In the case shown above, a single crit in any situation will kill the Marill (as it moves 2nd and will be hit again or already have damage on it). At first one may think "oh, doesn't matter, just a 4.17% chance" in which case you would be right for a single hit. However, in this stall set, Haxorus gets to use all 16 pp of Earthquake.
Chance for a crit is 1-(1-0.0417)^x, in which X is the number of times the move is used.
The chance of landing a crit is 1-(1-0.0417)^16, that gives a ~49% chance of hitting a crit, effectively making the mu a coinflip. So similar to 70% accuracy moves being allowed, I'd like to suggest the change that the chance of losing to a crit be 30% or less. In other words, you need to win before the more than 8 hits are dealt by the opponent (1-(1-0.0417)^8 = ~28.8% chance of crit). Even a 40% chance could be acceptable, though that feels slightly iffy (that gives 12 hits).
This natural crit chane is relavent in cases where the stall mon only slowly kills the opponent or if the opponent has multi hit moves. However if 2 crits need to be hit, this can entirely be ignored.
