Mixed Zekrom is a nightmare to switch into in Ubers! Its STAB combination gives it almost perfect coverage, notably hitting the ever-present Big Three of Yveltal, Necrozma-DM, and Eternatus. Life Orb-boosted Draco Meteor breaks past the physical walls that attempt to check it such as Landorus-T, Buzzwole, and defensive Zygarde. Scale Shot's Speed boost allows Zekrom to outspeed non-Choice Scarf Calyrex-S, making it exceptionally hard to revenge kill. It can even pose a sweeping threat, and teammates such as Marshadow and offensive Groudon can help by overwhelming shared checks in Xerneas, Zygarde-C, and Landorus-T. Pivots such as U-turn Yveltal and Landorus-T can bring Zekrom in safely, with the former serving as the best check to Calyrex-S. Sludge Bomb Eternatus can lure in defensive Xerneas and beat it while also inviting in Necrozma-DM, which Zekrom beats if it does not carry Earthquake. Necrozma-DM is another fantastic partner, checking Xerneas and setting Stealth Rock to weaken foes for Zekrom. Choice Scarf Kyogre helps deal with Ground-type foes and Lunala, while Zekrom can weaken Eternatus for it.
