Survivor SURVIVOR III: Hoenn - won by HeaLnDeaL

It has come to our attention recently that the popup which tracks the opposing pokemon's moves and their PP is bugged should there be two Pokemon displayed to be the same thing. To not break the tool for in-game accurate, the hosts have decided to add this clause. Sorry to spring this one upon you late in the challenge, but we made this decision for the sake of in-simulator accuracy.

Arceus-type Display Clause: Only one Arceus-type may be displayed in a team. It seems the popup that apepars as you hover over your opponent's mon keeps its track based off of what is displayed and uses that as an index to generate information on the other things; this is probably most important for PP counting, move availability, and ability-tracking.

For clarity's sake, suppose you have three typings A, B, and C.

Not Allowed:
  • If Arceus-A is displayed as Arceus-B and Arceus-C is displayed as Arceus B, that is not allowed.
  • If Arceus-A is displayed as Arceus-B and Arceus-B is displayed as Arceus-B, that is not allowed.
  • If Arceus with type B displayed as Arceus-B and another Arceus with type B displayed as Arceus-B, that is not allowed.
  • If Arceus with type A displayed as Arceus-B and another Arceus with type C displayed as Arceus-B, that is not allowed.
  • If Arceus with type A displayed as Arceus-B and another Arceus with type B displayed as Arceus-B, that is not allowed.
Allowed:
  • If Arceus-A is displayed as Arceus-B, Arceus-B is displayed as Arceus-C, and the other 4 Arceus-types displayed are unique and not types B and C on the team, that is allowed as it does not break the popup move display to our knowledge since the popup sees Arceus-B and -C.
  • If Arceus-A is displayed as Arceus-C, Arceus-B is displayed as Arceus-B, and the other 4 Arceus-types displayed are unique and not types B and C on the team, that is allowed as it does not break the popup move display to our knowledge since the popup sees Arceus-B and -C and will track them respectively.
  • If Arc-A is displayed as Arc-B, a second Arc-A is displayed as Arc-C, and a third Arc-A is displayed as Arc-A and the other 3 arc-types displayed are unique and not types A, B, and C on the team, that is allowed as it does not break the popup display to our knowledge.

Challenge 4
Alright everyone, take a look at the new Claw and Root tribes. Mikaav and RODAN were voted out, respectively. Your next challenge is pretty simple. You will be playing all of the SM tiers (that is, SM OU, SM Ubers, SM Doubles OU, SM UU, SM RU, and SM LC) today.

The matchups are the Dome tribe vs. the Helix tribe and the Root tribe vs. the Claw tribe.

We'll give you 48 hours to send in lineups.

As always, if you have any questions please ask me or any of my cohosts.

EDIT: The Dome and Helix tribes will need to sit out one person each.
