Chansey also gets wrekt by CM Landorus. Celebi loses to Landorus' that carry Sludge Wave. We can have a list of checks sure, but they'll really be limited to CM (Mega) Latias, possibly Chansey and that's probably it. maybe a (CM) Mega Slowking should GF make one
Yeah should've made it clear that I was talking about non CM or knock off lando. tbh sludge wave is a rather poor coverage move to run on lando. lando can basically get around all of it's checks and counters with the right move. In the lando-t section, there are some sets that lose to double dance, but they can still check scarf sets. Can't really expect 1 mon to counter lando running sludge wave / CM / knock off / earth power / hp ice / psychic / focus blast etc

yay 1234th post

I'm going to follow suit and add a few suggestions of my own. Liking your list firehusky, although I'm not sure how good of a Gengar check Hippowdon is since Shadow Ball does a lot and Stone Edge is a pretty unreliable way of doing damage back.

Tornadus-T for Lando-I checks
Gliscor for Lando-I checks
Lati@s for Lando-I checks
Volcarona for Mega Sableye checks
Mega Charizard Y for Mega Sableye checks
Lucario for Revenge Killers / Late Game Cleaners
Mega Pinsir for Revenge Killers / Late Game Cleaners
Scizor / Mega Scizor for Revenge Killers / Late Game Cleaners
Hippowdon for Mega Lopunny checks
Togekiss for Dragon-Type checks

I hope I didn't offer up anything that's already been said.

Also I think a Fairy-Type Checks category might be nice. Thoughts?

I think it'd only be worth adding a fairy-type check section should Metagross kick the bucket.

Fairy-type Checks category would be nice. List would be something like this:

Bisharp, Excadrill, Gengar, Ferrothorn, Heatran, Magnezone, Magneton, Mega Metagross, (Mega) Scizor, (Mega) Venusaur, Amoonguss, Volcarona, Tentacruel, Klefki, Victini, Mega Charizard X/Y, Talonflame, Jirachi, Empoleon, Lucario, Toxicroak, and maybe Skarmory.

Kurona I don't think a Mega Metagross ban would even affect Fairy-types that much because it's far from the best check to them. Those Fairy teams on the suspect ladder are mostly just people trying out what might have improved.

Add Clefable as a Mega Lopunny check?
Umm... no.

252 Atk Mega Lopunny Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 153-180 (38.8 - 45.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Mega Lopunny High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 96-114 (24.3 - 28.9%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Lopunny: 204-242 (75.2 - 89.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Sorry, I forgot to take into account Leftovers recovery.
Uh, it checks it pretty hard without Lefties. Maxing at 45% allows it to just recover up, and that's assuming by Clef gets maxed rolls every time.

Also, jw when is Kabutops ever going to set up an SD, especially when it needs the coverage and all the rain turns it can handle.

I thought we were talking about Mega Bunny?

SD Kabutops is a thing in rain, it normally runs SD or Rapid Spin / Waterfall / Stone Edge / Low Kick or Aqua Jet. I understand if it's not added, because it might not be it's best option.

Few more for lando-I checks:

Togekiss: for non-sludge wave variants

Gyarados: spdef rest talk is cool, and bulky dd can chew a hit and setup

Mega Aerodactyl: prevents it from spamming earth power, often paired with hippo to boost its spdef, revenge kills with ice fang or Aqua tail

p2

Banned deucer.
Mega Venusaur is a decent Mega Lopunny + Landorus-T check as it's only 3HKO'd by their move powerful moves even after SR (Return and EQ respectively) and it has Synthesis + Giga Drain to stay healthy

I'd like to suggest that we add Azumarill checks, it was S rank in XY and though it's not now I still feel it's necessary
Azumarill checks would be almost the same as Fairy-type checks so I don't think it's needed. It being S rank in XY doesn't really matter because it's ORAS now.

maybe add talon under gengar checks?
252 Atk Sharp Beak Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gengar: 259-306 (100 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Id say Jirachi and Thundy-T under choice scarf users.

Maybe mega scizor under Baton pass too?

Bulk up talonflame under "other set-up" would be neat too IMO.

Talonflame would probably kill itself with brave bird recoil though.
its a check. gengar has low hp anyways so lol. even after rocks you live recoil
without rocks gengar killing is a roll anyways
252 SpA Life Orb Gengar Sludge Wave vs. 88 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 274-324 (85.8 - 101.5%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO
