[SET COMMENTS]

Bombirdier is unique in its role compression, offering teams valuable utility in Knock Off, Stealth Rock, and U-turn as well as helping pivot around threats like Zoroark, Rotom, and Appletun thanks to its incredible defensive typing. Knock Off is helpful for keeping Stealth Rock up, punishing Hattrem and Defoggers like Drifblim, Scyther, and Oricorio-F, in addition to pressuring walls like Umbreon and Eelektross. Parting Shot is an alternative to U-turn that gives frailer teammates an easier time switching in, which can be extremely useful on offense teams, though it doesn't deal any damage and unfortunately activates Passimian's Defiant and Lurantis's Contrary. With 72 Speed EVs, Bombirdier outruns and usually beats Modest Clawitzer one-on-one. The Speed investment also allows Bombirdier to outspeed Cacturne and defensive Qwilfish. Tera Ground lets Bombirdier block Volt Switch from Rotom and resist Haunter's Sludge Bomb, which can translate to a surprise OHKO against both foes.

Electric-types like Eelektross, Rotom, and Jolteon are among the biggest threats to Bombirdier and should be accounted for when using it. Grass-types like Appletun and Lurantis are very sturdy checks to such Pokemon, while Ground-types like Sandaconda can block Volt Switch. Fighting-types like Toxicroak and Paldean Tauros can easily set up on Bombirdier, so it appreciates having partners like Sandaconda, Drifblim, and Bruxish that can check them. In return, Bombirdier scares out Grass- and Dark-types like Lurantis and Cacturne. Some Pokemon that Bombirdier can check like Mabosstiff, Farigiraf, and Indeedee-F pack super effective coverage for it, so backup checks to them like Qwilfish, Muk, and Chansey are important to have. Additional pivots, such as Passimian and Eelektross, help maintain momentum alongside Bombirdier and love having their switch-ins worn down by Knock Off and Stealth Rock.

Bombirdier is unique in its role compression, offering teams valuable utility in Knock Off, Stealth Rock, and U-turn as well as helping pivot around threats like Zoroark, Rotom, and Appletun thanks to its powerful defensive typing. Knock Off is also helpful for keeping Stealth Rock up, punishing Hattrem and Defoggers like Drifblim, Scyther, and Oricorio-F, in addition to pressuring walls like Vaporeon Umbreon and Eelektross. (more relevant examples that'll come in on bird) Parting Shot is an alternative to U-turn that gives frailer teammates an easier time switching in, which can be extremely useful on offense, though it doesn't deal any damage and unfortunately activates Passimian's Defiant and Lurantis's Contrary. Tera Ground lets Bombirdier block Volt Switch from Rotom and resist Haunter's Sludge Bomb, which can translate to a surprise OHKO against both foes. (mention new ev changes somewhere around here)

Bombirdier can't threaten Fighting-types with this set, meaning checks like Sandaconda, Drifblim, and Bruxish make for good partners. (not sure if this info needs to be said. I don't think anyone thinks of bombirdier as a fighting check even if it's a flying-type, although if you want to mention that bomb can be setup fodder for croak and tauros that's fine) Sandaconda also switches into both Electric-type moves and Knock Off for Bombirdier, and all of these Pokemon appreciate Bombirdier's ability to scare out Grass- and Dark-types like Lurantis and Cacturne. Additional pivots, such as Passimian and Magneton, complete a momentum core with Bombirdier and love having their switch-ins worn down by Knock Off and Stealth Rock. (I think that this teammate section should be rewritten with more emphasis being put on Electric-types and Pokemon that rock Fairy coverage like Ursaring, Mabo, and Indeedee-F that all threaten out Bomb. The bottom part about pivots and the resists that Bomb provides is great info to have, although I do think there are relevant pivots than Magneton such as Rotom and Eel)

if you want me to take another look over the teammate section after you're done, let me know, but I more than trust your writing so 1/1 when done :)

With 72 Speed EVs, Bombirdier outspeeds Cacturne, Modest Clawitzer, and defensive Qwilfish. (worth mentioning in this line that bomb beats specs claw in a 1v1 if faster) Tera Ground lets Bombirdier block Volt Switch from Rotom and resist Haunter's Sludge Bomb, which can translate to a surprise OHKO against both foes.

(there should be lines here at the top on the specific Electric-types that threaten bomb rather than just referencing Electric-types + their checks. Mention Grass-types like Apple and Lurantis as good partners, Sanda as a Volt immune, etc) Fighting-types like Toxicroak and Paldean Tauros can easily set up on Bombirdier, so it appreciates having partners like Sandaconda, Drifblim, and Bruxish that can check them. Sandaconda also switches into both Electric-type moves and Knock Off for Bombirdier (not so necessary info here imo, sanda as a volt immune can be mentioned up top in the future electric type + checks lines), and all of these Pokemon appreciate Bombirdier's ability to scare out Grass- and Dark-types like Lurantis and Cacturne. Some Pokemon that Bombirdier can check like Mabosstiff, Farigiraf, and Indeedee-F can threaten Bombirdier with all pack super effective coverage for it, so backup checks to them like Qwilfish, Muk, and Chansey are important to have. Qwilfish can also take Fighting-type attacks in addition to forming a hazard stacking core with Bombirdier, while Chansey sponges Electric-type attacks. Additional pivots, such as Passimian and Eelektross, help maintain momentum alongside Bombirdier and love having their switch-ins worn down by Knock Off and Stealth Rock.
