Hit the Aegislash on the switch. You'll nail them with Fire Punch all the time that way. Aegislashes like to come in on Medicham on an obvious HJK to cause 50% recoil.

Fire Punch is purely for the switch, you should never stay in on Aegislash with Cham.

And Thunderpunch is pretty much exclusively for hitting Slowbro and Gyarados.
