Lileep is the defining wall of ADV ZU as a result of its reliable recovery, fantastic bulk, and Rock / Grass-typing, which allows it to wall common physical threats like Aipom, Pidgeotto, and Tailow. Critically, it can sponge STAB Double-Edge from these Normal-types and heal off the damage, and it is one of the best checks to Rhyhorn in the tier. Offensive Rhyhorn is the most problematic set for Lileep, able to 2HKO it with Megahorn; even then, however, Lileep OHKOes with its Grass-type STAB move and can tank a Megahorn after switching into a STAB move, meaning the matchup overall favors Lileep. Toxic cripples most switch-ins and pressures the Pokemon Lileep switches into like Aipom and Delcatty. Rock Slide hits prominent threats including Pidgeotto, Taillow, and Delibird for super effective damage. Hidden Power Grass threatens Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn and Water-types such as Staryu and Chinchou. Alternatively, Giga Drain trades power and PP for additional recovery.

Lileep supports any and all teammates, especially defensive cores that would otherwise crumple to Normal-types. It appreciates having status absorbers and fellow defensive pivots like Delcatty, Grimer, and Dustox, while in turn they appreciate Lileep’s ability to threaten Ground- and Rock-types like Rhyhorn and Nosepass. Delcatty in particular provides valuable cleric support to Lileep. Growlithe and Magnemite are offensive wallbreakers that appreciate Lileep threatening these foes as well; in turn, they threaten opposing Lileep, Dustox, Koffing, and Magnemite. Normal-types like Aipom, Taillow, and Pidgeotto also enjoy Lileep weakening Rock-types. They weaken opposing Toxic absorbers for Lileep, and they threaten offensive Pokemon including Spoink, Growlithe, and Cyndaquil. Water-type wallbreakers like Seaking and offensive Chinchou appreciate Lileep reliably checking opposing Grass-types like Exeggcute and Bayleef; in turn, they handle offensive Fire-types and threaten walls like Koffing and opposing Lileep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options:
===================

Lileep can run a specially defensive set with a Sassy nature to check special attackers like Chinchou and Staryu more easily; however, this makes it worse against the physical attackers it is often tasked with handling. Lileep can also trade Rock Slide for Ancient Power to potentially gain a boost; however, the loss in both power and PP is quite noticeable. Lastly, Lileep can sometimes use Hidden Power Ground to hit Magnemite; however, losing its Grass-type STAB move makes it significantly worse against the Rock- and Water-types it otherwise checks.

Checks and Counters:

**Ice-Type coverage**: Specially offensive Castform threatens to 2HKO with Ice Beam. Elekid and Staryu can make it difficult for Lileep to switch in with the threat of a freeze from their Ice-type coverage moves.

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Spoink and Shuppet completely shut down Lileep's healing and Toxic, making it far less effective.

**Poison-types**: Poison types such as Koffing and Grimer completely wall Lileep.

**Toxic Users**: Toxic from Pokemon like opposing Lileep, Chinchou, Dustox, and Elekid severely cripples Lileep, putting it on a timer every switch-in and severely limiting its capabilities as a wall.

**Setup Sweepers**: Thanks to their Lum Berries, setup sweepers like Sunflora and Bagon can use Lileep as setup fodder.

HP Grass should be the first slash over Giga Drain. Lileep always wants the Extra PP and the recovery that comes with Giga Drain is incredibly small and not that important when you have lefties and Recover already.

[SET COMMENTS]
Lileep is one of the most defining wall walls in ADV ZU with reliable recovery, valuable STAB options in Rock Slide and Giga Drain, and a unique defensive profile that allows it to threaten physically offensive Pokemon like Rhyhorn, Pidgeotto, and Taillow. Toxic cripples most switch-ins and create pressure on the Pokemon it switches into mention some mons here it cripples. Rock Slide hits Pidgeotto, Taillow, and Delibird Dustox hard. Giga Drain hits Rhyhorn, Staryu, Larvitar, and Chinchou hard while providing additional recovery. Alternatively, HP Grass gives slightly more power and PP at the cost of recovery. Recover keeps Lileep healthy and able to continue serving its role as a wall.

Lileep appreciates other defensive teammates like Dustox and Delcatty that can soak up the moves it's weak to and provide it cleric support, respectively. Normal-types like Aipom, Taillow, and Castform appreciate Lileep's ability to weaken opposing Rock-types like Rhyhorn and opposing Lileep, while Fire-types appreciate Lileep's ability to check opposing Water-types like Chinchou and Staryu.

Mention what mons appreciate Lileep, for example Physcial / Special Wall Breakers, Toxic / Status Absorbers, Other Defensive Pivots, etc.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options:

Lileep can run a specially defensive set with a Relaxed nature to check special attackers like Chinchou and Staryu more easily; however this makes it worse against the physical attackers it is often times tasked with dealing with.

Mention Ancient Power here

Checks and Counters:

**Physical Attackers:** Aipom, Pidgeotto, and Taillow can all check Lileep if locked into their super-effective coverage options.

**Ice-Type coverage:** Elekid, Staryu, and Chinchou can make it difficult for Lileep to switch in using their Ice-type coverage, especially if they cripple it with freeze.

**Taunt:** Koffing and Magnemite can fully shut down Lileep's ability to heal and cripple it with burn and paralysis, respectively.

Add Toxic Users
Instead of Physical Attackers talk about Set Up Sweepers like Bagon and Sunflora

Hidden Power Grass threatens Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn while also damaging Water-types such as Staryu and Chinchou. Alternatively, Giga Drain trades power and PP for additional recovery. Recover keeps Lileep healthy and able to continue serving its role as a wall.

Give Rock Slide its own sentence don't merge with Toxic. "Rock Slide allows Lileep to threaten Pidgeotto, Taillow and Delibird"

Lileep appreciates having status absorbers and fellow defensive pivots on its team like Koffing, Grimer, and Dustox, while in turn they appreciate Lileep’s ability to threaten opposing Ground-types and Rock-types like Rhyhorn and Nosepass. Growlithe, Cyndaquil, and Elekid are offensive breakers that appreciate these traits as well; in turn they threaten massive damage to fluff opposing Lileep, Dustox, Koffing, and Magnemite. In addition, they also appreciate Lileep’s ability to switch into opposing Water-type STAB from the likes of Seaking and Chinchou. Lileep never comes in Seaking nor Chinchou due to their respective coverage. Normal-types like Aipom, Taillow, and Castform also appreciate Lileep's ability to weaken these Rock-types as well as opposing Lileep, and in turn Lileep appreciates their ability to weaken opposing toxic absorbers and threaten massive damage on Pokémon like Elekid, Growlithe, and Cyndaquil. Special breakers like Seaking and offensive Chinchou appreciate Lileep's ability to reliably check opposing Grass-types like Exeggcute and Bayleef; in turn they handle the offensive Fire-types previously mentioned as well as threatening massive damage on walls like Koffing and opposing Lileep.

**Set Up Sweepers:** Set up sweepers like Sunflora and Bagon are very problematic for can use Lileep as set up fodder. Moreover, both carry Lum Berry meaning further making Lileep set up bait. , as they usually carry a Lum Berry to prevent Toxic and threaten massive damage Lileep after a turn of setup.

Lileep is the defining wall of ADV ZU with as a result of its combination of reliable recovery, fantastic bulk, and a unique defensive profile Rock/Grass-typing that allows it to threaten wall common physically offensive Pokemon like Rhyhorn Aipom, Pidgeotto, and Taillow, traits which at the same time let it serve as among the best checks to Rhyhorn in the tier. Instead of "unique defensive profile", the specific traits that make Lileep great should be stated. "threaten" also isn't necessarily incorrect, but Lileep's claim to fame isn't its ability to offensively threaten your examples, but instead its ability to wall them. And again, while not incorrect in the original wording, Lileep's mu with Rhyhorn is more complex than the other aforementioned threats' mus, and thus deserves its own section. This is a big edit, so feel free to write it how you see fit, but be sure to keep all the information. Toxic cripples most switch-ins and creates pressure on the Pokemon it switches into like Aipom and opposing Lileep. Lileep doesn't want to switch into itself as a result of Toxic. Use another example, such as Delcatty. Rock Slide allows Lileep to hit Pidgeotto, Taillow, and Delibird for super effective damage. Hidden Power Grass threatens Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn while also damaging and Water-types such as Staryu and Chinchou. The original wording implies HP Grass does a notably different amount of damage to Water-types, though it still usually does huge amounts of damage to your examples. Alternatively, Giga Drain trades power and PP for additional recovery. Recover keeps Lileep healthy and able to continue serving its role as a wall.

Lileep appreciates having status absorbers and fellow defensive pivots on its team like Koffing, Grimer, and Dustox, Add and give a special emphasis to Delcatty, who can remove Toxic with Heal Bell. Remove Koffing, it doesn't mind most Rock- and Ground-types. while in turn they appreciate Lileep’s ability to threaten opposing Ground-types and Rock-types like Rhyhorn and Nosepass. Growlithe, Cyndaquil, and Elekid are offensive breakers that appreciate these traits as well; in turn they threaten opposing Lileep, Dustox, Koffing, and Magnemite. Elekid isn't generally a wallbreaker, and is walled by Dustox. Additionally, all 3 don;t have the easiest time breaking through opposing Lileep. Reword the sentence so the wallbreakers listed can beat all the defensive threats listed. Normal-types like Aipom, Taillow, and Castform also appreciate Lileep's ability to weaken these Rock-types as well as opposing Lileep, and in turn Lileep appreciates their ability to weaken opposing toxic absorbers and threaten Pokémon like Elekid, Growlithe, and Cyndaquil. Specify that these Normal-type wallbreakers handle general offensive threats, not just the aformentioned trio. Special breakers Water-type wallbreakers These threats ought to be differentiated from your offensive breakers list like Seaking and offensive Chinchou appreciate Lileep's ability to reliably check opposing Grass-types like Exeggcute and Bayleef; in turn they handle the offensive Fire-types previously mentioned as well as threatening walls like Koffing and opposing Lileep.

Mention how pretty much the entire tier appreciate Lileep's ability to counter Double Edge spam and heal off the damage.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options:

Lileep can run a specially defensive set with a Relaxed Sassy nature to check special attackers like Chinchou and Staryu more easily; however this makes it worse against the physical attackers it is often times tasked with dealing with. Lileep can also opt to trade Rock Slide for Ancient Power to potentially gain a boost; however, the loss in both power and PP is quite noticeable.

Checks and Counters:

**Ice-Type coverage:** Elekid, Staryu, and Chinchou can make it difficult for Lileep to switch in using their Ice-type coverage, especially if they cripple it with freeze.

Mention that offensive Chinchou and specially offensive Castform can 2HKO Lileep with Ice Beam. After that mention how Ice coverage can make it difficult for Lileep to switch in from threats such as Elekid and Skaryu due to the risk of a Freeze.

**Taunt:** Koffing and Magnemite can fully shut down Lileep's ability to heal and cripple it with burn and paralysis, respectively.

This section should be completely overhauled. Magnemite doesn't get Taunt, and while Lileep dislikes being burned and paralyzed, it isn't nearly as dire as being badly poisoned. Additionally, these 2 threats generally beat Lileep almost entirely due to their typing as opposed to any other factor.

Create a new section for "Poison-types" such as Koffing and Grimer that beat Lileep since it lacks the moves to do meaningful damage to them. For the Taunt section, mention threats that do beat Lileep directly through Taunt, such as Spoink.

**Toxic Users:** Toxic from opposing Pokémon like Lileep, Dustox, and Magnemite severely cripple Lileep, putting it on a timer every time it switches in and severely limiting its capabilities as a wall. Switching into Elekid is problematic since it often carries Toxic as well.

**Set Up Sweepers:** Set up sweepers like Sunflora and Bagon can use Lileep as set up fodder. Moreover, both carry a Lum Berry, further making Lileep set up bait.

I know first QC check has been done, but HP Ground should be mentioned in Other Options because of the rise of Magnemite in the current Metagame, who loves to abuse Lileep + Dustox cores without either of them packing HP Ground. I'd say Other Options would be more fitting, cause Giga Drain/ HP Grass is also very important against Rhyhorn & Waters and it's partner in crime Dustox can fit in this move a lot better. Otherwise everything else is fine and others can do language checks a lot better than me.

Rhyhorn is able to threaten to 2HKO Lileep with Megahorn, but is OHKO’d by its grass STAB and can’t threaten an OHKO in return if Lileep switches into its STABs. Sets like LureHorn can't be reliably OHKOed and can't 2HKO back, edit the sentence to specify offensive Rhyhorn and how it is the most problematic set for Lileep, while maintaining that Lileep still has a big advantage. Toxic cripples most switch-ins and creates pressure on the Pokemon it switches into like Aipom and Delcatty. Rock Slide allows Lileep to hit Pidgeotto, Taillow, and Delibird for super-effective damage. Edit the sentence to speak in more general terms, these Pokemon aren't the only threats Rock Slide is useful against. Hidden Power Grass threatens Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn and Water-types such as Staryu and Chinchou. Alternatively, Giga Drain trades power and PP for additional recovery. Recover keeps Lileep healthy and able to continue serving its role as a wall.

Delcatty in particular provides valuable cleric support to Lileep by removing Toxic. Growlithe and Magnemite are offensive breakers that appreciate these traits as well; in turn they threaten opposing Lileep, Dustox, Koffing, and Magnemite. Normal-types like Aipom, Taillow, and Castform Castform has sets that don't mind Rock-types, specify that or use another example. also appreciate Lileep's ability to weaken Rock-types and in turn Lileep appreciates their ability to weaken opposing toxic absorbers and threaten offensive threats including Elekid, Growlithe, and Cyndaquil. Lileep generally beats Elekid, and 2/3 threats you mentioned struggle a lot with it. Replace Elekid with something that Lileep loses to, but all 3 threats (at least with physically offensive sets) can 1v1. Water-type wallbreakers like Seaking and offensive Chinchou appreciate Lileep's ability to reliably check opposing Grass-types like Exeggcute and Bayleef; in turn they handle the offensive Fire-types previously mentioned as well as threatening walls like Koffing and opposing Lileep. Lastly, Lileep’s ability to sponge STAB Double Edge from Normal-types like Aipom and Castform and heal off the damage is appreciated by practically the entire tier. Move this last sentence to the top, as Lileep's ability to handle Normal spam is its most important role in the tier. Emphasize how crucial this is at maintaining defensive cores. Edit the paragraph as necessary.

=================== I'm not sure what these bars are supposed to do but ever other analysis I've seen has them, so they might as well be here too.

Checks and Counters:
===================

**Ice-Type coverage:** Specially offensive Chinchou and Castform threatens to 2HKO with Ice Beam if fully specially offensive. Elekid and Staryu can make it difficult for Lileep to switch in with the threat of a freeze off of their ice coverage.

I apologize as I made a mistake earlier, Chinchou has a 1.2% chance to 2HKO 252/0 Lileep when holding Leftovers, so it's not reliable. The only other Pokemon that can reliable 2HKO Lileep with an Ice move that I could find is Snorunt. You may use it if you want or just leave it at Castform, and reword the section as necessary.

**Taunt:** Taunt users like Spoink and Shuppet completely shut down Lileep’s healing and prevent it from spreading Toxic.

**Poison-types:** Poison-types such as Koffing and Grimer completely wall Lileep since it lacks any moves to do meaningful damage to them.

**Toxic Users:** Toxic from Pokémon like opposing Lileep, Chinchou and Dustox severely cripple Lileep, putting it on a timer every time it switches in and severely limiting its capabilities as a wall. Switching into Elekid is problematic since it often carries Toxic as well.
