Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

Here we go

(L) Golem.
(R) Four Walreins and two Excadrills.
★100% PURE SKILL: pls work
(R) Quick Claw Excadrill.
(R) Quick Claw HORN DRILL Excadrill. I'm guessing that the Walreins are gonna spam Sheer Cold then.
(L) The Golem is not Sturdy.
(R) The Excadrill has Horn Drill and Fissure.
(R) Walrein somehow learns Fissure and is using it.
(L) Reshiram has Blue Flare and Fire Blast.
(R) Rest Sleep Talk Fissure Walrein.
(R) The Walrein has Sheer Cold too.

It is so ironic has a user by the name of 100% PURE SKILL won by hax with stupid gimmicks, not by skills.

While in the horrors of the monotype ladder, I was fighting this one guy and his flying team. He forfeited after my Choice Scarf Jirachi flinched him twice in a row with Iron Head. I don't have the replay but this is how he reacted:
  • Fuck you you lucky fuck
  • Nice hax
Tbh, he was just lucky I only flinched him twice out of the 10 or so times I used Iron Head.

EDIT: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-416030076 Feat. a good number of LC and NFE mons with bad movesets, and more.
Here we go:

(Both) No items on anything.
(L) Charizard. Based on the first thing, you know what this means...
(R) His "excuse" for using that team.
(R) Waterfall+Drill Peck+Blizzard+Hydro Pump Piplup.
(L) Cosmic Power Sigilyph. That set is supposed to run Flame Orb and Psycho Shift. Also, it sucks. It also had Zen Headbutt, and lost to Piplup after getting frozen.
(R) Body Slam+Quick Attack+Flamethrower+Fire Blast Vulpix. Its Flash Fire also screwed over the Charizard.
(L) The move Charizard used to trigger Flash Fire? Flare Blitz.
(R) Jigglypuff.
(L) Gengar using Shadow Ball on Jigglypuff, and then getting put to sleep by Sing.
(L) Drain Punch+Brick Break Jigglypuff, which Blissey managed to stall out.
(R) Skarmory had Steel Wing.
(L) Switching Gengar in on Houndour.
(R) Said Houndour had Shadow Ball, which killed Gengar and caused left to forfeit.
(R) Leafeon, which was not sent out.

Right also manages to hit all Blizzards, until it gets out of PP.

This one needs a list. BADLY. It has a Raticate, and a hilariously horrible one, at that.
(R) Extreme Speed Ninjask. Gotta go fast.
(L) Thunder Wave Darkrai, for some reason. Also not real sure if Darkrai is any good in BH in the first place.
(R) After letting Megachomp set up, Ninjask tanks Sacred Fire with a Sash and uses Explosion.
(L) Which promptly triggers Garchomp's own Sash.
(R) Belly Drum Slaking is at least smart enough to run Shadow Sneak to kill those pesky Gengar.
(R) Counter+Mirror Coat+Destiny Bond Raticate. You are not Wobbuffet. Also, Shadow Tag is banned in BH iirc.
(L) No Guard Focus Blast MMY is something.
(R) Jolteon is nicknamed Zapdos.
(R) Prankster Shuckle puts MMY to sleep, but it only gets a one turn sleep and promptly dies to Psystrike.
(R) Bullet Punch normal Aggron doing all of 19% to MMY. Judging by the calcs, it probably did not have any Attack investment whatsoever.

Bad nicknames, bad movesets (minus left's Xerneas; that's actually pretty cool), and an ending that you won't see coming. What's not to love?
(L) Sand Stream Zard-X, which at least forced Sturdinja out.
(L) Said Charizard using Thousand Arrows instead of Dragon Claw on the Chansey that Impostered it.
(L) On that topic, Dragon Claw in BH. For the record, Zard-X also has 130 base SpA, so you can run Draco Meteor or Spacial Rend if you want.
(R) Belly Drum Sitrus Berry Cheek Pouch Regigigas.
(L) Primordial Sea Zapdos, which makes sense with Thunder and Hurricane, but it used neither. It also had Quiver Dance.
(L) People will do just about anything to run their precious Groudon in BH since PDon got banned. Normally they use Red Orb, which is still fair game, but this one had Rocky Helmet, which, to be fair, killed Sturdinja.
(R) Mega Rayquaza kills a 1 HP Groudon with Draco Meteor, then: [Rayquaza's] Special Attack fell severely! That's right, Simple Draco Meteor.
(R) Hyper Beam Xerneas.
(L) Acupressure Lugia. Alas, it is unable to stop the aforementioned Regigigas, which sets up on it and kills it.
(L) Arceus"-Fire" with Sacred Fire, Oblivion Wing, and Seismic Toss.
(R) Soundproof Perish Song is not unusual, but running it on Deoxys-D is.
(Both) Seismic Toss outdoes Cosmic Power, giving left the win on the last turn before Arceus would faint.

Near-identical teams in RANDOM BATTLE (He has Ninetales instead of Arcanine, which are version-exclusive counterparts, while I have Dragonair over Dragonite). What the hell.
W-well, it's Gen 1, so the pool of Pokémon is smaller. Still pretty unlikely though.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/inversebattle-417901957 Maybe I'll just start PP stalling abjectly incompetent teams, because how am I supposed to derive any enjoyment from battling them except by doing pointless stunts? Also maybe I'll bore them into clicking 'Forfeit', which would be somewhat less insulting than playing the battle through despite having zero chance of winning.

Maybe I'm just cranky because I've gotten three battles on the Inverse ladder all day and two of them were obvious troll/failure teams (and not particularly entertaining ones at that).

Mega Blastoise haxes its way to victory against four Aegislash, one Aqua Tail non-mega Rayquaza, and one Clefable.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-418060578
More Rayquaza with random moves losing to an Arceus spam team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-418067568
Cosplay Pikachu team forces a forfeit.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-418065856
Guess the Mega on left, Razor Shell under Desolate Land, and more. Shame this battle ended prematurely, though.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-418064596
Sand Force Excadrill, Sash Lando-T, AV Tentacruel, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-418067231
Bad Dunsparce set hard walled by Whimsicott. Left also had a Feebas, but did not use it.

Liepard troll vs. stupid gimmick.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-418064630
Same Liepard troll vs. Ambipom (and a bad one at that), Seadra, and friends.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-418059659
When FEARmons collide, the only escape is the timer.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-418064072
Endure Zard-Y vs. Hyper Beam Meloetta.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-418073366
Aside from Ditto and Porygon-Z, I don't think anything on right's team is even viable, never mind good.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-418072381
Forretress uses Volt Switch... AGAINST A GROUND MONO. Left is bailed out, however, by the fact that Volcarona is basically a god.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-418277944
They tried to use sound-based moves on a Soundproof Pokemon. Multiple times.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-418325074
Much to my disappointment, Eeveelution teams in BH still exist

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-418369549
Even though this battle didn't last long, right had some of the most hilariously awful sets I've ever seen, and they were all laughable attempts at Imposterproofing. My personal favorite was Charge Beam/Electric Terrain/Electrify (iirc)/Electro Ball Cosplaychu.
