A highlight from each series
ORAS OU: xray vs Lusa -- xray is pretty clearly best ORAS in the pool to me. A lot of people write Lusa off cuz he's pretty quiet but he's always a killer. I've really liked his team choices across sm and oras as of late too and I'm confident he'll give xray a run for his money on the battlefield. And xray knows that, so I think he will feel incentivized to show up with a shiny strong new team and not get lazy this week. Lot of good to expect from these two because of that.
SS OU: Attribute vs Jytcampbell -- jyt had a really great game last week and is already trying to make me regret my sm ranking of him. Attribute was as fire as ever. Somehow he always ends up slept on but he just Gets wins when he puts the effort in and he seems motivated to me. Kind of a battle of underrated players here in that sense so it makes for a nice matchup. I do hope we see some new team selections though, SS is very known for team recycling and I don't suuuuuper consider either one to be overly innovative, but I still think it'll be a good game.
RBY OU: Green on fire vs Kenix -- I think GOF might just be my favorite tiger. Bro comes into the rby channel after his win and writes "I am green on fire." And he earned the right to do so imo, the series vs chuva was seriously flawless. Kenix also pulled off a big upset and I was surprised by how strong the gaming was, just because I had no personal experiences watching him Rby before. I wasn't surprised at his confidence and showboatiness but I'm glad "carapinga" is just a mainstay character now. We have a battle here of two strong confident RBYers and I actually wanna watch an RBY set because of it.
SV OU: CTC vs Finchinator -- Bro this game is like jock vs nerd its awesome. CTC wants to fight with fists and Finch wants to have a moderated debate. CTC's game last week was good and his team was really innovative too. Finch's team didn't wow me but it looks like the kind of standard that would end up in a sample team thread. Honestly I hope he rolls up with something super standard this week too, so we get one of those "reinvent the wheel vs driving a car" philosophy matchups.
SM OU: Welli0u vs PZZ -- Both are coming off pretty bad beats from last week so motivations have gotta be super high. Welli0u in his prep chat is probably trying to make sure he never loses to a random HO sweeper again while PZZ is trying to make sure he never loses to full stall ever again. Welli0u is a pretty heavy overdog coming into this matchup on paper but I wouldn't count PZZ out, he's improved a lot and one of the most motivated guys out there right now so I have high hopes for the game.

Personal Highlights

SM OU: Zaza vs devin - zaza evidently uses unorthodox teams and devin has an offensive flare so this can be a very chaotic game (but also possibly extremely boring? im optimistic though)

ORAS OU: xray vs Lusa - not much to say besides its 2 top oras guys and oras is great to watch right now

SM OU: GeniusX vs Charmflash - geniusx went super saiyan last week and pretty much outplayed the entire game start to finish, meanwhile charm very handily won his first game back in a while so this should be fun

ADV OU: M Dragon vs McMeghan - does m dragon still have it? will roro baton pass him? will rock slide flinch? exhilarating.

SV OU: CTC vs Finchinator - fire emoji

ORAS OU: CrashinBoomBang vs Santu - these guys play every spl and they’ve traded unclose games in the past, i also don’t think last week will deter cbb’s desire to cook so we should expect more Heat here
