Pancreatitis

Hey smogoners, my x-GF was just diagnosed with Pancreatitis and im really worried can you guys please explain it to me? ive done reasearch and such i just dont grasp it. i would assume its acute bc shes only 16 so any input, advise or anything would really be able to help me out if you know someone that has had this, and maybe how long recovery takes. Its especially difficult because she told me she liked me last night lol and wakes up paralyzed by pain. anyways thanks guys

Inflammation of the pancreas. Basically her stomach area is going to hurt for awhile if it is acute, if it is recurring it will come back again and again.

Its probably gallstones.
