ROFL Ok, I know that this is by far the best replay, but it shows really clearly how broken Baton Pass is as well as trapping abilities themselves. Me and Creator of Chaos were derping around with a bunch of battles when he challenged me to an Uber battle with a full trapper team (which I won), asked for a rematch, and I stole WebBowser's BP team and this was the result. Not asking for it to be in the archive or whatever, but it was really hilarious to see two of the most broken 'playstyles' head-to-head.

...Full trapper seems awfully gimmicky. I have a difficult time envisioning CoC's team doing terribly well on the OU ladder(way too vulnerable to virtually any competent mega sweeper). Trappers aren't strong on their own (much like BPers), but are very powerful when combined with powerful sweepers that have a limited set of checks. Furthermore, trappers don't really synergyze with eachother the same way BPers do, so it's unlikely that you can pull off something akin to Denis' Glorious Pass.

Just my thoughts on the replay. If you all want high ladder replays of me abusing BP shenanigans, I'll be happy to oblige.

I'll be honest webrowser the trap team was a joke team from when mega mance was around and somehow got to 1500 on the ladder using the combo of trick locking something before switching to dugtrio and setting up hone claws to either sweep or induce rage quits. Seriously its just a gimmick list with a potential game ending combo but it's fun when it works and the game vs BP hilarious

This is my Mega Heracross team. However, only pokemon was needed.
This would have been a 6 pokemon sweep in less than 9 Turns, however my opponent forfeit to avoid the embarassment.
Anyway, the pokemon which did the damage:

Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt

Who said Megacham was long gone?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-219044294

I decided to make a fun little team featuring this old guy who was a pretty big presence in the early and mid XY metagame, seeing as how Heatran and Landorus-T, the most common pokemon in OU right now, don't appreciate what this thing dishes out. Like Gallade, it's a blessing to be neutral to Psychic moves, and the priority moves it receives are great for scouting and revenging fairy types. It requires decent support to prevent birdspam and status from ruining it, but I hope I can make it somewhere on the ladder with this thing and cause others to reconsider its usefulness.

your opponent needlessly sacked lando-T and bisharp at end instead of just going to starmie...

Watch as one bows down to god of Pokemon, is that right?
TFL is the lord, calls hax, calls the god of light
With his ability to call and effect based upon his will
He makes his opponents stay frightened not still

here are the highlights:

Churmp Eevee: i'm tfls bad luck charm which means you're gonna win

did this really happen? no. it was the complete opposite.

tfl the lord of pokehax started the game predicting my lead, so i switched gliscor out and in came amoonguss while taking an ice beam. what happens next? a freeze. on top of this, he hits mantine with psychic and i get a special defense drop which shows how he can control the game with his own will power. afterwards, he switched out to ferrothorn while i went in to gengar. i hit focus blast, but do you know what he said:

★TFL: ps
★TFL: you wont hit this focus blast

i crumbled to tfl's faith and future predicting skills and decided to shadow ball because i knew focus blast was going to miss. he brought an element of surprise and used reverse psychology to bring his specially defensive ferrothorn to action. i felt the doom and wrath of the pokehax lord.

turns passed by and i managed to get a dragon dance off and another one on top of that. i was about to seal the game with mega tyranitar, however... the lord tfl responded by bringing the gods of hax to the battle, and my stone edge missed. all hope of defeating tfl was gone, and i lost the game.

all hail to lord tfl, god of pokehax

Here are a few hilarious battles that I just had to share, based on the false concept that 'Huge Power is Overrated'

Utilizing 2 amazing sets (lol) to completely screw over the opposition.
Which are of course; Sap Sipper Azumaril and Cheek Pouch Diggersby.

Azumarill @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Scald
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
- Perish Song

Diggersby @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Cheek Pouch
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Earthquake
- Recycle
- Knock Off

So here they are folks:

Enjoy!

I really wish azu was just a bit bulkier on the special side. It can't wall modest zard y and one crit is all it takes for timid to break through. Also perish only having 8 pp hurts too. I've tried to build a stall team around it as I thought it would be a bulky water that checked zard y and serp which seemed really cool, but I couldn't make it work.

Here is an interesting battle between me and Ana1ytic:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-229014614
So, I was on the brink of defeat, the battlefield being 2(me) - 6. After losing mon after mon, I decided to bring out my Gyarados Mega, with the new addition of Taunt > Substitute for Aegi Meta. To everyone's suprise, after 1 dragon dance, I managed to clean his whole weakened team! I'm glad I chose Taunt > Substitute, as I pulled it out on Skarmory to prevent it from whirlwinding me away along with my boosts! Mega Gyarados just totally blew Ana1ytic away :] So, as demonstrated, Gyarados Mega is a absolute monster and you should consider preparing for it in future teams ^_^. Added note: Since my team is quite MDiancie Weak, I opted for Balloon Excadrill, also packing Magnet Rise for lols :] Unfortunately its pseudo-bird powers weren't demonstrated in this battle.

Amazing high ladderish battle I had vs amir during the recent suspect test(Aegislash). It consisted of me bringing bog standard rain offense, of course I'm nice n lucky and never get burned but can hardly get blamed for that. I got read like a fiddle during the initial stages of the game but came back in the middle with a crucial prediction ,which involved my staying in with Kingdra to nail the Talonflame double switch. Overall it was a tight game :). Ferrothorn was the MVP in this game pivoting around Suicune/Scizor and Kyub like a lord, and setting up the game for my rain sweepers N_N

this team is built on the flawless strategy of passing Iron Defense to 5 Calm Minders but ofc it doesnt work as well when scoli gets ohko'd turn 1 (i was sleepy ok)

I considered forfeiting after that but as xtra$hine told us, never hit 'x'

Turn 7, clutch 100% chance scald burn and surprise slowbronite eating the knock off

if you take anything away from this just remember moonlight clef is terrible

tour battle vs qwazz

So looking at this battle, especially the end play, a lot of people were spectating and a bunch of people were saying that I somehow choked the end game. However I really don't think I choked, I don't think I could have done anything differently at that point tbh. What do you guys think? Was there something I could've done to avoid the Mega Latias sweep at the end? It was just a bunch of 50/50s with the Slowbro/Latias and basically if I lost even one, I lost the match.

Don't think you could've done much, imo you could've gone for Toxic on the turn where you switched in M-Slowbro on M-Latias and then proceeded with CM war the turn after that

That wouldn't work unfortunately, as you can see in the replay that Qwazz went for Reflect Type, meaning Toxic wouldn't affect M-Latias.

I don't see how this was a choke lol. The only real choke is the bunch of people that couldn't differentiate between a real choke and a presumed choke. Did fine for the circumstances you were provided.
