Technical Support v2 [READ ORIGINAL POST before posting]

1. OS is Android (phone), not sure of the specifics.
2. I use the PS app
3. haven't tried in a browser
4. I've had this problem as long as I can recall.
5. Grasshopper0
6. Despite perfect connection to WiFi, I get frequent disconnections from the server mid-game. A prompt asks me to reconnect or work offline. The reconnect option leads to a seemingly infinite hang. I've tried closing the app and re-opening it, but it only a blank white screen comes up. Eventually, I am able to use the app again, but I can't get back to my battle (which is certainly forfeited at that point).

2. I use the PS app
We are not the creators of the android application for PS and cant help with issues relating to it. Also assuming its not the app, theres really nothing we can do anyways. Everything seems OK on the server and its probably some sort of issue on your end/between you and the server.

1. Windows 10
2. Opera (should be the current version)
3. haven't tried others since this seemed to be a one off issue
4. Just this one time a couple minutes ago
5. gamerguy425

apologies if this is in the wrong place, (I wasn't sure if this should go to bug report or Technical support?) but I had an issue with disconnecting. normally I don't have these issues often or if I do I'm able to come back immediately. you can't really see it in the replay, but the main issue was it appeared my OPPONENT disconnected, and I had no notification whatsoever that I was disconnected as well apparently (or it was just me), I just selected my move and waited for him to come back, then when I decided to click the timer it said "stop timer" instead. apparently the entire time I was disconnected and lost.

I think it might have been a server restart?

  1. Mac OS X El Capitan
  2. Safari v11.0.2
  3. I've also tried Chrome. Same error happens.
  4. This problem just started today, about 3 hours ago

  6. I got disconnected and when trying to reconnect, I get the message "Couldn't Connect to Server!" However, I can still connect to other PS servers like http://azure.psim.us. I can't figure out what the issue could be. No network settings have been altered, and the router hasn't been messed with. Just to be as specific as possible, I will say I had recently finished a battle on a new alt and was attempting to register it, but was having issues saying it was already registered when I got disconnected. I could still login to that alt as well as my main on those other servers, proving that the alt was not previously registered

I checked, and turns out you can get in easily via signing in with HTTP, and I have asked, and my responses were "PS is having problems, so sign in with HTTP, and they will eventually be fixed." Said it here to help ya out

Hmmm that's interesting. I know you can sign into to HTTP, but that leaves me with a very outdated version of my team builder (like 1000 teams are missing), so I didn't want that. Thanks for the answer if that's true

  1. Windows 10 and IOS

3. Same issue with Chromium

6. Message "Couldn't connect to server!" Retrying on HTTP works.

Message from debugger: sim2.psim.us uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 21.07.2019 00:48. The current time is 21.07.2019 13:29. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

3. No, don't have anything else installed (Edit: I'm an idiot and remembered I have Edge because Windows is silly. Still having the same problem, but it can connect through HTTP so I'm going to see what I can do on firefox)

6. Standard "cannot connect" error, attempted to disable add-ons and use http but nothing has worked

Guys, staff will have this fixed eventually, do not worry. It is just a problem and PS always finds a way to fix this stuff.
Edit: Well this is just stupid! Even with HTTP I can't connect now! Argh!

Our certificate expired and we need to renew it for HTTPS to work again, were working on it.

Server was taken down to update the certificate and make this easier to do in the future, there is no ETA for when it will be back up, please be patient.

EDIT: If your coming from the help room, also see the next post down

Ok so, bad news, the changes chaos attempted to make failed so we still don't have an updated certificate. Were just going to have to wait for Zarel to be avaliable. The server is back up on http though. I'll update you guys here once HTTPS is live again or if we go down (assuming I'm around).

Ah, alright. Well, thanks for the update, hope things get taken care of soon

Hey, I can't seem to speak in any rooms as when I try to say something, it says I'm not in the room when I know I am, and I tried to ask someone in PMs why it had some crash message
