Kabutops @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Aquatic Assault
-
Psycho Cut / Leech Life
- Swords Dance /
Flip Turn
While outclassed in OU by another Swift Swim user I'll talk about later, the additions of Psycho Cut and Flip Turn make Kabutops a pretty appealing as a Swift Swim user in lower tiers, with it being able to keep momentum with Flip Turn and chunk physical walls with Psycho Cut.
Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-
Dragon Dance
-
Dual Wingbeat
- Stone Edge
- Thunder Fang / Ice Fang / Fire Fang / Roost
Honestly, this thing is just.... dumb.
Mega Aerodactyl was already a Top 3 Mega in the metagame but now you gave it a ridiculously good setup move in DDance and a better STAB move in the buffed Dual Wingbeat, being a ridiculous 130 BP after Tough Claws, being slightly stronger than its already ridiculous STAB Pluck when it removes an item. Legitimately suspect worthy in theory, but we'll see.
Zapdos @ Damp Rock

Zapdos @ Damp Rock

Hurricane
- Roost
- Toxic
Zapdos has Drizzle in SylveMons, so the additions of Weather Ball and Hurricane are seriously amazing buffs for an already great mon. Now, it has a great dual combo of perfectly accurate Thunders and Hurricanes, giving Tornadus-I a run for its money as the best offensive Rain setter coming off an impressive 125 Special Attack stat.
Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Weather Warrior's Crystal
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast /
Weather Ball
- Solar Beam
-
Scorching Sands
- U-turn
Moltres is literally Mega Zard Y but with U-Turn instead of Flame Bullet (though it does get Jetstream if you really want priority), so I could definitely see it having an OU niche.
Dragonite @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
-
Dual Wingbeat
- Extreme Speed / Roost / Fire Punch
- Earthquake
Dragonite @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
-
Dual Wingbeat /
Body Press
- Roost
- Haze / Toxic / Thunder Wave / Heal Bell
- River Stream /
Body Press
Dragonite is pretty good in a meta where hazard removal is so prevalent, allowing it to keep its Multiscale for as long as possible. This plus a nice buff to its offensive sets with Dual Wingbeat makes it a pretty good looking sweeper. I've also been using defensive DNite recently and with the addition of a move consistent STAB in Dual Wingbeat, as opposed to Dragon Tail or Hurricane, and a great defensive move in Body Press, a set that I think is underrated just gets better.
Entei @ Anguish Bandanna / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Stalwart
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Extreme Speed
- Thunder Fang / Stomping Tantrum
-
Flame Wheel
While not quite OU viable, Entei's newfound access to Flame Wheel allows to act as one of the better revenge killers in lower tiers as it has a strong priority move in ESpeed to pick off weakened sweepers and the option to Pursuit-trap them with Flame Wheel if they try to switch. If you do try to use it in OU, it can at least annoy Jirachi and Blissey while not being complete Toxapex bait, though I'd rather use Infernape or Lycanroc-Dusk for that role.
Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aquatic Assault
- Earthquake
-
Bulk Up /
Flip Turn
- Ice Punch /
Flip Turn / Thunder Punch
Remember when I mentioned an even better Swift Swim user at the Kabutops section. Well, yeah....
This thing is ridiculous. Bulky, super strong, can pivot on the few things that can actually switch into it, and can set up with Bulk Up to get stronger AND bulkier, it's honestly crazy. This plus buffs to both of rain's best setters make this update a huge buff to that playstyle, especially when there's no Grassy Terrain Rillaboom to singlehandedly ruin it (though you should watch out for the less common Leafage Tapu Bulu and Grassy Surge Leafeon)
Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Meteor Mash / Ice Punch

Psycho Cut
- Stomping Tantrum
- Bullet Punch
Yeah, as if this thing couldn't get any scarier, it now gets another Technician-boosted STAB that can murder physical walls...

Tornadus (M) @ Damp Rock / Any Other Weather Rock

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
-
Weather Ball
-
Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast / Taunt
Speaking of rain getting buffed, Tornadus must've heard about Zapdos getting Hurricane and Weather Ball and decided to keep its spot as the best offensive weather setter in the game by adding Nasty Plot, making so that any weather sweeper, especially physical weather sweepers like Mega Swampert, Emolga, and Excadrill, can form a deadly offensive core with it. Even without a weather teammate, Damp Rock, Shadow Rock, and Smooth Rock Tornadus sets have great STAB combos and good coverage, making Torn a great offensive mon by itself.

Aurora Veil
- Freeze-Dry
- Blizzard
- Recrystalize
Its typing still absolutely sucks, but the fact that this is the lower tier version of the ridiculously good Veil setter Articuno shouldn't go unnoticed. Still faces a bit of competition from Cryogonal in that regard, but much better bulk and 66% recovery are both huge boons.
Carbink @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fairy Lock

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fairy Lock
-
Body Press
- Iron Defense
- Moonlight
A gimmick and a half but a really funny one. Trap the opponent with Fairy Lock, Iron Defense to +6, then spam Body Press until they die. Simple as that. What's even funnier is that Carbink and Diancie are equally good at doing this thanks to having the same HP and defenses, though if you use this is a serious battle, use Diancie to bluff being a Mega set. Speaking of which, Mega Diancie gets Mystical Fire, which makes it harder for Mega Scizor to switch into, Play Rough for physical sets if you want a little bit more power than Fairy Lock, and Misty Explosion if you want your suicide lead more to hit on the Special side.
Tapu Bulu @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Leafage / Horn Leech

High Horsepower
Sucks that it didn't get Grassy Glide, but CC and High Horsepower are pretty decent consolation prizes, right? Moreso in SylveMons since Rillaboom doesn't have Grassy Surge, with the Grassy Surge + Glide combo being best used by the much weaker Leafeon, so Bulu is automatically more appealing.
Tapu Fini @ Leftovers

If you want sweeping potential, stick with Tail Glow + Z-Sleep Powder with Beast Boost and Ion Absorb, but if you want straight power then lol, here you go. 173 SpAtk and a 182 BP move, sounds about right to me. We're all lucky it's so slow.
Stakataka @ Macho Brace
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Lonely Nature
IVs: 15 Def / 0 Spe

Another very suspect worthy threat since both Housekeeping users can't even dream of switching into it
