After Zacian's ban, Necrozma-DM has found more room for different sets. One of its most popular sets is a specially defensive one, utilizing its rare Steel typing and bulk to check threats such as Xerneas and defensive Eternatus. What separates this set from others is Iron Head, which boasts more PP than Sunsteel Strike and synergizes well with Thunder Wave to paraflinch foes. Swords Dance is an option over Stealth Rock to turn Necrozma-DM into a late-game sweeper. The Speed EVs allow it to outspeed a paralyzed Calyrex-S. Since Necrozma-DM is weak to Dark- and Ghost-types such as Yveltal and Marshadow, defensive partners such as Xerneas and Yveltal are greatly appreciated. Xerneas also provides cleric support, while Yveltal can safely bring in Necrozma-DM with U-turn. Necrozma-DM also appreciates partners that can deal with defensive Kyogre such as Blissey and Ferrothorn. Choice Specs Calyrex-S appreciates shared checks such as Yveltal being worn down by Iron Head, and it can take away Yveltal's Heavy-Duty Boots with Trick, making it vulnerable to Stealth Rock.

Can change this to Sitrus Berry Eternatus, that's more popular now than itemless as a marsh check

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane also appreciates partners that can deal with defensive Kyorge sets, such as Blissey and Gastrodon.

I'd replace Gastrodon with Ferrothorn and mention how they also set hazards and can chip walls like Kyogre with that, with Blissey being able to free up ndm to run sd > rocks in particular

I'd also mention specs caly as a strong partner, it pressures ho-oh and loves Yveltal being baited and chipped by paraflinching while also having the ability to Trick their boots off for rocks to chip them down.

You might run into character limit issues here so if you do try to remove minor unnecessary details and synonyms for stuff but if you can't fit everything in the check I'd leave out on talking about Ferrothorn setting hazards and chipping stuff down for it

Choice Specs Calyrex-Shadow Calyrex-S appreciates shared checks such as Yveltal being worn down by Iron Head, and can Trick away its Heavy-Duty Boots so that Stealth Rock can wear it down even more it can take away Yveltal's Heavy-Duty Boots with Trick, making it vulnerable to Stealth Rock.
