I guess the good thing about missing the Smogon gathering in Canada due to being in Japan is that this year I won tickets to TGS and I'll be going.

I'm planning on checking out Phantasy Star Online 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and *shudder* DmC (just to see how awful it is) but I'm excited beyond belief to give Asura's Wrath a try. I hope that they have playable Yasha there!

Don't listen to Atlas. You go to the PSO2 booth and relay all videos. All Day.

EDIT: And hold as many people hostage to get an American release date.

I'll agree with Theory on this one, since audiences outside of Japan would likely not be as aware of both series. The contrasting art styles won't help at all (mostly the eyes probably). Nintendo published the Layton series outside of Japan so might might also be a slight problem. I should probably play both series too, something I have yet to do.

If Nintendo just has a revamped 3DS and a crappy analog-nipple/game bundl and nothing else new I won't be happy. A release date for Zelda Four Swords DSi should come soon, considering they said it would release soon.

Did you guys not play the monster hunter tri on Wii? It was pretty good there, no need to worry about the 3ds version at all.

I'm more concerned about them not translating 3rd. Seriously, as soon as the games get a serious cult following, Capcom goes Soup Nazi on fans and says, "NO MONSTER HUNTER FOR YOU!"
I guess I also still have Capcom rage from the Megaman Legends 3 and Megaman Universe cancellation.

well you have to admit that monster hunter pretty much under performs in the US (and everywhere else for that matter)

which is a real shame because it is one of my favorites, especially now that i wouldn't be able to import a copy due to the 3ds being region locked

Can someone explain what the heck I was watching with the mii faces on human bodies? I probably shouldn't be reading an ebook and watching this..

EDIT: OH YEAH FIRE EMBLEM!

It's Capcom. Of course they're gonna screw us over.

Well, with something at least.

EDIT: Skyward Sword is supposed to last 50 - 100 hours? Holy wow.

Localize at least one of those Monster Hunters Capcom and I'll love you again.
