Ditto

You have EIGHT freaking PP. You're not forcing anything out.
Ditto would win the exchange here. A stall war erupts and they exchange moves that do not hurt the opposing pokemon. When ditto runs out of pp it swiches out and porygon is left with wonderguard but also very little pp. If you paid attention and this porygon has used up soem moves entiirely you can swich in a poke that takes very little damage or a death fodder then bring ditto back in to reclaim wonderguard since dittos pp would be restored.

Alright, since ditto is becoming an interest again because of the possibility (only possibility no conformation of course) It might be wise to start discussing potential partners.

Some that come off the top of my head

Whimsicott: With priority stun spore, you can successfully allow an opponent to set up while knowing that you can slow them down to the point that ditto, even without a scarf, can come in, steal all the boosts, and out-speed. Whimsicott also serves as a safety net just in case ditto fails in preventing a set up sweep because of this. Additionally, Whimsicott can comfortably run taunt instead of encore because ditto's presence causes caution about set up anyway.

Gliscor: Gliscor's poison heal coupled with taunt aid's the team's ability to control what type of set up your opponent gets to use greatly. You want your opponent to have the urge to set up but not set up hazards, status, etc

Sturdy support users: Especially ones that are widely considered to be set up fodder for stat up users. You're going to want to make the temptation to set up on your team be as much as possible. However, you're going to want to have control over your opponent's willingness to set up hazards. The Magic Bounce users (mostly xatu) is a prime example of a good set up fodder that can provide you with screens, wish support, and prevention of hazard set up that ditto doesn't like.

If you were to use Whimsicott, Gliscor, and Xatu you would also want to use something...not weak to ice :P The best examples would probably be bulky waters such as slowking, vaporeon, etc.

Feel free to make other suggestions, my team seems to resemble stall and not offense but ditto theoretically can fit on any team as a revenge killer .-.

People really need to stop hyping Choice Scarf. Ditto's best possibilities are trolling stall, 100%, which he can't do with choice scarf because he can't switch moves. With leftovers and a bit of smart play you can outstall stall since you theoretically have infinite pp though don't go trying anything funny against SToss blissey (though you can softboiled stall out stoss and... yeah, it's disgusting). Choice Scarf Ditto is a pokemon that comes out and gets killed because if your opponent isn't prepared for their own sweepers, especially when they see a ditto on team preview... well, I'm not trusting them with any disaster prep. At the very least, Choice Scarf is by no means Ditto's only usable set, and in turn I'm pretty sure the entrenched idea that people have that Ditto is always choice scarf makes choice scarf a lot less effective and in turn makes well played dittos that can switch moves incredibly effective with decent support.

If were talking ditto support than peopel might want to consider Swagger Steelix with body slam. It could paralyze with body slam then do parafusion with swagger. Steelix can take the attack boosted hits for a while and if he dies send out ditto or if you like send him out earlier when confusion is going on, its a bit risky but more often then not you'll get in safe.

Has anyone tried Macho Brace Ditto on a Trick Room team?
This sounds like a cool idea- You'd still be able to switch moves, but be going faster than the opponent as long as TR is up.

...If Steelix is the best you can think of for that, you may want to do some more thinking. Like, someone with Thunder Wave. Togekiss could work, come to think of it.

yea its more like 1 in a 100

Macho brace is moot because the point of ditto is to revenge kill, and it cant do that with a macho brace since you will have to sacrifics another poke to the sweeper to use trick room. even then, ditto is revenged welll. (like +6 +6 gyarados rampaging, you somehow set up trick room and kill the gyarados, and now your ditto is at +6 +3(macho brace) and anything can outspeed you under trick room)

Yeah, Macho Brace kinda suffers from the same problem as choice scarf ditto in that the limited time of Trick Room means that even though Ditto may be transformed into a setup sweeper that can destroy the opponent's entire team he's gonna have to switch out in a turn or two.

The thing is, Ditto being whatever Pokemon he switches into requires an entirely different kind of team support than simple type synergy or whatever. Instead, whatever item Ditto's carrying defines the kind of support he can supply to the rest of the team and the rest of the team owes him. For example, decent taunt support on a team combined with Leftovers Ditto allows Ditto to turn a lot of stall's defensive options right back on it. But if you don't have support in your team to help give Ditto an advantage over whatever he's cloning. He's a lot like Smeargle in that carelessly thrown on a team he's pretty much useless but in a team that benefits him and benefits from him there's absolutely nothing that can fill his niche. I do hope whenever he's released though after the initial hype he ends up with the low use of similar niche normal types like Porygon2 and Smeargle though so he can wreak havoc everywhere.

I'm just thinking how psychotic Imposter Ditto might be in VGC2012 if we had a chance to use it.

How does Imposter even work in Doubles and Triples, anyhow?

Eccentric/Imposter says that it transforms into the pokemon, does that really mean the attacks as well? cause if so what attack will ditto have? im just saying, whats the point of having a ditto with the abillity to transform with the attack transform.

eccentric is activated as soon as ditto is put in and copies all stat boosts, making it thrash transform

I imagine that it'd mimic the Pokemon opposite Ditto. Either that, or it'd be randomized, but you wouldn't get to choose.

EDIT: Haku, Imposter copies everything except HP and IVs. It works just like using Transform, and Ditto copies the target's moves.

Considering how at least 50% of Ditto would be scarf Ditto, Wobbuffet would probably rise in usage... but it can't take ridiculously boosted hits...

I guess it all depends, Ditto is just like Reuniclus (CM rapes Stall and TR rapes HO, but both are shit against the other): Scarf owns HO and Lefties owns Stall, but both are shitty against the other...
