[SET COMMENTS]
Pidgeotto stands out as a great physical wallbreaker thanks to its great STAB moves in Double-Edge and Aerial Ace, which can 2HKO common walls such as Dustox, Delcatty, and Bayleef, and it's good speed tier outpacing Pokemon such as Butterfree, Castform, and Chinchou. Pidgeotto faces competition from another Normal / Flying type, Taillow, who has a better Speed and a useful ability in Guts. However, Pidgeotto has better attack and bulk. It avoids OHKOs from walls such as Dustox and Delcatty after Double-Edge recoil, as well as outright OHKOs from powerful attacks: Double-Edge from non-Choice Band Aipom and Castform, for example, and Aerial Ace from Choice Band Delibird. Return can be used over Double-Edge to help Pidgeotto stay healthy, but it will be harder to get targets into KO range. STAB Quick Attack revenge kills faster Pokemon such as Aipom, Elekid, and Delibird. Hidden Power Fighting can threaten Pokemon that don't mind Pidgeotto's STAB combination such as Rhyhorn, bulky Magnemite, and specially defensive Lileep. Steel Wing can be used to ease prediction versus Shuppet, or if you are using Hidden Power Flying over Aerial Ace for the power. Here, Steel Wing lets Pidgeotto still threaten Rock-types like specially defensive Lileep and Nosepass. However, without a super effective Hidden Power, Pidgeotto cannot threaten to 2HKO Steel-Types such as bulky Magnemite.

Pidgeotto fits very well on balance and offense teams as a wallbreaker. It can remove Pokemon such as Delcatty, Dustox, and Bayleef, which can open up teammates such as Elekid, Staryu, and Rhyhorn. Pidgeotto appreciates Spikes support from Snorunt and Pineco, which helps chip Pokemon like Elekid and Aipom into Quick Attack range over time. Spikes also allows Pidgeotto to 2HKO Pokemon it normally can't like bulky Rhyhorn. Special walls such as Chinchou and Delcatty are excellent checks to faster special attackers such as Elekid and Staryu, with Delcatty also offering cleric support if Pidgeotto gets burned by Pokemon such as Koffing. Rock-Types such as Rhyhorn and Nosepass can switch into Aipom and Taillow's STAB moves as they try to revenge kill Pidgeotto. Nosepass has the added benefit of trapping bulky Magnemite, a common Pidgeotto check. Also, Pidgeotto's Grass resistance also helps Rock-Types versus Pokemon such as Bayleef and Butterfree. Special attackers such as Elekid and Spoink can remove physical walls such as Rhyhorn, bulky Magnemite, and Koffing, which allows Pidgeotto to use its STAB moves without being punished.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Hidden Power Ground can be used to OHKO Magnemite and hit Shuppet, unlike Hidden Power Fighting. However, Hidden Power Ground cannot hit Lileep for significant damage, which can be problematic for Pidgeotto. Hidden Power Flying hits harder than Aerial Ace, but Pidgeotto must then use Steel Wing as coverage, meaning it cannot threaten Pokemon such as bulky Magnemite for a 2HKO.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Koffing can switch into Pidgeotto locked into the wrong move and force it out. Most notably, bulky Rhyhorn, physically defensive Lileep, and Nosepass are not fazed by Pidgeotto's STAB combination or 2HKOed by its coverage, significantly reducing Pidgeotto's offensive presence. Lileep also has Recover to continuously counter Pidgeotto, while Rhyhorn can be problematic for Pidgeotto's team if Pidgeotto gives it a free turn of setup. Physically bulky Steel-Types such as bulky Magnemite and Aron don't mind Pidgeotto's STAB combination either, but they must be wary of a super effective Hidden Power.

**Electric-Types**: Some Electric-Types such as Elekid outspeed Pidgeotto and can OHKO it with Thunderbolt; others such as Chinchou can come in and KO Pidgeotto if it's is locked into Aerial Ace. Magnemite resists both STAB types and threatens Pidgeotto with Thunderbolt, although it must be wary of a super effective Hidden Power.

**Shuppet**: Shuppet is immune to Double-Edge and Hidden Power Fighting, letting it completely stop Pidgeotto with a good prediction

**Faster Attackers**: Faster attackers such as Aipom, Elekid, Tailow, and Staryu can all outspeed Pidgeotto and threaten it with strong attacks, although they must be careful to avoid getting chipped down into Quick Attack range.

Paragraph 1:
Pidgeotto stands out as a great Physical Wallbreaker in the tier thanks to its great STAB's moves in Double Edge and Aerial Ace and good speed tier at 71, outpacing mons such as Butterfree, Castform, Chinchou and Mankey. 60 Atk allows Pidgeotto to hit hard with a Choice Band as its item Fluff allowing it to 2hko strong physical walls such as Koffing and Bayleef. Aerial Ace allows Pidgeotto to hit mons such as Dustox, Bayleef and Sunflora for super-effective damage. fluff, we know what stab moves are for Hidden Power [Fighting] is able to hit mons that resist Pidgeotto's stab combination such as Nosepass, Rhyhorn, Aron, Magnemite, Larvitar, and Lileep Just mention 3 here no need to mention every stab resist. lileep doesn't resist flying, so reword this Quick Attack also serves as a useful STAB priority move that allows Pidgeotto to revenge kill faster weakened Pokemon mons such as Aipom, Elekid and Delibird move this before hidden power, explanations should be given in the same order as in the set once they have been brought into range. Pidgeotto faces competition from another Normal/Flying, Tailow, who has a better speed tier at 85 allowing it to speed tie with Aipom and Staryu and outspeed Delibird and Pidgeotto itself with a useful ability in Gut's which can allow it to absorb status on mons such as Koffing on a predict. This is a Pidgeotto analysis, not a Taliow one However, Pidgeotto has a better base Atk stat at 60 and better bulk which most notably allows it to take hits from Non-Choice Banded Aipom and Castform, which it can then hit with Hidden Power [Fighting], and an Aerial Ace from Banded Delibird. Pidgeotto's flying typing also means it doesn't have to worry about Spikes putting it in range of these attacks. fluff Return is notable for allowing Pidgeotto to keep its natural bulk for these attacks, however, you fail to 2hko Koffing without Double Edge, move this right after Double-Edge explanations so be wary of that. you have to explain what Steel Wing is for and how to pick between it and Hidden Power.

The part about what sets pidgeotto apart from tailow should be right after the first sentence. it is also fine to say what pidegotto does worse, but it should stay short.

Paragraph 2:
Pidgeotto fits very well on Balance and Offensive teams, where it can use its great offensive prowess to help break down the opposing team. Grimer appreicates Pidgeotto's ground immunity vs mons such as Cubone and Rhyhorn, although it has to be careful of Rock Slide on both of these mons. This implies Pidgeotto can switch in to Cubone or Rhyhorn which is never the case. Pidgeotto also appreciates the spikes support that Snorunt can give, allowing mons like Elekid and Aipom to be chipped over time and put into Quick Attack Range. Spikes also allows Pidgeotto to 2HKO mons it normally wouldn't be able to, like bulky Rhyhorn. Rhyhorn is also an excellent check to Elekid as it is immune to Electric moves, and lure sets can get rid of Elekid's who that may think they can OHKO Rhyhorn with Hidden Power [Grass], opening up Pidgeotto more in a game with the added bonus of also resisting Aipom's normal stab STAB moves, allowing it to check Aipom who can also be problematic for Pidgeotto. this sentence is too long Rhyhorn also appreciates Pidgeotto's Grass Resistance, which can help Rhyhorn versus mons such as Bayleef and Butterfree. try to make it shorter on the synergy between both Rhyhorn and Pidgeotto Analysis aren't an exhaustive descriptions of everything about the Pokemon. Chinchou also pairs well due to a Electric + Ice Resistance which can help with Elekid and Staryu. Pidgeotto also appreciates having Delcatty as a team member, as Delcatty can deal with Elekid and Staryu well and Heal Bell support can remove burns from mons such as Koffing. Lastly, Nosepass is another mon who can check Aipom and potentially cripple it with paralysis, allowing Pidgeotto to outspeed while also trapping Magnemite, a common Pidgeotto check. you should prioritize grouping teammates into sections, like how Rhyhorn and Nosepass could both fit into "Rock-types that check Aipom".

Mention Snorunt and Pineco as Spikes users specifically.
Mention what Pidgeotto can do in return for some of its teammates such as "Pidgeotto can remove Pokemon that threaten Lileep such as..."

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Hidden Power [Ground] can be used to OHKO Magnemite and unlike Hidden Power [Fighting], hit Shuppet unlike Hidden Power Fighting does not switch in on it. However, Hidden Power [Ground] cannot hit Lileep for significant damage, which can be problematic for Pidgeotto.

Mention Hidden Power [Flying] over Aerial Ace but talk about why it's generally outclassed

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rock Types**: Rock Types such as Rhyhorn, Nosepass, Lileep and Larvitar resist Pidgeottos Normal/Flying stab combo (except Lileep who doesn't take much damage from Aerial Ace) and can hit it super effectively with their STAB, although they must be careful of Hidden Power [Fighting] on a switch.

**Electric Types**: Electric Types such as Elekid outspeed Pidgeotto and can OHKO it with Thunderbolt, other electrics such Chinchou resist Pidgeotto's flying stab and can come in against it if it is locked into it, and Magnemite is able to resist both stabs and threaten with Thunderbolt, although it must be careful of Hidden Power [Fighting].

**Shuppet**: Shuppet is immune to Double Edge and Hidden Power [Fighting] meaning that on a well timed predict, you can completely stop Pidgeotto in its tracks.

**Faster Attackers**: Aipom, Elekid, Tailow, and Staryu are all able to threaten Pidgeotto with strong attacks, although they must be careful that they are not chipped down into Quick Attack range.

Instead of mentioning Rock-types mention physical walls like Lileep, Koffing, and Nosepass

Pidgeotto stands out as a great Physical Wallbreaker in the tier thanks to its great STAB moves in Double Edge and Aerial Ace allowing it to 2hko strong physical common walls such as Koffing Dustox, Delacatty, 248/252+ Koffing with Leftovers is only 2HKOed 28.9% of the time from Double Edge, Pidgeotto cannot reliably 2HKO it. Additionally, besides Bayleef, it's very hard to find good physical walls that are 2HKOed Pidgeotto's STABs, given that they're often given this role to handle powerful Normal- and Flying-type moves. Its STABs still reliably 2HKO most Special walls however, so I gave some examples of them. and Bayleef and good speed tier outpacing mons such as Butterfree, Castform and Chinchou. Pidgeotto faces competition from another Normal/Flying, Taillow, who has a better speed tier and a useful ability in Gut's. However, Pidgeotto has a better base Atk stat and better bulk which most notably allows it to avoid being OHKOed by walls such as Dustox and Delacatty after Double Edge recoil, Pidgeotto's ability to avoid this from defensive Pokemon's attacks is very relevant take hits and avoid being OHKOed by powerful attacks such as Double Edge The number of hits and moves should be specified, as the original wording implied Pidgeotto could take multiple hits from these threats, which generally isn't the case, and Castform has coverage that OHKOes from Non-Choice Banded Aipom and Castform, which it can then threaten with Hidden Power [Fighting], Fluff and an Aerial Ace from Banded Delibird. Quick Attack also serves as a useful STAB priority move that allows Pidgeotto to revenge kill faster pokemon such as Aipom, Elekid and Delibird. Hidden Power [Fighting] is able to threaten pokemon that don't mind care for "don't care for" implies dislike Pidgeotto's stab combination such as Rhyhorn, Bulky Magnemite, Magnemite without HP investment is 2HKOed by Return and Specially Defensive Lileep. Physically Defensive Lileep isn't 2HKOed and can Recover Return is notable for can be used over Double Edge, allowing Pidgeotto to keep its natural bulk intact, however you fail to 2hko Koffing without Double Edge stay healthy while using it's Normal STAB, though it is harder to get targets into KO range due to its lower power. There aren't any notable instances where the lower power makes an mu substantially worse besides 252 HP Butterfree (75% OHKO to never) and Bulky Chinchou (100% OHKO to ~43%), and neither are close to Return switch-ins. Additionally, move this sentence to be before the one explaining Quick Attack. Steel Wing can be used to ease perdiction versus Shuppet or if you are using Hidden Power [Flying] for the higher base power and threatens Rock-types such as Specially-Defensive Lileep, Rhyhorn and Shuppet Nosepass, Shuppet ought to be mentioned separately since Pidgeotto does not need coverage to hit it but Steel Wing without a super effective Hidden Power Pidgeotto cannot threaten to 2HKO Steel-types such as Bulky Magnemite for significant damage.

Pidgeotto fits very well on Balance and Offensive teams, where it can use its great offensive prowess to help break down the opposing team. Pidgeotto is able to remove Pokemon such as Lileep, Rhyhorn and Magnemite Mention other threats here, as these are generally considered Pidgeotto checks, and adjust the list at the end of the sentence as necessary which can open up teammates such as Elekid, Butterfree and Grimer. Pidgeotto appreciates the spikes support that Snorunt and Pineco can give, allowing mons like Elekid and Aipom to be chipped over time and put into Quick Attack Range. Spikes also allows Pidgeotto to 2HKO pokemon it normally wouldn't be able to, like bulky Rhyhorn. Special walls such as Chinchou and Delcatty are excellent checks to faster Special attackers such as Elekid and Staryu, with Delcatty also offering cleric support for Pidgeotto to heal burns from mons such as Koffing. Rhyhorn can also run lure sets can to get rid of Elekid that think they can OHKO Rhyhorn with Hidden Power [Grass] fluff, opening up Pidgeotto more in a game. Rock Types such as Rhyhorn and Nosepass also resist Taillow and Aipom's STABs, allowing it to keep Aipom in check for making Pidgeotto harder to revenge kill. Taillow is another very important bad mu the Rocks keep in check. Revenge killing should be specified, as these threats are rarely able to switch in. Additionally, move this sentence to before the previous one. Nosepass has the added benefit of trapping being able to trap and remove Bulky Magnemite, a common Pidgeotto check. Pidgeotto's Grass Resistance also helps rock types versus mons such as Bayleef and Butterfree.

Mention how Special Attackers can remove physical walls, allowing Pidgeotto to freely use it's powerful Normal STAB

Hidden Power [Ground] can be used to OHKO Magnemite and hit Shuppet unlike Hidden Power [Fighting]. However, Hidden Power [Ground] cannot hit Lileep for significant damage, which can be problematic for Pidgeotto.

Hidden Power [Flying] hits harder then Pidgeotto's usual flying stab, but you miss out on Hidden Power [Fighting] it now must use Steel Wing as coverage, meaning you cannot threaten mons such as Bulky Magnemite for significant damage with a 2HKO.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Walls**: Physical Walls such as Koffing, Lileep and Nosepass can switch into Pidgeotto locked into the wrong move and threaten it out.

This description should be more specific- specify how Rock- and Steel-types resist both of Pidgeotto's STABs, significantly restricting its offensive presence. Also give special emphasis to Lileep, Nosepass, and Rhyhorn, state that they have sets Pidgeotto cannot 2HKO with its coverage, and mention that the former has Recover to stay healthy and the latter can threaten Pidgeotto's team if let in for free.

**Electric Types**: Electric Types such as Elekid outspeed Pidgeotto and can OHKO it with Thunderbolt, other electrics such Chinchou resist Pidgeotto's flying stab and can come in against it if it is locked into it, and Magnemite is able to resist both stabs and threaten with Thunderbolt, although it must be careful weary of a super effective Hidden Power.
