Late sub so uh, very spooky and atmospheric, good track. Promise more next time :c
i call bullshit, you cleared my song on discord
A top three Pokemon track for sure. It’s much less obviously an antagonist song than most of the others in the series (fitting for N.) The synths are excellent, and it just keeps you moving and energetic for the boss fight with the arpeggios. The drums especially stand out. True Score: 9.2/10.
Gojira kick ass. I don’t know anyone better at getting every last drop of musicality out of a single riff or bar. They’re so talented at keeping you invested over the course of a longer song. The whale noises are a cool effect, and the vocals are powerful. True Score: 9/10
36 Chambers is one of the most iconic and revolutionary hip hop albums of all time. It gave birth to illustrious careers and much more great music from RZA, Ghostface, and the rest. Chessboxin has the nice U-God appearance, Ghostface’s verse is stupidly dirty, and the Hook catches you. True Score 9.3/10
See RODAN for general Wu Tang stanning. While cream doesn't have as much personality as Chessboxin' it makes up for it with a great piano driven beat and down to earth lyrics. True Score 9.1/10.
That drum solo is a banger. The rest of the song works well to highlight it, and that's all it needed to do.
There’s lots to like here, the song shifts which instrument is carrying the melody very frequently, but the transitions don’t feel forced at all. The violin, the… xylophone esque instrument I don’t quite know, it’s more hollow, before it moves into some brass and then back to strings. Very energetic and vibrant.
Why can’t there be moreeeeee! This is crazy good, but it’s over too fast. As soon as I heard the canabis Wyclef reference I knew I was in for a treat. I also need to listen to my mom more because she loves these guys. This unfortunately loses points for ending too quickly.
This is the right way to do ambient music. Track feels stolen straight out of a Zero Escape game and that’s a good thing. Very moody, but it has the right vibe not to collapse on itself by repeating too much. Beautiful and atmospheric.
The drum fills are super great in this, and the guitars are way less in your face than what I'd expect you'd send me. Not much to say, but I really enjoyed it. Interesting time signature switches in the middle.
This feels plucked from an episode of Cowboy Bebop and I love it. As a piano player, I’m a sucker for some key striking. With a nice easy drum backing and an upbeat swing, what more could you want?
I really really really really hate this.
Improvement!
Bad vocals, terrible writing, and just a slog all the way through.
Bad generic pop, nothing remotely interesting here. It's slightly catchy, Sparks is average enough but I really don't like Brown's voice. The backing overpowers the song a lot.
The bass is obnoxiously in your face, the chorus is bad, and there's nothing distinctive about the vocals in any way.
The opening brass takes way too long to develop, and it's one if the most repetitive songs I've ever heard, but the keyboard riff is good which helps balance it. I don't actively hate the vocals although I wish the girls got more than "looooooove leeeeeeeeters".
There's some good reggae backing and neat little effects but thise opera vocals kill it man. The track also vaguely racist which didn't work against the score but you should probably check that out .
I had a tough time judging this without bias because im conditioned to hate this song. It plays at work literally every god damn day. However, No Bias Gaius declares the backing and synths are ok and writing is good but vocals drag it down.
