like he showed up in X-Men Apocalypse as this weird Eastern European guy in the 80s who talked in the third person. Then he shows up again in Logan in 2029 with a British accent and talking normally. The real reason is that both of these movies were being produced at the same time and independently from each other. But canonically, it's the same guy. So it's interesting to fill in the blanks of how he got his spot in Logan from Apocalypse. Especially because Logan itself has such an ambiguous setting in terms of what has happened already. I think he has like one line saying he used to do some bad stuff in the past.
