder Skin is...eh and even if it's not really going to use anything besides Strong Jaw; then again, it's not like Vivillion will use anything besides Compound Eyes either though. In a fit of further irony, for some reason this seems weirdly difficult to give to most Grass mons.

(I guess we could also give this to Slowbro-Mega over the apparently underwhelming--on it--Prickly Coat that it for some reason got nerfed with last Slate if we don't want to just give it back Shell Armor or, in a fit of even more irony, give it Neuroforce. Shrug.)

Preemptive "have a good, safe weekend".

Alright, so it's only been 8 hours since the distribution started, but the discussion on Discord and the post above went so well and the community came to enough of a consensus that we feel like we can end the Distribution Phase early and reveal the results now!
However, if you missed out on the discussion and want to add something, then for the duration of tomorrow, you can say so in this thread or on Discord and we may retroactively add it

Anyways, here's the results!

Also, here's a quick buff and a nerf:

-:garchomp:Arid Absorption:excadrill: Now heals the user by 33%, Damages active Water-types by 33% of their max HP, Heals the user by an extra 33% and raises the user's Attack by 1 stage for every Water-type on the field - Makes the healing from the move much more rewarding while punishing common Water-type switch-ins harder
- :samurott: Samurott:samurott: Can no longer learn Triple Axel, Lightning Lance, or Secret Sword - This makes Samurott a lot easier to wall with bulky Water-types and lets Blissey take a hit from special sets to Toxic or Seismic Toss it once

With that done, submissions for Slate 5 are now open!

:ss/steelix-mega:
-Sand Force, +Bulletproof

Mega Steelix gaining Bulletproof finally allows it to get the leg up on MAggron, thanks to being able to absorb the newly buffed Focus Blast, and being able to swap into several threatening Ghost types, making it an all around much more consistent Psychic type check than MAggron is, while MAggron still usurps it as a raw tank.

:ss/Grapploct:

+Aqua Jet, +Flip Turn, +Mach Punch, +Recover, +Toxic, +Taunt

Grapploct gains buffs to both it's Rain Dish set and its Technician sets, allowing Rain Dish Octolock sets to be able to trap passive walls much more effectively, and its Technician sets gain powerful priority and STAB pivoting.

:ss/eelektross:

Levitate / Merciless | Swift Swim
+Poison Jab, +Gunk Shot, +Surf, +Sludge Bomb, +Toxic Spikes, +Liquidation, +Venoshock, +Weather Ball, +Toxic Thread, +Scald
Eelektross is pretty interesting as a Pokemon after this rework. It's typing is arguably improved by quite a bit (serving as a natural check to Melmetal), and it gained quite a few interesting options to utilize. Swift Swim and the presence of multiple Water type moves serve as to diversify Eelektross's options outside of simply never dropping Levitate, and is an angle unique from other mod's interpretation of Eel as far as I seen.

Flags: Punch, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Hammer Arm: :Dusknoir: :Crabominable: :Poliwrath: / Ice Hammer: :abomasnow: :darmanitan-galar::poliwrath:
Justification: What Iron Fist users need the most....a reason to use their punching STAB over Close Combat! Hammer Arm gets a well needed bump in viability, turning from bad to great in no time!

Name: Jaw Lock
Power: 110
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 [Max 16]
Category:

Effect: Traps both the user and the opponent when used.

Flags: Bite, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :lycanroc: :lycanroc-midnight: :lycanroc-dusk: :tyrunt: :relicanth: :mightyena: :tyranitar: :dracovish: :sharpedo:
Justification: The new and improved Jaw Lock finally does what the base should have done - be a well worth Risk - Reward scenario. 80 BP Dark move just simply was not worth using on it's sole user Drednaw, but now, being a 110 BP Rock type attack, basically guaranteeting that you cannot switch out may be worth it if you can actually enable vicious trapping scenarios. Some Strong Jaw Pokémon like Tyrantrum and the aforementioned Drednaw may even get a new kease on life and finally taste OU.

Name: Prophetic [ability]
Effect: All of the user's non-snatchable Psychic-type moves are delayed by 2 turns, similar to Future Sight. If this ability is removed, moves already delayed by this ability continue as normal. Only one move can be delayed at once.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Cursola line, Meowstic line, Delphox, Celebi, maybe Absol, prolly several psychic types
Justification: Provides incredible amounts of utility with attacking psychic moves and field effects, and also further enables mons with detrimental abilities via delayed Skill Swaps.

Name: Whisper Jar [item]
Effect: When this item would be removed from the user, it is not. Instead, all enemies have their Def and SpD lowered by 1 stage.
Can Be Knocked Off: No (Knock is not boosted against whisper jar holders, and whisper jar's effect triggers when hit by knock)
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 60 BP, no other effect besides the item's natural effect.
Justification: Whisper Jar is designed to function as both Knock and Trick deterrent, and can also be used in conjunction with Trick or Fling to function as a reusable debuff to the opponents' defensive stats.

:swsh/dunsparce:
Name: Dunsparce [adjustments]
Type: Ground / Fairy
Abilities: Serene Grace / Run Away / Pixilate
New Moves: Taunt, Play Rough
Justification: Dunsparce has awful stats, there's no changing that. However, due to it being one of my favorite mons, I'll try to give it a fun niche in the lower tiers anyway. Major changes are that it has an infinitely better typing in Ground/Fairy, and has gained Pixilate, which gives it a nice Fairy STAB in combination with Body Slam. Taunt is also here to give it some additional utility. (Also, Play Rough is there for non-Pixilate sets)

Pokémon

Name: Polteageist
Type: Ghost / Water
Abilities:
Weak Armor / Rain Dish / Cursed Body
New Moves: Scald, Hydro Pump, Flip Turn, Waterfall, Liquidation, Ice beam
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Well, tea is made from...water. I thought about doing another Water/Fire, but Ghost/Water is a good type and deserves to be distributed more.

Justification: Give a good STAB ghost to those who didn't win poltergeist (Dragapult, Mimikyu, Aegislash line)

Name: Blast Burn / Eternabeam / Frenzy Plant / Giga Impact / Hydro Cannon / Hyper Beam / Meteor Assault / Prismatic Laser / Roar of Time / Rock Wrecker
Power: Same as original
Accuracy: 80% all
PP: 8 (MAX) all
Category: Same as original
Type: Same as original
Effect: User takes 1/2 recoil damage after using.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same as original + removes recharge
Potential Pokémon with this move(s): Same as original
Justification: Make these strong moves more viable in exchange for 1/2 recoil, a la Head Smash / Light of Ruin. Rock head users will love it, although there are (yet) no Rock Head special attackers

Abilities

Name:
Sniper
Effect: Boosts Accuracy 1.1x. +1 Critical Hit Ratio.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon with this ability: Same as original
Justification: Huge buff for Inteleon (others that have this ability prefer to use another one). Inteleon has always been inferior to the other 2 starters for its mediocre movepool and mediocre abilities, now it can enter the competition with its good speed and decent spa.

Items

Name:
Multiple Tails
Effect: Holder's moves multi-hit always hit the maximum number of times.
Can be knocked off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30, none
Justification: Skill Link as an item. Increase the viability of Skill Link users, as they can now use another ability (Ambipom with Technician) with the risk of losing their firepower when encountering Knock Off.

(notable users: :blacephalon::cherrim::diggersby::linoone:)
Justification: Spammable Fire-type coverage for Grass mons. I know, sounds insane. Also gives some Fires an alternative to Flare Blitz, but restrictive flavor (either fruit-based or explosion-based) means distribution is fairly limited.
Name: Concussion
Effect: While this Pokemon is active, opposing Pokemon cannot use their items.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :bewear::buzzwole::krookodile::pangoro::scrafty::terrakion:
Justification: A classic FELT ability. Disabling boots is great for dissuading threats such as Cinderace, and for keeping various defoggers from getting rid of stacked hazards. Plus, disabling Leftovers is great for wallbreaking, and avoiding Rocky Helmet chip is always great on physical attackers. Also Concussion Terrakion goes hard, feel free to screenshot.

Name: Corrosion
Effect: This Pokemon can poison or badly poison other Pokemon regardless of their typing. This Pokemon's Poison moves hit Steel-types neutrally.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current users + :dragalge::victreebel: (maaaybe :nihilego: if it wouldn't be too much)
Justification: Massive buff to the ability, which still barely affects Salazzle somehow. However, Mismagius as well as any Poisons that might get it become very, very scary, especially for teams that rely on defensive Steels.
Name: Rifle
Effect: The holder's ballistic moves have 1.3x power and are guaranteed to hit.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 80
Justification: Better Life Orb with a smaller area of effect. Really enables special Fighting types, as well as various other mons (such as Gengar), but the existence of Bulletproof does put somewhat of a damper on it.

Name: Tart Apple / Sweet Apple
Effect: If held by Flapple, holder's accuracy and speed are 1.5x / If held by Appletun, recovers 1/8 max HP at the end of each turn, takes half damage from Poison moves, poison damage is halved (including Toxic).
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 20
Justification: Both of the apples are untiered, and these items perfectly complement their strengths. Flapple in particular becomes a terrifyingly powerful wallbreaker, while Appletun gets a hyper-boosted Leftovers (which Ripen should have done anyway).

Name: Tornadus
Type:

Abilities: Prankster / Delta Stream / Defiant
New Moves: Brave Bird
Removed Moves:
Justification: Funny 0 weakness mon. Still has similar problems to what it had, but Bulk Up sets go pretty hard with Brave Bird and Sky Uppercut. Nasty Plot is an option, but I honestly think it's not very good at that role.

:ss/crobat:
Name: Crobat
Type:

Abilities: Inner Focus / Delta Stream / Infiltrator
New Moves:
Removed Moves:
Justification: Amazing defensive typing with Delta Stream allows it to pull off utility pivot roles much easier. Still struggles with poor bulk and somewhat low offensive power.

:ss/dodrio:
Name: Dodrio
Type:

Abilities: Analytic / Early Bird / Moody
New Moves: Earthquake, High Horsepower, Triple Axel
Removed Moves:
Justification: Lando 2. Absolutely insane buffs to typing, ability, and movepool easily catapult it into OU (and yes, it has flavor for all of this. Ask me about it if you're wondering), with pseudo-Speed Boost in tandem with Swords Dance allowing for terrifying sweeping sets, or Analytic providing a great immediate power boost to all of its moves, allowing it to take advantage of the switches it forces. Near-perfect coverage in BB/EQ/Axel is great, and Ground/Flying is an amazing typing both offensively and defensively. Still has obnoxiously low bulk, and doesn't hit particularly hard unboosted, but while it might be hard to get going, it easily has the tools to become a staple.

more has been added.

Type:

Effect: The user's defense and special defense stat each drop one stage.
Priority: 0
Flags: Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :gigalith::nihilego::omastar::diancie::duraludon:
Justification: Powerful Rock-type special attack. Rock has always been lacking in special attacks and this intends to add a much stronger option to the rare Rock-type special breakers that exist. Implemented in a way that makes the move a special CC clone, which is really nice for better enabling rock-type special attackers, however it likely won't find itself anywhere near as domineering over the meta due to the move's more limited distribution.

Name: Skitter Smack / Lunge
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15 [24 Max]
Category:

Type:

Effect: Drops the opponent’s Special Attack / Attack by one stage.
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Justification: Skitter Smack is literally just Lunge for Special Attack & worse. However buffing Skitter Smack to Lunge levels doesn’t do much to help it find more use either, as both moves would be outclassed as an 80 BP Bug STAB by Leech Life, as draining health is far more reliable defensively than dropping a stat. So, boosting both to 90 BP could help the move find a bit of a niche, as these options are now an overall more powerful bug STAB than the typically superior Leech Life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Narcolepsy
Effect: While this Pokémon is active, opposing Pokémon are treated as if they have the comatose ability. Pokémon that are either affected by Sweet Veil, or have Insomnia or Vital Spirit as their abilities are immune this effect.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :musharna::noctowl::hypno::stantler::komala::shiinotic:
Justification: Finally, viable Dream Eater! Not too much to elaborate on here. The opponent cannot gain status and can attack while asleep, while in exchange they can be targeted by the likes of Dream Eater and Nightmare.

Name: Magma Armor [Adjustment]
Effect: Halves the damage dealt to the Pokémon with this Ability by Water-type attacks and this Pokémon’s fire-type attacks deal 1.5x more damage.
This ability also prevents this Pokémon from being Frozen. A Pokémon with Magma Armor will be cured of being Frozen if it is Frozen while in battle.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :camerupt-mega: probably other stuff too idk
Justification: Inverse Water Bubble. This ability is originally borderline useless, so here is an attempt to make it far more beneficial and desirable for mons already with the ability, and can be used to bump up the overall power threshold of certain mons. although instead of the ability boosting damage by 2x just like water bubble, it only boosts it by 1.5x to make the ability a bit easier to distribute. Be careful with distribution.

Name: Tangled Feet [Adjustment]
Effect: While Confused, this Pokémon’s speed is boosted by 50%. This Pokémon cannot hit itself in confusion.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Mons that dance or learn Outrage, Thrash, or Petal Dance
Justification: Tangled Feet is a rather unique ability, one of the only two that interact with the confused status, and the only one that provides a benefit to being confused. However, that’s all the ability had going for it, between uncompetitive effects, confusion being unreliable, and the ability having lackluster users. So, this sub aims to completely overhaul the ability. The only real problem with the ability as of now is that it is rather challenging to rely on confusing yourself, with the only real method being the multi-turn attacks, however that doesn’t mean we can’t submit new ways to accomplish that in the future.

Name: Adaptive Armor
Effect: Upon switching in this Pokémon receives a one-stage stat boost depending on the opponent’s highest attacking stat. If the Attack stat is higher, then Defense is raised. If Special Attack is greater than or equal to Attack, then Special Defense is raised.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :genesect::stakataka: :slowking-galar::dragalge:
Justification: Download but for Defense. Decent for pivoting in, as the ability will make you take less from opponent’s stronger offensive stat. Couldn’t think of all too good a list for mons with the ability atm, so take the Potential Pokemon list with a grain of salt.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Heat Totem / Rain Totem / Snow Totem / Sand Totem
Effect: Upon Switch-in or receiving this item, this item is consumed and Harsh Sunlight / Rain / Hail / Sandstorm is summoned for 5 turns.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 50 BP, Summons corresponding weather for 5 turns
Justification: Self-setting weather for abusers. Abusers can skip the setup via self-setting moves or pivoting weather mons, in exchange for giving up their item slot. Idk kinda just a random idea I had.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:ss/Armaldo:
Name: Armaldo
Type:

Abilities: Multiscale / Dry Skin [HA]
Ability changes apply for both Armaldo and its prevo, Anorith.

New Moves: Rain Dance, Skitter Smack, Lunge, Scale Shot
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Armaldo is a classic example of a Rapid Spinner whose fallen behind in viability. So, here is my attempt for helping provide Armaldo with some more tools to utilize in its spinning role. One of Armaldo’s biggest problems was that it’s poor speed and type combo made it really easy to snipe with a supereffective attack. So, it’s two new abilities act to provide Armaldo with more defensive tools. These two new abilities are intended to draw parallels to Armaldo's old abilities, with Multiscale to Battle Armor and Dry Skin to Swift Swim. Dry Skin aims helps alleviate one of Armaldo’s most prominent weaknesses, while Multiscale is here as well for broader usage, allowing Armaldo to more effectively take a hit before spinning. As for some of the new moves, Armaldo’s gets access to both of Bug’s stat-dropping attacks, helping boost its overall defensive potential, and Scale Shot is also there because it could be funny for stacking even more speed boosts.

:ss/beedrill-mega:
Name: Beedrill-Mega
Type:

Abilities: Adaptability
New Moves: First Impression
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Not too much has changed, but enough to bump Beedrill up in viability. Mega Beedrill forgoes it’s poison typing for the ground typing now, giving it a rather unique STAB combo to utilize in competitive play. It also gains access to First Impression, allowing Beedrill to threaten the likes of Mega Alakazam. Despite these buffs, Mega Beedrill still definitely has counter play. Due to its incredibly frail nature, switching in can be challenging, and even when on the field it finds itself still incredibly vulnerable to priority.

Abilities:
Azelf: Levitate / Competitive / Moxie [HA]
Mesprit:
Levitate / Moody / Prankster [HA]
Uxie:
Levitate / Neuroforce / Filter [HA]
New Moves: Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Reversal, Vacuum Wave, Force Palm | Taunt, Moonblast, Spirit Break, Fairy Lock, Defog | Flash Cannon, Recover, Disable, Doom Desire, Teleport
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Lake Trio but more unique between the three. I’ll do some briefs over what I changed for each of the three.
Azelf is now part fighting, and also receives more fighting moves. This type makes the most sense for Willpower, also it reflects how Azelf is the only Lake Spirit to naturally learn a Fighting move. For Hidden abilities Defiant and Competitive fit well with the Willpower flavor, although Azelf primarily runs special sets so I settled on Competitive. With these changes Azelf overall can find itself more threatening in the current meta, gaining much stronger STAB coverage and also punishes the likes of Lando-T.
Mesprit is the Spirit of Emotion, and the closest type I could think for that was Fairy type. It also gets Prankster due to its travels messing with the emotions of nearby humans. It also gets a larger array of various status moves so it can more properly utilize its ability, as well as some more Fairy moves. With prankster it can play either offensive or support, with the likes of Thunder Wave, Defog, and Taunt.
It was harder to figure out the changes for Uxie, as being the Lake Spirit of Knowledge is already largely covered by what Uxie is. So, these changes are certainly more focused towards making Uxie far more viable than it currently is. Steel was added to complement how Uxie is the defensively-oriented Lake Spirit. It gets Filter for both competitive reasons, also for the stretchy explanation that it can filter/erase the memories of others. Uxie is now far more viable defensively, as it gains many more resistances, and can choose to either gain an immunity to Steel or make itself more resilient to all of its weaknesses. It’s also the only lake Spirit with access to reliable recovery. Overall Uxie can just operate far better as a defensive pivot with these changes.

Justification: One of the coolest moves from CCAPM2021 recreated here. This is a very usefull wallbreaking tool that lets its users greatly pressure switch-ins. Notably, Weavile already learns this move and gets STAB on it. other than that the only potential high-tier user I can see (with the vanilla distribution) is Blaziken.

Justification: Mega Kanga no longer has the busted move that 2HKOs everything. This should by all means make it fine to drop to OU, as its otherwise a pretty tame mon, it faces some compoetition from Mega Lop and the multiple Contact punish in this gen help keep it in check.
