Hey there! Time for the second tournament of the year that gives points towards the 1v1 Circuit: the first edition of 1v1 Swiss!

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the SV 1v1 ladder on the main server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found by using '/tier 1v1' on that server.
  • Each matchup will be held as a best of five.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on main server or smogtours.
  • REPLAYS ARE REQUIRED. Winposts without all replays posted will be voided.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only. Extensions will not be given.
  • This tournament will have seven rounds of Swiss pairings. Losing three times will make it mathematically impossible for you to make top cut, so you will no longer be paired once you hit that threshold.

tournament update

After discussion with TDs, since we had two drops, which made our numbers better, we will be doing a 24 person top cut, which means 5-2 will guarantee you into top cut. The top 8 players by record / resistance will be given a bye, while 9-24 will be matched up against each other.
