Urshifu-S once was notorious as one of the hardest Pokemon to switch into in OU, and its offensive prowess cannot be ignored in an Ubers environment either. Though it is seen less than threats like Yveltal and Marshadow, Urshifu-S is more difficult for slower Pokemon to play around due to Wicked Blow and Unseen Fist. This gives Urshifu-S the option to use Substitute to further threaten defensive teams and give itself a safety net versus faster threats on a forced switch. This set's lack of immediate power to threaten OHKOs on slower Pokemon and Sucker Punch to revenge kill faster threats can be troublesome, and fast teammates like Calyrex-S and Eternatus can remedy these issues. Necrozma-DM's presence in the team is also vital to check Xerneas and Eternatus, as they can switch into this set at least once. Salac Berry and Substitute can ease Urshifu-S's matchup against faster Pokemon, but Sticky Web users like Slurpuff can still be considered on specialized teams.
