Heavy-Duty Boots provides general longevity by negating entry hazards, while Silk Scarf ensures +2 Extreme Speed OHKOes Kyogre and Miraidon. 56 Speed EVs ensure it outspeeds Adamant Rayquaza, which would otherwise out-prioritize Arceus with its own Extreme Speed. Shadow Claw dispatches troublesome targets like Skeledirge and Giratina-O, which can otherwise wall it. Taunt can deny these foes from using Will-O-Wisp or healing, and it completely shuts down Toxapex, while Recover makes it less prone to chip damage and allows Arceus to grab multiple boosts a lot more easily. Tera Normal buffs Extreme Speed's damage to absurd levels, OHKOing opposing Extreme Killer Arceus after Stealth Rock at +2; alternatively, Tera Fire grants a resistance to both of Zacian-C's STAB moves, allowing Arceus to set up on it, and it also offers a burn immunity. Arceus is threatening, but bulky foes that resist Normal, like Skeledirge and Zacian-C, can impede it from sweeping; as a result, allies like Koraidon and Zacian-C help wear them down for Arceus to clean up.
