SM OU Offensive Dancing Team

Garchomp:
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / Def Atk / 92 Spe
Nature: Impish
Item: Rocky Helmet
  • Earthquake
  • Dragon Tail
  • Fire Blast
  • Stealth Rock
This Garchomp should usually be the lead of the team for setting the Stealth Rock. Earthquake is it’s main STAB and hits almost everything hard.
Dragon Tail phases foes and racks up entry hazard damage.
Fire Blast roasts Steel types that resist Earthquake like Skarmory, Mega-Scizor and Ferrothorn.
Stealth Rock is one of the best moves in the game, if not the best, I believe it's Mandatory a team having one Stealth Rock setter

Gyrados
Ability: Moxie
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 88 HP / 220 Atk / 24 Def / 176 Spe
Item: Flyinium Z
  • Waterfall
  • Bounce
  • Earthquake
  • Dragon Dance
Waterfall is Gyrados main STAB and hits pretty much anything, except for Grass Pokémon, which can be put down by Supersonic Skystrike, a terrific STAB that can put some other bulky Pokémon down. Earthquake hits Toxapex and steel types with a nice extra damage. Dragon Dance can be used to buff Gyrados and can be used both early and late in game. Moxie gives a nice attack boost for every KO, which can make Gyradors terrifying to it’s opponents.

Mega-Scizor:
Abilty: Technician
Nature: Adamant
Evs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 60 Def / 124 SpD / 60 Spe
Item: Scizorite
  • Bullet Punch
  • Bug Bite
  • Swords Dance
  • Roost
A very bulky Pokémon with a reliable recovery, Roost is mandatory for Scizor. Bullet Punch is the best priority in OU , that gets bonus for STAB and Technician. Bug Bite also receives a bonus for Technician and hits Slowbro, Tangrowth and water types that resist Bullet Punch.

Zapdos:
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 180 SpD / 16 Spe
Item: Leftovers

  • Thunderbolt
  • HP Ice
  • Roost
  • Defog
Thunderbolt is Zapdos main STAB, hitting decently hard.
HP Ice is Landorus Garchomp, Dragonite and Gliscor.
Roost is a reliable recovery.
Defog is used for removing hazards and is specially useful for the Pokémon below.

Volcarona:
Ability: Flame Body
Nature: Timid
Evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Item: Lum Berry
  • Fiery Dance
  • Bug Buzz
  • Giga Drain
  • Qiver Dance
Usually people use Fire Blast, but Fiery Dance has a 50% chance of raising Volcarona Sp Atk, which is great and has saved my ass quite a few times in 6th gen. Bug Buzz has a good neutral coverage and deals heavy damage. Giga Drain is useful for water type Pokémon. Quiver Dance puts Volcarona at a Great speed tier and gives it power to sweep through teams.

Magearna:
Ability: Soul-Heart
Nature: Modest
Evs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Item: Choice Specs
  • Fleur Cannon
  • Flash Cannon
  • HP Fire
  • Volt Switch
Fleur Cannon is Magearna main STAB, with incredible 130 Base Power; it’s side effect is helped by Soul-Heart. Flash Cannon is a very reliable STAB, since it can use it over and over and abuse Soul-Heart boosts. HP Fire serves for Scizor, Genscect and can OHKO Ferrothorn. Volt Swith makes Magearna serve as a Pivot

For Garchomp, Stone Edge may be preferred over Dragon Claw due to increased coverage options. No hazard removal may be a problem with Volcarona (x4 weak to Stealth Rock), so perhaps a stealth rocker or defogger may be used (my personal choice is starmie over gengar). Rapid spin allows starmie to remove stealth rocks which may be problematic for gyarados and volcarona. The EVs for Starmie are max spA, max Spe, with rapid spin to remove hazards on forced switches. BoltBeam is good coverage, with hydro pump for stab.
Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Nice team though.

Thanks, another thing I did before and that could solve this problem is using Defog on Scizor, instead of Bug Bite,
I'm just not sure if that would be a good option. What do you think about it? Is it a good idea or Starmie would be a better fit?

Bullet punch only scizor is a bad idea due to tapu lele. Really, scizor does not have room to use defog (it would have to forgo roost, mono-attacking is bad). Starmie is a better fit than defog scizor because your scizor doesn't have room to run defog. I hope I helped.

You're right, Scizor monotype is a bad idea. My problem with Starmie is that I already have Gyrados on my team as a water type, I don't like the idea of them together, specially because both rely too much on the Water STAB.

I see three other options that I think would be a better fit:

Mew:
Ability: Scynchronize
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Item: leftovers
  • Psychic
  • Will-o-Wisp
  • Softboiled
  • Defog

Zapdos (Physical Defensive):
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 68 SpA / 16 Spe
Item: Leftovers
  • Thunderbolt
  • Heat Wave
  • Roost
  • Defog

Zapdos (Specially Defensive):
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 180 SpD / 16 Spe
Item: Leftovers

  • Thunderbolt
  • Heat Wave
  • Roost
  • Defog

What do you think?

It depends on what you are going to replace and what your team has trouble with. Does your team have more trouble with physical or special attackers? Can you afford to get an extra stealth rock weak pokemon?

If you cannot afford to have another stealth rock weak pokemon, then choose mew or starmie. Have you considered Starmie + Dragonite? (replacing gengar + gyarados)? This could work if you don't want double water, but double dragon with 4x weak to ice may not be good (thankfully, you have magearna and scizor to block ice types).
Dragonite @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fly
- Outrage
- Earthquake
This is better than salamence due to multiscale meaning a free set-up opportunity against almost all neutral attacks

Even better idea: He who bringeth hazards can taketh them away
Excadrill @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
Replace garchomp with this. That way you can keep gengar and don't have to worry about what defogger/rapid spinner (assuming this is pokebank). Mew could work, but be careful of passivity (especially due to Mega Sableye).

This Excadrill set is excellent, but it does not fit my team since I already have 2 Steel Pokémon, this would make half of my team weak to fire.

Maybe I could use Zapdos and Tank Garchomp.

Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / Def Atk / 92 Spe
Nature: Impish
Item: Rock Helmet
  • Earthquake
  • Dragon Tail
  • Fire Blast
  • Stealth Rock

Excadrill is only supposed to tank 1-2 hits, get stealth rock up, and hopefully rapid spin if needed.
Yes. Use zapdos + tank chomp. Specially defensive zapdos is probably better because of static. The only problem is what to replace for zapdos.
Zapdos, Garchomp, Gengar, Gyarados, Scizor-mega, Volcarona. I'd replace magearna for zapdos and use volt switch instead of thunderbolt due to zapdos being a pivot.

I think I'll switch Gengar for Zapdos, thanks for the advices

Personally, i would switch the ability of gyrados from moxie to intimidate so it can take more hits to set up more dragon dance.
