Gen 5 BW2 Ubers tournament feat: YVELTAL [Won by ZoroarkForever]

Hi, BW2 Ubers is pretty cool, so I encourage the userbase to play it. However, ORAS has an awesome Pokemon named Yveltal in it and really, it deserves the opportunity to shine in a truly great metagame. A lot of people recognize Ghost Arceus as a huge threat in BW, and for good reason: it doesn't have many checks outside of blobs / really bulky TWave users like Jirachi (which subCM obliterates) and stuff like specially defensive Kyogre, which "makes it go away" moreso than beats it. Neither of these sets fit well on offensive teams. Darkrai is an excellent Ghostceus check, but cannot switch in safely lest it risk getting a Focus Blast to the face. Yveltal offers a Ghostceus check that isn't weak to Focus Blast and can blast away at it with Dark Pulse.

Yveltal can also abuse Rain by spamming extremely powerful Hurricanes, rip apart sand with Focus Blast sets, Sucker Punch the shit out of Lati@s and Mewtwo, and even run a decent Choice Scarf sets thanks to its access to U-Turn and extremely powerful STABs. There's no doubt Yveltal will be monstrous in the BW metagame...but there's only one way to find out how monstrous!

Post "in" (or some random meme i don't give a shit) if you want to participate in this tournament.

Rules:

  • Best of three
  • Yveltal may only use moves legal in BW. Therefore, it cannot spam Oblivion Wing or Phantom Force. Move Tutor moves unavailable to Yveltal in XY, such as Heat Wave, will be legal.
  • BW Ubers rules and clauses apply...except no Baton Pass or Swagger. Nothing runs Baton Pass viably in BW anyway besides Smeargle (Speed Boost + Baton Pass is not legal on Blaziken in BW) so this shouldn't piss too many people off.
  • Challenge in Custom, for obvious reasons
  • EKiller may not run 460 Attack EVs, as much as it needs to half the time in this metagame
  • Yveltal is obviously legal, but no other Gen 6 mons may be used
