I've started making teams based on generation and type. This is the first team i have made so far and i was just wondering if it could have any improvements. (i'm sure there's many). This team is made more for fun than for competitive use but i am open to ideas of how to improve it.

I chose Seel because of Dewgong really. Since it's not an ice type, I was thinking about replacing it with Shellder. Seel is to be used at the start of the battle so it is more of a test to see what the opponent has. It has Aqua tail for an offensive water move, Blizzard for an offensive ice move, signal beam as an offensive bug move and a possible way for confusion and Ice shard as a first move ice attack just before it faints.

Seel @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 96 HP / 96 Atk / 92 Def / 96 SpA / 80 SpD / 48 Spe
- Aqua Tail
- Blizzard
- Signal Beam
- Ice Shard

Dewgong is the offensive anti-dark and psychic pokemon. I have used this team quite a bit and it has taken down lots of psychics. it is pretty much the upgraded version of Seel. It has Surf for an offensive water move, Blizzard for an offensive ice move, signal beam as an offensive bug move and a possible way for confusion and Ice beam as a more accurate ice move.

Dewgong @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 100 HP / 100 Def / 104 SpA / 100 SpD / 104 Spe
- Blizzard
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Signal Beam

Cloyster is to be used when there is either against a bulky pokemon, fairy pokemon or a pokemon specializing on attack. It has Icicle Spear for a multiple hit ice move which is surprisingly effective against bulky pokemon, Explosion just before it faints, Poison Jab as an anti-fairy move and a possible way for poisoning bulky pokemon and Avalanche as a first move ice attack just before it faints.

Cloyster @ Leftovers
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 92 HP / 88 Atk / 92 Def / 92 SpA / 84 SpD / 60 Spe
- Avalanche
- Explosion
- Icicle Spear
- Poison Jab

Jynx is to be used against ghost, water and poison types. It has energy ball to be used against water types, Blizzard as an offensive ice move (plus it's an ice type in an ice-based team), Psychic as an anti-poison move and Shadow Ball as an anti-ghost move. Jynx is an effective special attacker.

Jynx @ Leftovers
Ability: Forewarn
EVs: 100 HP / 100 Def / 108 SpA / 100 SpD / 100 Spe
- Energy Ball
- Blizzard
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball

Lapras is to be used when there is either against a bulky pokemon, water pokemon. It has Dragon pulse which is effective against most pokemon, Freeze-dry as an anti-water move and a normal ice move, Thunder as an offensive electric move as another anti-water move instead of Blizzard and Surf as an offensive water move. Lapras is very bulky

Lapras @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 104 HP / 104 Def / 100 SpA / 100 SpD / 100 Spe
- Dragon Pulse
- Freeze-Dry
- Thunder
- Surf

I couldn't leave this team without the master of Kanto Ice, Articuno. It has Blizzard as an offensive ice move, Freeze-dry as an anti-water move and a more accurate ice move, Hurricane as an offensive flying move which is capable of possible confusion and Roost for obvious reasons.

Articuno @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 104 HP / 100 Def / 104 SpA / 100 SpD / 100 Spe
Modest Nature
- Blizzard
- Freeze-Dry
- Hurricane
- Roost

Please leave a reply on how this team can be improved.

Hi there, welcome to Smogon! This forum is only for asking advice for competitive teams, so I'd recommend sticking to posting those in the future as you're not going to receive any serious or informative rates for a heavily themed team like this. Therefore I've locked this RMT and the other one you posted since it faces similar issues, and besides you can only post one RMT every two weeks as per the forum rules. If you're new to this I'd recommend checking out the strategy dex for Pokemon analyses which can help introduce you to competitive battling. If you need any help don't hesitate to ask. Good luck!
