We haven't had a Speed Tiers thread opened up in XY UU yet, and as far in as we are I think now's a good time to get one going. This thread will be a quick-access list of all Pokemon in the UU Metagame (that includes any in RU and even NU who happen to have analyses) based on the Speed stats of their sets. Creeping is advised against here; if you want to Speed creep something, use this thread as a reference on what you need to creep.

The format is the following:

Speed / Pokemon / Base Speed / Nature (+Spe, -Spe, or Neutral) / EVs / +Boost
Though it is obvious already, Pokemon assumed to be holding a Choice Scarf have a "+1 Boost"

Ex:
380 / Crobat / 130 / +Spe / 200 / 0
This would entail an unboosted Crobat, whose base Speed is 130, using a +Speed Nature and 200 Speed EVs, hits 380 Speed.

Okay...at long last this thread is complete, barring the NU Pokemon viable in UU which I'll add in later. If anybody's got contributions to make regarding non-NU Pokemon that should be on here as well as non-Speed Creep spreads, post 'em here and I'll give a look. I'm pretty sure I may have missed at least one or two somewhere amongst all this.

510 / Crobat / 130 / neutral / 176 / +1

Scarf Crobat :-)

Edit: not trying to suck up to CoolStoryBrobat with this submission lol
That's one I specifically made sure to never put on there...Don't care if King UU used a team successfully or not, Scarf Bat just ain't worth it majority of the times. Unless this trend somehow broke out into wildfire outta nowhere then I'd be forced to since it's meta-relevant...But at the moment...nah.

i use it too~~~~~

it's worth it. especially because people are so fucking confused about its speed tier. i'd also consider putting +2 gorebyss on here

great job though !_!

Still not convinced...And Gorebyss (as well as the other small pool of NU mons viable in UU) is on the chart now. Aside from Scarf Bat, are there any suggestions? And should some kinda thing be made for Sticky Web? Tedious as it seems it'd only take time and the only mons you'd worry about being affected by Sticky Web are generally fast frail attackers anyway so it's not as if I'd be redoing the whole board.

If anything I would have a mention of what speeds certain tiers hits. There is nothing more annoying than trying to work out what the Speed of your Pokemon is under Sticky Web. I'd just focus on the main speed tiers though like Base 80-115 cause everything above 115 commonly seen isnt Grounded and everything below Base 80 is usually not gonna be running Speed/it doesn't really matter what Speed it is hitting cause it's slow as dirt after webs anyway :]

Shouldn't we add +1/+2 Espeon and Adamant +2 Slurpuff?
Well I left neutral nature slurpuff out of the equation since it falls short of Hydreigon if I'm not mistaken, whereas +Spe generally beats all Scarf users. I mean I have no issues about putting it on there, but I just put the one I thought was generally more effective. Also...How is Espeon at +1/+2? I'm guessing +1 is from Choice Scarf, and +2 is from a Shell Smash passed by Gorebyss?

If that's the exact case I might be inclined to omit them...Scarf Espeon because it really lacks solid viability, and +2 Espeon because this'd also mean I'd have to add most other fast sweepers (and even some not-so-fast ones) to account for the offensive portion of the tier that could benefit from a Shell Smash...which is actually almost all of it.

Edit: Also added Stoutland, forgot about that guy...

Hi I just noticed that you've only got offensive versions of Arcanine on here. Defensive Arcanine with 0 Spe is probably an important tier that some offensive Pokemon would like to creep, yeah?

226 / Arcanine / 95 / Neutral / 0 / 0

Do Kyurem ever run 0 Spe, idk but that's also the same tier as 0 Spe Arcanine.

I could see arc being added but kyurem never runs 0 speed. It's speed is one of the things that helps it along with its typing and strong stab

I'm pretty sure Kitten Milk was using 0 speed kyurem on his mixed kyurems just to make it a pain in the arse to switch anything into. Its natural base speed is already enough to severely pressure more defensive teams.

Doesn't Blastoise run a little bit of speed? like somewhere from 20-112?
At one point it was common for it to run enough for it to outpace -1 Victini...But since that's banned now, that spread isn't really relevant anymore, and honestly that speed tier can be real convoluted, to the point that I'd rather just stick to leaving it as is until there's a real definitive benchmark. Because for the most part stuff around Blastoise, Nidoqueen, and Honchkrow's ranges tend to just be full of speed creep.

As of right now, a lot of Machamps are going max speed to hit 209. Running 210 will also allow you to outspeed neutral uninvested base 85s.

To add: As far as Krow goes, you either go for 242 to beat Adamant Krow or 266 to beat Jolly Krow.

Please don't run 266 Speed, I need that jump on players assuming Adamant.

I'd run 243 instead of 242 for speed creeping the creepers. even 244 wouldn't hurt.

Adding in speed creep to the speed tier list is a bit silly - are we going to have an extra 4 tiers above every 0 speed mon for 4, 8, 12, and 16 evs?
Rarely would a M-Blastoise even hit this speed tier, so I wouldn't even mention it to begin with. I was just trying to help him out with a spread.

He did only say he'd RUN 243. Officially, we list hard-and-fast values. And to be fair, this is the guy who made that janky-ass BU/Taunt Krookodile set who did creep up to around 244 to beat players creeping on Adamant Krow.

That all being said, I think listing 242 on Blastoise to officially beat Honchkrow is a good benchmark.

EDIT: Hey man, don't hate speedy Blastoise.

Can we get a listing on max Spd Timid/Jolly M-Zam/M-Aero? I know they aren't as common as the other sets, but It would be nice to see where they line up at a glance when considering scarfers.
