For shinies, it's almost the same. The difference is, you need to input the correct ID/SID (There's some kind of bug in RNG Reporter, you usually have to close RNG Reporter then reopen it for it to search for shiny seeds correctly) and you need to pick the nature and ability you want and you need to check the box for DW (If you want a DW ability) and Ditto parent (If you're using ditto ). This is because for shinies you're searching for an exact PID frame, for nonshinies you're just searching for an IV seed and then you get to choose which frame you want.

When you search for shiny seeds, in the time finder it will tell you what the target PID frame is. So you don't really have to look at frame 8, you can just change the method to Breeding BW right away and attempt to hit your target PID frame. Keep in mind NPCs, you might have to do a calibration step to find your starting PID frame because of them. They usually advance by 2-4 frames. Any other questions or do you think you got it? :)

The IVs aren't supposed to be perfect. Remember with breeding, 3 IVs are inherited.

After you look at frame 8 memorize the IVs from that frame and change the method to Method 5 Breeding BW (In the other VM I messed up and told you the wrong method >.<) and pick your everstone nature. Then press Calculate initial PIDRNG Frame. It's on the right side of the main window. Then generate the frames. Then, right click on one of the frames and choose display parents in search. Enter the parent's IVs and the IVs from frame 8 in the correct spots and then press ok. Now look through the frames and pick one that has your target IVs, nature, ability, and/or gender. That's your target frame. I hope I made more sense this time :S

Then search. Since you don't care about shinyness, just the IVs, you need to widen everything so you can find as many seeds as you can that will get you a seed with good IVs. Once you start finding seeds, start pasting them into RNG Reporter's main window and make the method Method 5 Standard seed. Then hit generate and look at frame 8. Copy down/memorize the IVs and change the method to method 5 PIDRNG and select your everstone nature. Then right click any frame and click display parents in search. Enter the parent's IVs and the IVs from the seed then hit ok. Oh, and then click calculate initial PID RNG frame and re-generate. Then look through the frames until you find one with the right nature ability and gender! Does that make sense? :S

That's easy. Ok, so in the time finder just go to the 4th/5th gen shiny egg finder. Change the method to BW/BW international and choose the everstone nature. Don't check the Ditto Parent box (Even if you are using one) or the DW egg box, only check the inheritance box. Then enter the parent IVs. For nature/ability/gender leave them all at any. Oh, and don't forget the month/year thing. Then enter the target IVs. For min/max frame, make the min 60 and the max like 20000 so you find a lot of seeds. For ID/SID you can enter yours or any random combo.

Hm, alright. Well that'll make the whole process last a LOT longer :P you should get a seed for which you don't have to do any IV advancements. Also, you might not get lost in a new seed.
