Concerning Substitutions: At any point in time during the week, a team may make a substitution for an inactive player. In order to do this, a manager must post in the thread, tagging the hosts, the opposing managers and the opposing player stating which player is substituting out, and which player is substituting in. A player that has substituted out for a week cannot be substituted back in. In addition, in order to catch any attempts at garnering favorable matchups (where the lineup you choose affects pairings), all substitutions are subject to veto by the hosts if the substitution is suspected to be attempting to “game” the system.

Monopoke additionally does not count for Weekly Standings, its purely a for-fun slot. I'll update the players for slots when they get chosen, for those without players immediately.

SS Bo7: crucify vs Tricking (crucify's undefeated and his prep has been immaculate, he got lucky last week dodging blanched but he's certainly a step up from tricking here and I think it'll show. I can't imagine him losing to zio's teams regardless)
SS Bo5: Maki vs DannyDoritos (maki's been doing spectacularly this pl, and while it was in BW he's no slouch at piloting crucify's teams. Danny has been pretty radio silent, last I heard, so I don't expect him to be able to beat a prepped maki here. both are my friends though, so gl both)
SS Bo5: D2TheW vs zio (this isn't zio's tour, and while D2 has been doing well in ssnl I don't necessarily think he enjoys being out of monopoke this pl. I'll label it a toss-up, as either player winning wouldn't surprise me)
SM Bo5: Felucia vs Satanic Beast (lmni getting subbed for felu here makes sense as she's been underperforming, but I don't think felu will be able to beat edgar in any instance.)
SM Bo5: Squirtell 1v1 vs Freddy Kyogre (squirtell's been doing fine this tour, not spectacularly but putting up a fight every series and taking down some big names. outside of 3-0ing joker w1, freddy hasn't done anything to make me think he'll win this)
ORAS Bo5: LRXC vs DezShizzels (dez is 3-1 in style, losing only to xsc, whereas something about the scolipedes oldgens make me feel the need to bold against him. rooting for lrxc here and he might take it if he gets in gear but I expect dez to win handily)

SS Bo5: Close vs Murman0064 - Similar to above, except it becomes harder for Murman since they'll be expecting jank stuff from him, AND his opponent is high level coinflipper Close.

SM Bo5: Kentari vs Elo Bandit - El Bandito is in. If someone's quality checking the stuff he builds for himself, he'll have a shot, though Kentari is an uphill battle either way.

I think with some calculated prep that accounts for the kind of mons XSC likes to use, he should have the edge here, though of course anything is possible when your opponent is XSC.
