It probably was never redone when it droped after hype because there much better stuff to run so there was more important mons to work on is my guess. It has an NU analysis, not a PU one.

No, it's just unranked and really bad here but ranked in nu. This also happened with sliggoo, it only has an nu analysis because it's usable there but not ranked here.It probably was never redone when it droped after hype because there much better stuff to run so there was more important mons to work on is my guess.
Smogon generally is against complex bans, only allowing them when necessary, PU was basically told that we couldn't complex ban anything regarding dpunchAre there any written rules about complex bans ? When is a tier allowed to perform one and when is it not ? And why hasn't the PU leaders perform a complex ban concerning Machoke + DPunch ?
I know, but I'm just curious if my situation is possible or not, I know that a suspect is the obvious thing if there's anything done about itgalbia said:we are not banning something without suspecting it first, or at least council voting it.
this will apply to this situation in particular because the main offender, Combusken, is not in PU, and PU doesn't even have a good Magic Bounce user.
Also probably nothing is going to happen
Mienfoo has always been "viable" even with Machoke here. It's mostly outclassed by Monferno when it comes to any sort of offensive set however Mienfoo has great utility options in knock off, regenerator, BU pass, SD pass, Subpass, and even CM pass. Overall Mienfoo is a cool mon you should try out and experiment with but don't expect it to fill Machoke's shoes. Mienfoo is not a very good rock resist as most rock types can 2hko with their coverage moves unless you are running a sizeable chunk of bulk.Is Mienfoo viable now that Machoke is banned? Regenerator + being a decent Rock resist seems like a good enough niche.
Gleam was just used for Machoke, Hidden Power Fighting is the generally superior option although Thunderbolt is also a decent choice depending on your team.Ok so which move is more useful on Misdreavus, Dazzling Gleam or Hidden Power Fighting?
Gleam can hit vullaby as well. Hp fighting gives you the ability to OHKO Pawniard if you choose to play that 50/50. Vullaby isn't too common right now though, so running hp fighting is generally a better option imo too.Ok so which move is more useful on Misdreavus, Dazzling Gleam or Hidden Power Fighting?
I'm really glad Muk dropped along with Cacturne because it happens to be a good check. Vullaby is another option because it resists Cacturne's STAB moves and can easily take a Focus Blast or Superpower. It also gets U-turn which Cacturne does not want to be hit with, even if Vullaby doesn't have much attack power.Speaking of Cacturne, what viable checks are there aside from Monferno? As of right now it 6-0s my team, but Monferno doesn't fit.
http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/muk.3579531/So what are the Muk sets being used in PU right now? Is the suggested NU set viable? I've been thinking of squeezing him onto my team.
Sliggo can be used on rain teams with rest and hydration with a setup move such as curse or else it can be a rain setter but not with damp rock. Use eviolite.Could there be a possible niche for Sliggoo in this tier, or is it just outdone by everything else?
they're all approximately the same viability (theoretically), and just ordered in alphabetical order instead. The distinction of whether stuff like seaking or avalugg is better just isn't too important which is why we don't botherJust wondering, if pokemon on the Viability Rankings are listed by viability up until B-, how does one determine a pu mons viability below those ranks?
