[OVERVIEW]
Fire
========
*Torkoal’s ability to bring hazard control, Drought and a high Defense stat to the table make it important to Fire-type teams.
*Torkoal's great physical bulk and access to Stealth Rock make it Fire-type teams premiere option as both a Stealth Rock Setter and switch-in to physical attackers such as Heracross and Tapu Bulu.
*Drought offers great support for the team as it weakens Water-type moves while increasing Fire-type attacks. It also allows Fire teams to run Mega Charizard X without giving up reliable sun setup.
*Torkoal can pressure opposing Pokemon by fishing for burns with Lava Plume as well as threatening sleep and forcing switches with Yawn.
*Its typing leaves a lot to be desired as it doesn’t gain any new resistances for Fire-type teams, and leaves it weak to common Ground-, Rock-, and Water-type attacks along with a Stealth Rock weakness.
*A middling Special Defense leaves it vulnerable to special attackers such as Latios and Tapu Koko.
*Since it does not have access to reliable recovery, Torkoal has a hard time switching in to remove hazards throughout the battle and is forced to run Leftovers if it wants any sustain.
*Torkoal's low natural Speed means it will almost never move first, leaving it vulnerable to Taunt from faster pokemon such as Deoxys-Speed and Tapu Koko.
*Torkoal’s weakness to stealth rock along with not having reliable recovery, make it hard to keep healthy.
*A shallow and predictable movepool make it incredibly easy to counter with stallbreakers such as Mew and Heatran.
* Torkoal has little to no offensive presence, forcing it to heavily rely on getting burns with Lava Plume or forcing sleep and switches with Yawn.

Moves
========

*Rapid Spin allows Torkoal to clear entry hazards, namely Stealth Rock, which could otherwise severely cripple Fire's offensive presence throughout a match.
*Lava Plume is Torkoal's only attacking option that provides the opportunity to fish for burns.
*Yawn forces opponents to choose between switching or losing a Pokemon to sleep for an extended duration.
*Stealth Rock allows torkoal to break sashes and Sturdy on the opposing teams, while also pressuring opposing teams through chip damage.

Set Details
========

*248 HP and maximum defense investment alongside a Bold nature gives Torkoal excellent physical bulk to set hazards, while the odd HP stat allows Torkoal to switch into Stealth Rock an extra time.
*Drought allows Torkoal to weaken Water-type moves, boost Fire-type moves and support the overall team with reliable automatic sun. Drought also disrupts weather teams like sand and rain. This is important because in rain, both Kingdra and Mega Swampert outspeed everything on Fire-teams and ravage it with rain boosted Water-type moves. On sand teams Excadrill can also outspeed and lay waste with STAB moves and rockslide coverage.
*Leftovers gives a form of passive recovery to Torkoal that it would otherwise lack. Teams with Mega Charizard Y usually are better off running Leftovers due to the team having another reliable sun setter.
*Heat Rock to increase sun turns to eight. Mega Charizard X teams appreciate the extra amount of sun due to not having any other reliable sun setter.
Usage Tips
========

*Try to only bring in Torkoal on physical attackers such as Mega Gallade or Tapu Bulu to have the best chance of clearing and setting stealth rocks
* Torkoal should be brought in consistently in order to fully utilize Drought and keep pressure on opposing Water-types.
* Leading with Torkoal in weather matchups such as rain and sand can provide instant momentum for the Fire team thanks to Torkoal's extremely low Speed stat making Drought go up after the opposing weather.
*Don't let Torkoal suffer any unnecessary hits unless it's absolutely needed, as it has no reliable way to recover.
*Torkoal is best used early game to set up stealth rock, causing the opponent team to take as much damage from stealth rock throughout the game as possible. Avoid leading with Torkoal when the opposing team has a Magic Bounce users like Mega Sableye and Mega Diancie as Torkoal is a very common lead and is shut down by them.
*If its safe to do so, try to always send in Torkoal while Stealth Rocks is being set, to avoiding taking the Stealth Rock damage.
*Avoid pokemon that regularly carry toxic such as Chansey as they put Torkoal on a timer and let’s it easily be stalled out.
* Avoid special attacks at all times as they can quickly wear down Torkoal and possibly OHKO it.
*Once stealth rocks are set and hazards removed, try to spam yawn to pressure the opponent into choosing between letting a Pokemon get induced with sleep or switching out.
*Yawning also nearly guarantees the opposing pokemon to switch, giving Torkoals teammates a relatively safe way to switch in. This also gives Fire great momentum because it basically gives one of your setup Pokemon a free turn of setup unless the opponent switches.
*If Torkoal is very low on health or just not usable anymore in a match, switching in Torkoal to sack on an attack, gives your team momentum plus allows you to have as many turns of suns as possible for your team to abuse

Team Options
========

*Volcarona appreciates Stealth Rock not taking half of its HP away while also being able to benefit from any potential burns or sleeping pokemon to set up easier. The sun provided by Torkoal also bolsters Volcarona’s Fire-type moves even more.
*Mega Charizard X appreciates having Stealth Rock set on an opposing team to break Sashes and Sturdy to help it sweep with Dragon Dance boosted attacks. Torkoal’s Rapid Spin also allows Charizard to come in with as much HP as possible to help it set up Dragon Dances. Pressure from Yawn provided by Torkoal will usually cause the opposing pokemon to switch-out allowing Charizard to switch in safely, or get a free turn to set up Dragon Dance if the opponent decides to stay in.
*Infernape with U-turn helps bring in Torkoal safely throughout a match. This is important because it allows Torkoal to not take unnecessary damage since has no recovery options outside of Leftovers.
*Rotom-H provides a solid Ground immunity while also making a good defensive core with Torkoal as Rotom has good a Special Defense stat. Rotom can also set dual screens to help support the team.
*Marowak-A provides a good switch in to Electric-type attacks with Lightning Rod. This is important because Torkoal has a hard time taking strong Electric-type attacks from Tapu Koko and Alolan Raichu. Stealth Rocks on Torkoal also allows Marowak to run a fourth move like Swords Dance and Knock Off.
*Victini with a choice scarf provides another strong U-turn to bring Torkoal safely in. Victini’s V-Create also appreciates the sun set by Torkoal allowing it to 2HKO some of the tiers bulkiest Pokemon like Porygon2 and Mandibuzz. Victini also brings strong Electric-type coverage in Bolt Strike, hitting bulky water types likes Toxapex and Slowbro that Fire teams often struggle with.
*Heatran with Air Balloon provides a nice temporary Ground immunity while also providing a Rock-type neutrality for Torkoal to switch into. A Rock neutrality is important because it stops Choice Scarf pokemon like Nihilego and Excadrill from plowing through Fire teams with Power gem and Rock Slide.
*Volcanion is a great switch in for Torkoal since Water Absorb gives Volcanion a Water-type attack immunity. Volcanion also has the added benefit of being able to take out Ground- and Rock-type pokemon that give Torkoal a hard time with STAB boosted Steam Eruptions.
*Mega Charizard Y provides another great Ground immunity along with being able to auto set sun. Charizard can also take on opposing weather setters like Pelipper, Tyranitar and Hippowdon with strong Solar Beam attacks.
*Entei appreciates having Stealth Rock to help it further in cleaning off weakened teams with Extremespeed. Sacred Fire boosted by sun turns Entei into a fearsome wallbreaker allowing it to muscle past some Pokemon like Chansey and Defensive Staraptor.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Fire
--------
*SolarBeam can be used over Yawn to further help the Water- and Ground-type match ups, specifically hitting Swampert and Hippowdon. Yawn is usually better because of being to stop set up sweepers like double dance Landorus-T and Belly Drum Azumarill.
*Toxic can be used over yawn to put pressure on opposing Pokemon especially hazard setters, removers, and walls, though losing the ability to phase out the opposing team and get chip damage through Stealth Rocks is usually much better.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Strong Special attackers**: Torkoals lackluster special defense leaves it open to take significant damage or being KO’d by strong special attackers like Latios or Tapu Koko
**Heatran**: Heatran can absorb Lava Plume and force Torkoal to switch out or risk taking an Earth Power for massive damage. Heatran can easily set Stealth Rock on Torkoal for these reasons.
**Mega Diancie**: Diancie takes anything Torkoal throws out and KO’s Torkoal or deals massive damage to anything coming in.
**Ground-types**: Ground-type Pokemon like Gastrodon and Garchomp put a lot of pressure on Torkoal as they deal massive damage with their STAB moves, while Torkoal can only hope to burn and induce sleep.
**Water-types**: Water-type Pokemon resist Lava Plume and are still able to do decent damage with their STAB moves under the sun. If sun is gone pokemon like Greninja and Kingdra KO it easily.
**Dragon-types** Dragon Pokemon like latios and hydreigon resist Lava Plume and can KO Torkoal with Draco Meteor or deal massive damage with their coverage moves.
**Rock-types**: Rock-type pokemon Nihilego heavily threaten Torkoal being able to resist Lava plume and KO Back, physical Rock-types like Tyranitar should be weary of burns though.
**Substitute Sweepers**:Lacking strong offensive pressure and abysmal speed leaves Torkoal to be easy bait for substitute users that carry boosting moves such as Dragon Dance Mega Gyarados and Sub Calm Mind Keldeo.

There's a general lack of detail here by just glancing at it in the overview, moves, usage tips, team options.
Also I know it's a skeleton right now, but we want complete sentences not ideas it makes your job and the person who does QC 3/3's job a lot easier
If you need reference for how much detail you need for skeleton look at these 2 analyses #1 #2

Ok added more details to the overview, moves, sets ,usage tips, and included Volcanion and heatran as the only viable fire mons left that I didn't mention. I think I patched up the sentence problem as well Grammar has always been weakest point in america, sorry thanks for the references they definitely helped! go ahead and let me know if even more details are needed or if i screwed anything else up

[OVERVIEW]
Fire
========

*Torkoal is the most reliable form of hazard control in on fire teams with access to Rapid Spin making it the cornerstone of all viable Fire-type teams regardless of the playstyle.

*Torkoals mono Fire-typing leaves a lot to be desired as it doesn’t gain any new resistances for Fire-teams, though while sun is up it gains a pseudo neutrality to Water-type attacks Water-type attacks are weakened.

*Torkoals access to drought halts weather abusers from running through Fire-type teams with strong water and ground moves. While weakening Water-type moves and increasing the power of Fire-type moves.

*Access to Lava Plume pressures physical attackers with the chance of being burned, while yawn just pressure teams in general with the threat of having a Pokemon be put to sleep. talk about yawn and lava plume separately and give examples of when each would be used.

*Torkoals great defense and passable HP makes it the premier stealth rock setter as its great physical bulk allows it to set hazards on a myriad of physical based pokemon. Torkoal's great natural physical bulk and access to Stealth Rock make it Fire-type teams premiere option as a Stealth Rock setter.

*middling Special Defense leaves it vulnerable to special attacks that aren’t resisted Due to Torkoal's low natural Special Defense it has a hard time living strong special attacks such as Choice Specs Draco Meteor from Hydreigon.

*Torkoals lack of reliable recovery limits how long Torkoal can support the team Since Torkoal does not have access to reliable recovery Torkoal has a hard time switching in to remove hazards throughout the battle.

*Torkoals abysmal Speed means it will almost always have to take damage to do its job while also leaving it susceptible to taunt and sub set up sweepers Torkoal's low natural Speed means it will almost never move first, leaving it vulnerable to Taunt from faster pokemon such as Deoxys-Speed and Tapu Koko.

*Mono Fire-typing leaves Torkoal weak to stealth rock, taking a quarter of it’s health everytime it switches in on them making Torkoal that much harder to sustain throughout a match reword this

*Torkoal almost always runs the same support moves making Torkoal very predictable and easy to play around reword this also start with, Torkoal has a four-moveslot syndrome

Moves
========

*Rapid Spin allows makes Torkoal to be a key pokemon in on Fire-type teams due to it being able spin away hazards which severely hinder heavily chip Fire-types each time they switch in.

*Lava Plume is Torkoal's only significant damage dealing move. Lava Plume puts pressure on offensive threats with the chance for a burn, while also allowing Torkoal to not be completely shut down but taunt users. reword this bullet and also talk about how lava plume being its only offensive move can easily be taken advantage of and give an example with that.

*Yawn allows Torkoal to phase around the opposing team and rack up chip damage for the team forces switches, chipping the opponents team each time they switch in. Yawn also allows Torkoal to deter set up sweepers that don't mind a burn or are just willing to risk a burn. reword this sentence

*Stealth Rock allows Torkoal to break the opposing teams Focus Sash and Multiscale users on the opposing team, while also pressuring types that are naturally weak to Stealth Rock like Flying-, Ice- and other Fire-type teams.

Set Details
========

*248 HP and maximum Defense investment gives maximizing Torkoal's the best physical bulk, possible which allow it to set hazards with ease. Torkoal to take a rounded down amount of Stealth Rock damage, allowing it to switch into Stealth Rocks 5 times instead of 4 The HP investment allows Torkoal to switch into Stealth Rock 5 times rather than 4.

*Drought allows Torkoal to weaken Water-type moves, boost Fire-type moves and support the overall team with reliable automatic sun. Drought also disrupts weather teams like Sand and Rain. provide examples

*Heat Rock to increase sun to 8 turns allowing for 3 extra turns for the team to abuse sun boosted fire moves and weakened Water-type moves. Leftovers allows Torkoal some form of passive recovery to help sustain it a bit throughout a match. Talk about how using Heat Rock on teams with Mega Charizard X is more crucial than teams with Mega Charizard Y.

*Bold nature and zero attack IVs ensure Torkoal take as little damage as possible from confusion and Foul Play while also not lowering the damage output of Lava Plume.

Usage Tips
========

*Try to only bring in Torkoal on physical attackers or weak Utility Mons to have the best chance of clearing and setting stealth rocks reword and give examples

*Try to save Torkoal until after the opposing hazard setter or Rapid Spin Pokemon has been defeated or has no chance of resetting or removing hazards such as it being too low on health to live any hit this to something more like Torkoal is best saved to set hazards once.... reword and give examples.

*Preserve Torkoal in the sand and rain match ups to disrupt weather so that the team isn't ravaged by strong Water- and Ground-type moves from Kingdra and Excadrill. reword and give examples of how Torkoal can be used in those match ups.

*Don't let Torkoal suffer any unnecessary hits unless it's absolutely needed, no reliable way to recover hp means damage done to Torkoal is there to stay reword and give an example

*Torkoal is best used early game to set up stealth rock, causing the opponent team to take as much damage from stealth rock throughout the game as possible reword and give examples of when not to lead Torkoal.

*If its safe to do so, try to always send in Torkoal as rocks while Stealth Rock are is being setup, to avoiding taking the Stealth Rock damage. give an example

*Avoid pokemon that regular carry toxic as they put Torkoal on a timer and let’s it easily be stalled out reword and talk about how Torkoal should try to avoid any chip damage to keep it healthy to remove hazards throughout the battle and give an example.

*Once stealth rocks are set and hazards removed, try to spam yawn to get chip damage on as many opposing Pokemon as possible until the opponent is forced to let a Pokemon fall to sleep reword this to say something more like, Once hazards are up Torkoal can spam Yawn to chip the opposing teams

*Yawning also nearly guarantees the opposing pokemon to switch, giving Torkoals teammates a relatively safe way to switch in remove this completely

*If Torkoal is very low on health or just not usable anymore in a match, switching in Torkoal to sack on an attack, gives your team momentum plus allows you to have as many turns of sun as possible for your team to abuse reword this and give examples.

Team Options
========

*Set up sweepers such as Mega Chariard X an Volcarona both appreciate not having stealth rock take half of there HP while also making it easier for them to sweep. They also appreciate the stealth rocks Torkoal can lay for them, making opposing teams easier to sweep talk about Char X and Volcarona on different bulletins as they do completely different things

*Torkoal appreciates Pivoting pokemon such as Infernape and Rotom-H that can bring it in safely throughout a match, helping sustain Torkoal reword this and make sure the bullet starts with the pokemon that helps Torkoal out on all bullets.

*Chandelure helps clear ghost types that could try and spin block Torkoal, also helping against Sub mons that can do a number on Torkoal with its infiltrator ability
idk if chandelute should be talked about as its irrelevant this gen

*Marowak-A with Stealth Rocks helps Torkoal diminish its very heavy workload by easing torkoals need to set up rocks. say how using torkoal for rocks Marowak can capitalize on that and use more offensive sets such as Swords Dance. Also talk about how Marowak provides a switch in to strong Electric-type attacks that Torkoal can't handle bz of Lightning Rod.

*Choice abusers such as Victini and Darmanitan appreciate the sun provided by Torkoal, allowing them to spam powerful Fire-type moves don't talk about Darmanitan, its not worth using in gen7 also give examples of what Victini can OHKO with the sun boost that it may usually have trouble with.

*Torkoal appreciates Flying or air balloon Pokemon to dodge Ground moves such as Earth Power this really isnt a team option as they have to be pokemon.

*Heatran provided a Rock-type neutrality for Torkoal to switch into, while also helping to patch up Torkoals special attack weakness with its own impressive special bulk. reword & also talk about how heatran can help Torkoal deal with Nihilego and other Rock-type Pokemon.
*Volcanion is great switch in for Water-type pokemon for when sun eventually runs out or is canceled out by drizzle pokemon also talk about bloom doom volcanion being able to take out water, rock and ground type pokemon for Torkoal.

(you are missing a few key teammates such as Mega Charizard Y, Infernape, and Rotom-H)

Fire
--------
*SolarBeam can be used to further help the water- and Ground-type match ups by hitting both types with super effective damage , though outside these match ups it's fairly useless and lackluster Solar Beam should not be used at all.
*Toxic or Will-o-wisp can be used to immediately handicap threats, though losing the ability to phase out the opposing team and get chip damage is usually much better talk about Will-O-Wisp and not Toxic. talk about Will-O-Wisp's pros and cons and what Torkoal misses out on by using them.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Strong Special attackers**: Torkoals lackluster special defense leaves it open to take significant damage or being KO’d by strong special attackers like Latios or Tapu Koko reword and give examples like Tapu Koko, Mega Diancie, Choice Specs Hydreigon etc.

**Substitute Users**: lacking strong offensive pressure and abysmal speed leaves Torkoal to be easy bait for substitute users such as Mega gyarados talk about sub sweepers like Suicune, Gyarados etc

**Mega Sableye**: Mega Sableye shuts down Torkoal almost completely, bouncing back its yawn or even Stealth Rocks. Its ghost typing also meaning that Torkoal can't Spin on it. Torkoal can only try to fish for burns if it decides to stay in. reword this and talk about how Mega Sableye does not appreciate being burned by Lava Plume.

**Mega Diancie**: Much like Sableye Diancie takes anything Torkoal throws out and KO’s Torkoal or deals massive damage to anything coming in move this to the top of the c&c and talk about how it can reflect Stealth Rock and threaten to OHKO Torkoal

**Toxic**: Torkoal longevity gets shortened and is put on a timer. Allowing it to easily be stalled out talk about chip damage in general including hazards

**Rock-types**: Rock-type pokemon heavily threaten Torkoal being able to resist Lava plume and causing heavy damage, physical Rock-types should be weary of burns though reword this and give examples

**Bulky Ground-types**: Bulky Ground-type pokemon like Gastrodon and Gliscor do heavy damage to torkoal while being able to stall it out with toxic and recovery moves reword and give detailed examples.

**Knock Off**: talk about how it does not appreciate losing either Leftovers or the Heat Rock.
Overall this was had not enough detail, was poorly worded even for me (yikes) and missed a lot of examples. check out other analyses for a better example of what to write such as this one. Also remember moves and abilities are always capitalized. check the gp standards because there were to many mistakes. Remember to remove the spacing from my am check.

Fire
========
*Torkoal is the most reliable form of hazard control in fire teams with access to rapid spin making it the cornerstone of all viable Fire-type teams regardless of playstyle Torkoal is important for Fire because it brings hazard control and Drought to the table, the latter allowing Fire teams to run Mega Charizard X without giving up reliable sun setup.
*Torkoals mono Fire typing leaves a lot to be desired as it doesn’t gain any new resistances for Fire-teams, though while sun is up it gains a pseudo neutrality to Water-type attacks Remove this point. The first part isn't really saying anything and the second part can be added in to the next point once it has been reworked.
*Torkoals access to drought halts weather abusers from running through Fire-type teams with strong water and ground moves. While weakening Water-type moves and increasing the power of Fire-type moves Not sure how Torkoal's Drought prevents strong ground moves from running through Fire teams and the bit about water is repetitive. The second sentence is incomplete so try and work it into the first one without being too repetitive again, this is the third time in two points you're referring to drought weakening Water-type attacks.
*Access to Lava Plume pressures physical attackers with the chance of being burned, while yawn just pressure teams in general with the threat of having a Pokemon be put to sleep This point can be reworked to saying that Torkoal can pressure opposing Pokemon by fishing for burns with Lava Plume as well as threatening sleep and forcing switches with Yawn.
*Torkoals great defense and passable HP makes it the premier stealth rock setter as its great physical bulk allows it to set hazards on a myriad of physical based pokemon. This should be the second point. Also mention that Torkoal's high physical bulk makes it Fire's best switch-in to physical attackers
*Tokoals middling Special Defense leaves it vulnerable to special attacks that aren’t resisted It's vulnerable to special attacks in general.
*Torkoals lack of reliable recovery limits how long Torkoal can support the team and forces it to run Leftovers if it wants any sustain
*Torkoals abysmal Speed means it will almost always have to take damage to do its job while also leaving it susceptible to taunt and sub set up sweepers
*Mono Fire-typing leaves Torkoal weak to stealth rock, taking a quarter of it’s health everytime it switches in on them making Torkoal that much harder to sustain throughout a match This could be emphasized a bit. Since Torkoal is Fire's best option for removing hazards and setting sun this makes Torkoal's safety a high priority.
*Torkoal almost always runs the same support moves making Torkoal very predictable and easy to play around It's incredibly easy to counter with stallbreakers.
* Torkoal has little to no offensive presence, forcing it to heavily rely on getting burns with Lava Plume or forcing sleep and switches with Yawn.

*Rapid Spin allows Torkoal to be a key pokemon in fire teams due to it being able spin away hazards that severely hinder Fire-types Rework this. Rapid Spin allows Torkoal to clear entry hazards, namely Stealth Rock, which could otherwise severely cripple Fire's offensive presence throughout a match.
*Lava Plume is Torkoals only significant damage dealing move. Lava Plume puts pressure on offensive threats with the chance for a burn, while also allowing Torkoal to not be completely shut down but taunt users Make this more concise. Lava Plume is Torkoal's only attacking option that provides the opportunity to fish for burns.
*Yawn allows Torkoal to phase around the opposing team and rack up chip damage for the team. Yawn also allows Torkoal to deter set up sweepers that don't mind a burn or are just willing to risk a burn Rework this and make it more concise. Yawn forces opponents to choose between switching or losing a Pokemon to sleep for an extended duration.
*Stealth Rock allows torkoal to break sashes and Sturdy on the opposing team, while also pressuring stealth rock weak types like flying, ice and other fire teams. The second part isn't necessary, change it to say something like 'while also pressuring opposing teams through chip damage.'

Set Details
========

*248 HP and maximum defense investment gives Torkoal the best physical bulk possible to set hazards This is not the best physical bulk possible so change it to excellent physical bulk, while allowing Torkoal to take a rounded down amount of Stealth Rock damage, allowing it to switch into Stealth Rocks 5 times instead of 4 You can shorten this down quite a bit by saying something like 'while the odd HP stat allows Torkoal to switch into Stealth Rock an extra time.'
*Drought allows Torkoal to weaken Water-type moves, boost Fire-type moves and support the overall team with reliable automatic sun. Drought also disrupts weather teams like Sand and Rain Why is it important that Drought can disrupt opposing weather teams? Examples of Pokemon on these weather teams that threaten Fire?
*Heat Rock to increase sun to 8 turns allowing for 3 extra turns for the team to abuse sun boosted fire moves and weakened Water-type moves. Leftovers allows Torkoal some form of passive recovery to help sustain it a bit throughout a match Make Leftovers its own point before Heat Rock. Explain why Leftovers is preferred over Heat Rock, i.e. it provides a form of passive recovery that Torkoal otherwise lacks.
*Bold nature and zero attack IV ensure Torkoal take as little damage as possible from confusion and foul play while also not lowering the damage output of lava plume. You can remove this point entirely. Add in Bold Nature to the first point about physical bulk and you don't need to talk about 0 Atk IVs and Foul Play.

Usage Tips
========

*Try to only bring in Torkoal on physical attackers or weak Utility Mons to have the best chance of clearing and setting stealth rocks
* Torkoal should be brought in consistently in order to fully utilize Drought and keep pressure on opposing Water-types.
*Try to save Torkoal until after the opposing setter or spinner has been defeated or has no chance of resetting or removing hazards such as it being too low on health to live any hit I don't see how this point is either necessary nor true since this would be completely matchup dependent.
*Preserve Torkoal in the sand and rain match ups to disrupt weather so that the team isn't ravaged by strong water- and ground-type moves from Kingdra and Excadrill This can be cut down.
* Leading with Torkoal in weather matchups such as rain and sand can provide instant momentum for the Fire team thanks to Torkoal's extremely low Speed stat making Drought go up after the opposing weather.

*Don't let Torkoal suffer any unnecessary hits unless it's absolutely needed, no reliable way to recover hp means damage done to Torkoal is there to stay Cut off all of the fluff at the end and rework the sentence as such.
*Torkoal is best used early game to set up stealth rock, causing the opponent team to take as much damage from stealth rock throughout the game as possible
*If its safe to do so, try to always send in torkoal as rocks are being set, to avoiding taking the Stealth Rock Damage
*Avoid pokemon that regular carry toxic as they put Torkoal on a timer and let’s it easily be stalled out
* Avoid special attacks at all times as they can quickly wear down Torkoal and possibly OHKO it.
*Once stealth rocks are set and hazards removed, try to spam yawn to get chip damage on as many opposing pokmon as possible until the opponent is forced to let a Pokemon fall to sleep Yawn doesn't get you chip damage, it pressures the opponent into choosing between letting a Pokemon get induced with sleep or switching out.
*Yawning also nearly guarantees the opposing pokemon to switch, giving Torkoals teammates a relatively safe way to switch in This also gives Fire great momentum because it basically gives one of your setup Pokemon a free turn of setup unless the opponent switches.
*If Torkoal is very low on health or just not usable anymore in a match, switching in Torkoal to sack on an attack, gives your team momentum plus allows you to have as many turns of sun as possible for your team to abuse

Team Options
========

*Set up sweepers such as Mega Chariard X an Volcarona both appreciate not having stealth rock take half of there HP while also making it easier for them to sweep. They also appreciate the stealth rocks Torkoal can lay for them, making opposing teams easier to sweep Char X and Volc should have separate points as they do different things. How does Torkoal's support with Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, and Yawn help these Pokemon so much?
*Tokoal appreciates Pivoting pokemon such as Infernape and Rotom-H that can bring it in safely throughout a match, helping sustain Torkoal These Pokemon need to have their own points and information for each. Why is pivoting from these Pokemon so important? What does Rotom-H provide Fire teams specifically?
*Chandelure helps clear ghost types that could try and spin block Torkoal, also helping against Sub mons that can do a number on Torkoal with its infiltrator ability I don't understand the first part since it sounds like you want Chandelure to be your teams answer to Ghost-types, while being weak to Ghost itself.
*Marowak-A with Stealth Rocks helps Torkoal diminish its very heavy workload by easing torkoals need to set up rocks There's pretty much no reason not to run Stealth Rock on Torkoal and Marowak could really use the extra moveslot. What does Marowak do offensively that helps Torkoal? What does Torkoal do defensively that helps support Marowak?
*Choice abusers such as Victini and Darmanitan appreciate the sun provided by Torkoal, allowing them to spam powerful Fire-type moves Both also provide pivoting options which help to maintain Fire's momentum and pressure. What do both Pokemon provide movepool wise that is helpful for Fire?
*Torkoal appreciates Flying or air balloon Pokemon to dodge Ground moves such as Earth Power Unless you're going to name Pokemon this point doesn't work. You need examples.
*Heatran provided a Rock-type neutrality for Torkoal to switch into, while also helping to patch up Torkoals special attack weakness with its own impressive special bulk. Why is the Rock neutrality helpful for Fire and Torkoal? What Pokemon does Heatran help manage?
*Volcanion is great switch in for Water-type pokemon for when sun eventually runs out or is canceled out by drizzle pokemon The second part of this doesn't make much sense since weather rain is up or not has no effect on Volcanion absorbing Water-type attacks. You also aren't really saying why Volcanion is a good teammate other than having Water Absorb.
* Mega Charizard Y
* Entei
* Talonflame

Fire

*SolarBeam can be used to further help the water- and Ground-type match ups by hitting both types with super effective damage , though outside these match ups it's fairly useless and lackluster What would Solar Beam be used over, i.e. Yawn? Why is Yawn generally better than Solar Beam? What Pokemon would Torkoal's Solar Beam be used for specifically, i.e. Hippowdon, Swampert, Gastrodon, etc.
*Toxic or Will-o-wisp can be used to immediately handicap threats, though losing the ability to phase out the opposing team and get chip damage is usually much better Remove Will-O-Wisp. Toxic doesn't handicap threats, it puts pressure on opposing Pokemon especially hazard setters, removers, and walls. Why is Yawn preferred over Toxic?

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
1) **Strong Special attackers**: Torkoals lackluster special defense leaves it open to take significant damage or being KO’d by strong special attackers like Latios or Tapu Koko
8) **Substitute Users**: lacking strong offensive pressure and abysmal speed leaves Torkoal to be easy bait for substitute users such as Mega gyarados This point should be Substitute Sweepers.
**Mega sableye**: Sableye Shuts down Torkoal almost completely, bouncing back its yawn or even Stealth Rocks. Its ghost typing also meaning that Torkoal can't Spin on it. Torkoal can only try to fish for burns if it decides to stay in. Mega Sableye wants nothing to do with Torkoal since it has a decent chance of getting burned by Lava Plume.
3)
**Mega Diancie**: Much like Sableye Diancie takes anything Torkoal throws out and KO’s Torkoal or deals massive damage to anything coming in
**Toxic**: Torkoal longevity gets shortened and is put on a timer. Allowing it to easily be stalled out This isn't really necessary.
7)
**Rock-types**: Rock-type pokemon heavily threaten Torkoal being able to resist Lava plume and causing heavy damage, physical Rock-types should be weary of burns though Examples?
4)
**Bulky Ground-types**: Bulky Ground-type pokemon like Gastrodon and Gliscor do heavy damage to torkoal while being able to stall it out with toxic and recovery moves This should be Ground-types in general since pretty much any decent Ground-type puts immense pressure on Torkoal offensively while Torkoal can only hope for burns and inducing sleep.

2) **Heatran**:
5) **Water-types**:
6) **Dragon-types**:
9) **Special Walls**:

Reorder this in order from 1-9.
The grammar in this analysis is not up to par by any means and needs a serious run through of http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/spelling-and-grammar-standards.3588427/ for Smogon specific grammar standards as well. In general, everything needs to be in complete sentences and have proper spelling for words, otherwise this is hardly readable.

There's a severe lack of detail and little to no examples for anything, i.e. "Thanks to Torkoal's great Defense and decent HP it can switch-in against physical attackers like Choice Scarf Heracross and Tapu Bulu." Just about everything you talk about with regards to other types or how Torkoal affects matchups needs examples of Pokemon and reasoning explaining why this happens.

After you've done all this and everything is implemented, tag me and I'll check this again.

Alright did llamas check and most of excas, turned it all into sentences and added more examples. Tagging iLlama for another check when possible

Calucha, please rewrite all of my suggestions in your own words. I can't exactly review the content if I'm just reading my own sentences. Highlight me again when you've put it into your own words and I'll check.

iLlama's check never got done and we're moving into USUM, so I'm going to close this. Feel free to reserve it again if you want to finish this.
