Landorus is one of the better Stealth Rock setters on teams built around Stick Web, outspeeding the most common Defogger in Yveltal and chipping it heavily with Explosion while denying entry hazard removal. Rock Slide helps a ton against Ho-Oh and provides almost perfect coverage alongside Earth Power. Superpower is an option instead of Explosion to nail Blissey and Ferrothorn, while Knock Off can be run over Stealth Rock if another setter is on the team to remove the super-common Heavy-Duty Boots from foes. Both moves are common on teams without dedicated suicide leads. Slurpuff is a fantastic partner that not only sets Sticky Web but also gives Landorus a free switch with Misty Explosion. Shuckle similarly compresses Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, freeing up Landorus's final moveslot. Geomancy Xerneas appreciates the pressure Landorus puts on special walls. Nasty Plot Calyrex-S also loves Landorus, as it has an easier time sweeping if Yveltal has its Heavy-Duty Boots removed or is heavily chipped by Landorus's Explosion.
