Porygon Z can do things but tbh so can every setup mon. Porygon-Z can only run Z-Conversion and remain viable, and running like specs or scarf or whatever tf it used to run makes it outclassed in every way by better specs and scarf users. scarf lele, scarf chomp, scarf keld, scarf most offensive...

tbh Mega Medi is probably one of the biggest things in the metagame now. Koko + Mega Medi is one of the best offensive cores in the game. Tpunch in electric terrain messes all the fat teams up and makes them wish they had a gym membership. 252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Thunder Punch vs...

The problem with throwing a knock off here and there is that for some of the more prominent Z-Crystal users ala DD Flyinium Z Lando T or Z-Fly Mence, almost never would they stay in against Weavile. This could be alleviated with Pursuit on Weavile, but that mean's you'd have to take off either...

SM OU M.A.S.T.E.R - A SM OU Mega Alakazam Offense Team (1400+)

Mega Alakazam's Squad of Terrific and Extraordinary Rascals ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the ORAS Metagame was coming to a close, I started developing a liking to Mega Alakazam. I felt that he was fully...

    Project Victim of the Week

Nominating Clefable as a Check Clefable @ Leftovers Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature - Moonblast - Heal Bell - Wish - Protect Clefable, while not being able to switch into Crawdaunt due to being double Crabhammer'd, Clefable can take a Crabhammer and OHKO back...

I agree with Manaphy to A+. Stall / Defense is one of the 3 most basic types of team. Any poke that can completely shut down one of those general styles with nothing more than 2 turns to set up is nothing to be scoffed at. For some stuffs, let me show you examples of Manaphy destroying stall...

I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm not saying Gliscor is a bad Landorus T. I'm saying Landorus-T fits more offensively than Gliscor. Even as I said, Gliscor is an excellent Stallbreaker, and while I forgot about Sub-toxic it's still a role Gliscor can fill efficiently. However, I do think...

While I can agree Gliscor is an amazing stallbreaker, that's the only role Gliscor can successfully fill, and not only that but the amount of roles you can compress with them being executed well are bad. SD Gliscor can do some things but there are significantly better setup sweepers than...

ORAS OU Misfortune: A Shedinja VoltTurn Team (1400+ ELO)

Thank you for this! A lot of information, the team might go through a full redesign lol. Quick question, You said in Togekiss I should replace Mew with her, but then go to say it should be the fairy of choice over Clefable, and then Rotom-Wash saying it benefits from Wish support. Which is it...

ORAS OU Misfortune: A Shedinja VoltTurn Team (1400+ ELO)

Thank you for the suggestions! I'll get onto testing them ASAP. However, I have a question; If I add Specs Rotom, what am I going to do with Mew? Should I change it to the standard Defog set? Should I replace it?

ORAS OU Misfortune: A Shedinja VoltTurn Team (1400+ ELO)

(credit to MBLOCK on deviantart) Hello Smogon! Danceoff from the ladder returns to the forums! This is my RMT for the team I used to get to 1400+ for the first time in OU. Let's look into the team! I know people have used Shedinja to great effect long before I have, but I feel like I can bring...

ORAS OU I Made Tyrantrum Team

How can you have a post with no characters? Slowbro over Starmie. not only would that save you from Lopunny and Empoleon because Double Dance, but Gengar, a common partner, is screwed every way to Sunday because Hippo. I think you should go with Mega Slowbro and drop Mega Saur. With that said...

ORAS OU The Boyzoners: A Hoopa-U Sand Offense Team (peaked 1300)

Thanks for the rate! I'll definately be trying these out, however I have a +SpA nature because I wanna be able to hit Tankchomps harder. Still do tanks.

ORAS OU The Boyzoners: A Hoopa-U Sand Offense Team (peaked 1300)

The Boyzoners With the recent arrival of Hoopa-Unbound in the metagame, I decided I wanted to base a team around it. It utilizes some Sand Offense while also being able to break 3 styles of play. So let's see the team in practice. Again, I decided I wanted to start off with...

ORAS OU Hyper Offense - Spammin' Dark for days

Triple Dark Bitcharp is really ineffective. Of course someone can correct me, but The 3 attacks are situational (Knock Off being the slight exception but ya know megas). Sucker Punch is OP but someone can keep spamming their setup move. Pursuit is useful but most ghosts carry Focus Blast...

Project Pokemon Matchmaking (Closed, Check Post #267)

Let's take a look at fat chomp here. he's a pokemon that is meant to be a lead, setting up SR and giving the Metronome finger to physical attackers. With Endure, it can, well, endure attacks and at 1% if the hax are in your favor can take down a physical attack. Jirachi @ Leftovers Ability...

Ay, Gunk Shot wasn't the first thing on my mind. Sorry. Actually, Hoopa-U counters Clefable more-or-less. Gunk Shot does have a decent chance of missing and Moonblast can screw you over 30 ways to Sunday, but it's not anything gratifyingly dangerous.
