Resource Ultra SM OU Bazaar

I'm not playing often because work + net garbage, but I bring two teams to share. After Mosa ban, Tapu Koko seems to have a good atm by the speed tier and Electric Terrain support, so...

Mawile appreciates Electric Terrain to abuse T Punch coverage, Heatran stallbreaker, Fini Prevents status and Lando + Tangrowth to glue and Zygarde check.

Cresselia @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Bold Nature

- Lunar Dance

This team tries to help Medicham to be even more broken; Support Tailwind, Electric Terrain, paralysis moves, Z-Memento and Lunar Dance.
Healing Wish Jirachi instead of Cresselia sounds less gimmick, but Cresselia presents a more safe switch against some threats like Keldeo, Medicham and Ground immunity.

This is a pretty fun team I made while I was on vacation. I wanted to make some HO without webs, since webs are everywhere and I want something different. Ash Gren + Keldeo is a nice water spam core that appreciates the decline in Fini usage. These two wear down each others checks over time with repeated Hydro Pumps/Dark Pulses/Secret Swords + the potential of Spikes damage. Originally, I had Bisharp over Garchomp to pressure Defog users, and to form a Dark Spam core with Gren as well, but after some testing and some help from the RMT chatroom, SD Garchomp seemed like the best option. I alternated between LO and Yache, and while both are good options, Yache seemed better to make my Koko match up easier. I added Celesteela to make sure Scarf Lele doesn't click Moonblast and win vs. me. It also gives me a nice late game cleaner, as well as a ground immunity. I needed a suicide lead, so I added Terrakion. This is an interesting set that I found out from this post from matthewc20090 . Double Kick Terrak allows me to one-shot lead Smeargle through Sash, preventing webs from getting up. I added Mega Metagross as my last mon because it is able to pressure Fini with Tpunch, Lando/Zygarde with Ice Punch, and Heatran with EQ. Also, its the best mon in the meta so why not lol. The team kinda auto loses to stall, but that's the issue with most HO teams. LO Chomp can do some things to it, but its just not enough. Shoutouts and a thank you to quziel for helping me out with this one.

- Volt Switch

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs

Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 208 Def / 28 SpD / 24 Spe

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Thunder
- Power Gem
- Hidden Power [Ice]

So, I wanted to make a team around Medi + Koko, since its an outstanding core. Electric Terrain boosted TPunch gives Medicham the ability to 2HKO Mega Sableye, one of its best answers. I made a post about it here if you want to see the full explanation. Sp. Def Ferrothorn gives me Spikes and an answer to Ash Gren and opposing Koko. The spread lets ferro take 2 specs dark pulses from Ash Gren. Rocky Helmet Lando gives me a check to Zygarde + rocks. Sub Ghostium Gengar is a cool Gengar set that abuses the meta's lack of a ghost resist. It also lets me rkill opposing Mega Medi. Ghostium Z allows it to get surprise kills on weakened pokemon like Toxapex, Magearna, and Nihilego. My last mon is Nihilego, since I need a way to beat Volc/Zard Y. It's also a nice late game cleaner. Team is weak to Keldeo and Mega Metagross, so watch out for them.

Pinsir + LO Starmie BO

Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Frustration
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Close Combat

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Rapid Spin
- Psychic
- Ice Beam

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 12 Def / 32 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Magma Storm
- Substitute
- Earth Power

Zygarde @ Choice Band
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Toxic

Tapu Bulu @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech
- Nature's Madness
- Stone Edge

I really wanted to build with Mega Pinsir, since that thing is pretty hard to stop in the current meta. Also, it abuses the fact that bulky grasses are so good, allowing it to set up on non-Rock Slide AV Tang, Ferrothorn, and non-Stone Edge Bulu. It also revenge kills Volcarona, which is nice. The point of the team is to break the steel types that annoy Mega Pinsir, and proceed to win with that. I paired LO Starmie with it, since I believe LO Starmie is a slept-on mon rn that got better with Pheromosa leaving. The only thing that can spin block LO Starmie is Mimikyu with its disguise intact. Other than that, anything that tries to spin-block it will catch a LO Analytic boosted attack. I chose Ice Beam over HP Fire or Tbolt so I can hit Zapdos and Zygarde harder than usual. Ferrothorn fit well as the next Pokémon, since it checks Koko/Ash Gren. It also has Spikes, which are borderline busted in this meta. Next I added Heatran, more specifically, the Heatran that ben gay made/popularized. If you want the full explanation of the set, it's here. Heatran fits in well here to beat most steel types and Sub+Toxic+Magma Storm to wear down and annoy opposing teams. I added Banded Zygarde next to punish all steel types + Zapdos for Mega Pinsir. It also gives me a check to Zard Y, which is a massive threat to this team. The combo of banded Zygarde + SubToxic tran can just beat stall by themselves. For the last mon, I added Scarf Bulu. While I may not like scarf Bulu so much (and most people don't), it fits well here as a ground resist, and a form of speed control. It revenge kills both greninja forms, Koko, Garchomp, Medicham, and weakened Lando-T. I have Natures Madness to hit any steel types that want to come in for half health. You could run superpower to hit some steels harder, but I like NM to chip away at mons like MMeta, MMaw, and Celesteela. The team is weak to Hammer Arm Mega Metagross, Mega Medicham, and Dual Dance Lando. This team is really fun, but there are some weaknesses to it as well. Still, I recommend trying it out at least.

Well, that's all for now! Hope you guys like all of the teams. I would have one more on here, but I'm saving that one for an RMT ;). Ill have that posted soon. Anyways, enjoy! :]

Hello everyone!

Should have done this earlier when I had the uploads, but here we have is a team with all your Tapu! First up let me warn you; this team is all about making PLAYS. It's not mean to be played simple, it's just not a basic team. It's just a fun team that is surprisingly effective too. I'm not going to post any cals, it's good to test it out yourself. This team honestly was never meant to be serious, but after binge playing for a bit, I found this team to be really solid. I've played against all kinds of cores, but I haven't faced any styles that has a major edge over this team. I played against stall a few times and even those aren't a problem.

The best way to use this team is to gauge your opponents play style. Everyone is probably thinking, "obviously dude" But that's the best way to use this team; there's an obvious style behind it. There's were many instances where my opponents would opt not to Earthquake my Marowak because of Bulu, so perhaps I get up stealth rocks, or a shadow bone. Other instances, opposing Tapu Koko would U-Turn on my Tapu Fini expecting Marowak, the next mon they bring in would get hit with a moon blast, surf, taunt, or free defog. Tapu Lele pressures Scizor to always U-Turn. There were instances opposing Weavile, Tryanitar, & Muk would use pursuit on my Marowak. Of course you should only stay in and attack back or get up rocks. You know Thick Club Marowak is no pushover.

In short, this entire team can only be effective if played well with reverse psychology and other mind games. There are those big threats; I think the biggest one to this team is Metagross. There were instances I had to get Grassy Terrain to lighten those earthquakes, then send in Marowak; not an effective strategy. Also I've noticed healthy Flyinium Z Landos tend to wreak this team. While there is zero ground immunity, it's not as bad as it seems. For reals.

Overall, this team offers you many tools to use: power, speed, terrain, element of surprise & style. For style I mean as in Volt Switching or U-Turning out of a battle rather than just plain forfeiting, it's just much cooler that way. All and all, it's really all about how you use those tools, like in many other teams.

Will update post with better battles when I get the chance. Any suggestions let me know! Have an awesome day!
This literally just loses to Gengar, Mega Metagross, Heatran, Lando-T, Excadrill, and a ton of other threats. I understand the appeal that might come with running all four Tapus, but using four Fairy-types is just never going to be effective, no matter what the last two Pokemon are.

Lol it's just a fun theme team that can work if you play around the threats. There is absolutely no perfect team out there because a counter team can always be made. There's enough power in this team to blow away unsuspecting foes :) Check out the replays I just added, didn't know you could look them up
Its not a good team, despite the "fun" factor of it. 5 fairy types is awful in a meta with metagross, scizor, etc, and much like the guy above said, your team loses to tapu lele, excadrill, landorus, gengar, metagross, scizor, magearna, heatran, literally every relevant OU threat. If you want to share fun teams go to RMT because people come here for good teams

A team I've been using lately with decent results (I'm about 1400), although I could do with some help. It features Kartana and Mega Charizard X. The idea is that one clears the way for the other, as Charizard can smash up M-Venusaur, Celesteela and Skarmory for Kartana while Kartana can wreck Tapu Fini, defensive Landorus-T and Toxapex.

hi so i got bored so i took an old team and fixed it up for sm and ended up liking it as it caters to my preferred playstyle, it's simple and usually has positive matchup against most stuff. against offensively inclined teams you either outlast them or they get cleaned by nihilego, fatter teams are kept at bay by the combination of celebi + keldeo and heatran. tr's probably the most annoying matchup, you'll need to play pretty carefully there so you're not boned by the strongass mons; not much to delve into there.

make sure to prioritize keeping celebi around against bulkier teams where you need to boosts to break through and also keep in mind to keep nihilego healthy against offensive teams. general tip with the team is that chances are you're going to be pivoting a lot and using the teams resists to get initiative where you can force a threat out, set rocks, fish for burns, get rid of a mon or pass a boost. since you're pivoting often you unfortunately can't always keep a mon healthy to check things so you'll end up sacking it for initiative.

about movesets if u-turn isn't to your liking you can opt for either knock off or pursuit on mzor over it, the former helps a lot in crippling stuff, the latter helps with rarer threats like gengar, zam and shedinja. lando-t prefers knock off here but if you find offensive grounds annoying you can just swap it with hp ice; keldeo's z item is just preferece, you can run fightinium to nail most water resists harder, but with waterium you can get rid of annoying things like zapdos after rocks and m-medi at full. with celebi if you'd rather pressure poisons, flyings etc you'd go with psychic, if you don't just run giga drain to help with fatter grounds and waters more. celebi's spread is quite a toss up, the speed investment is to outpace heatran before it taunts you, if it's not helpful in your experience just reduce it to your preferred speed tier and fit the rest in bulk.

threat wise you need to watch out for m-medi as you're forced to intimidate it then go to celebi to wall, if celebi's weakened then you're forced to pivot into keldeo to force it out try to not give it too many free switchins! m-pinsir becomes an issue if you either don't keep rocks up or have nihilego at a reasonable amount of hp. greninja can get annoying if keldeo is weakened but thankfully protean is very easily wittled and gren rarely gets into ash form thanks to resttalk keldeo. gengar is another threat since the team is without a ghost resist (lol), as long as you play carefully you'll be fine though. speaking about playing carefully just take your time and not rush against stall, just wittle the mons til one of the special attackers can pressure the rest of the team and get rid of mons. that should be it, hf~

OK... what the hell is up with some of those sets? Without U-Turn Tapu Koko is straight up murdered by Dugtrio, without Grass Knot or Hidden Power Ice you are forced out by every Ground type bar Garchomp. you don't need to run Hasty on Landorus-T, you still 2hko chomp and opposing Lando with Jolly. Imprison is situational at best, U-Turn Stone Edge or Knock Off would be better and why are Tyranitar's EVs so damn weird? Why wouldn't you just run 252 Atk / 252 Spe?

The standard sets are standard for a reason.

first of all ever heard of "thinking outside the box"? the tapu koko set is a ABR set and it helps situations where you need to volt switch in order to keep up momentum with stab volt switch... if you hate volt switch so much then just use u-turn over it. The Tyranitar set is to live a non life orb focus blast from gengar and also help vs volcarona and the lando-t set actually comes in handy since LANDO-T IS ON EVERY TEAM. Psychium Z Bulu KO's Standard Amoonguss without SD which eases the match up for keldeo and koko. ALSO WHY are you guys only bugging me? there are much worse teams in this bazaar. I actually do stuff for a reason. meaning i calc moves and assume every possible situation. Again if you hate some of the sets so much then just change them and stop attacking me.

"The standard sets are standard for a reason." ok thats cool and all but standard is not always the best choice to use. the SM OU is still evolving and also in tournament play we see so much different sets and innovation. its not always the best thing to be standard my friend.

252 SpA Gengar Focus Blast vs. 8 HP / 220 SpD Tyranitar in Sand: 284-336 (82.7 - 97.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Tapu Bulu Shattered Psyche (160 BP) vs. 248 HP / 44 Def Amoonguss: 442-520 (102.5 - 120.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

its to outspeed other band tyranitars and standard m-scizor which try to outspeed modest magnezone. and if they put ev's to outspeed even max speed tyranitar then they are losing out on bulk. there is no way to cover everything but chrystalfalchion caught my attention of the char x + sd scizor weakness so i decided to use this version as well https://pastebin.com/Aj6ZBw3B this version has a better time vs SD M-Scizor and Charizard X. i also put occa berry on bulu for Heatran to get a superpower off since this team also a little bit of trouble against it.

Probably the best Moltres team in the meta

Dugtrio to remove stops to ghost z-conv pZ w/ Memento to create a setup opportunity, U-turn Moltres and Specs Volt Switch Magearna to lure in T-tar and Chansey respectively. Fini for defog to support Dugtrio and Moltres, scarf Chomp provides a revenge killer and has rocks slapped on - not a great set but it has bluffed defensive chomp a few times. Weak to a lot of things but very fun to play lol

Team could use a more reliable hazard setter and a hazard remover that doesn't work against Moltres's wisp/flame body - suggestions?

mega sharpedo bulky offense. i don't understand the stigma that mega sharpedo on fits on ball-to-the-wall ho when bulky offense supports it so much better. the original core was tapu lele + sharpedo since sharpedo flops against stall completely so tapu lele really helps with that matchup dramatically, while also providing valuable support in psychic terrain to block priority so it can clean safely lategame. from here a nice defensive backbone of av tornadus-t and double hazard (role compression is key here) ferrothorn was put together to fall back on. thunder wave ferrothorn is cool for punishing things like volcarona that believe they are getting a free setup. zygarde was a good fit here for a defined sweeper that also helps just a bit with the stall matchup with it's nice offensive subcoil set. without toxic you're having a harder time with clefable but you have lele in the back so you should be fine. choice scarf nihilego was added since its another way to pressure bulky grasses and it actually can come in on volcarona and charizard y, both of which were kinda unstoppable if they got into play. don't sack anything too early since everything is pretty vital to the team's success.

mega aerodactyl is underwhelming, it requires a ton of support to really do anything special. paired it with av magnezone to actually have a steel with some bulk for lele. tapu lele itself seemed cool since magnezone is trapping steels and stall was a 6-0 so i went with a taunt + calm mind set since hp fire isn't that necessary anymore but be sure the steels are gone when facing balance squads for best effect. the set pretty much decimates stall too but know when to attack when facing chansey and try to get skarm trapped (courtesy of knock off lando). lando + av tangrowth is a good backbone to fall back on while keldeo is the scarfer. i guess aero is decent for volcarona and zard y, but i wouldn't recommend using it unless it reallyy fits your team

a cool team build around dd + dragonium z zygarde. i paired it with spikes ash-greninja since it really appreciates zygarde weakening tapu fini and outright eliminating av tangrowth. mega mawile seemed like a good fit next since it capitalized off of spikes and paved way for zygarde through a powerful breaker and it help with stall + extra priority. scarf keldeo is the designated revenge killer and av tangrowth + jirachi is a really nice core that blankets a ton of threats in the meta whilst bringing a nice amount of utility.

originally magearna was mega metagross but it's being suspected so it was the next best thing and it makes a good core with celesteela designed to assist each other in paving way for one or the other to sweep. to support them both, choice specs + spikes ash-greninja was added, and while i don't like specs that much having a powerful breaker was pretty necessary since otherwise the team is quite reliant on beast boost / soul heart. av tang and lando is your run of the mill defensive core.

you should run enough speed for toxapex on mega slowbro but i can't recall the ev's so be sure to make that change if you decide to use this team. the team itself was based on regenerator between av tangrowth, slowbro, and lo tornadus-t. it's a fine core since it accomplishes a lot in three cores but i won't state any arbitrary terms like wall, stallbreaker, etc. heatran sets rocks and weakens tapu fini and other waters for zygarde, whom of which is using the offensive coil set. scarf greninja in the last slot mainly for u-turn and more insurance against volcarona then keldeo's stone edge.

sash zam is really good since it's a catch all to like every attacker in the tier with counter and thunder wave. ferrothorn sets spikes which i think is a necessity with sash zam. mega mawile aids the team against stall and sets up rocks against it pretty reliably. scarf keldeo is scarf keldeo, latios checks keldeo and is a soft check to mega medicham since it can come in on hjk if it's very healthy. double dance landorus-t brings another ground immunity as well as a great wincon that benefits heavily from spikes support.

this is pretty much your generic psychic spam with mega alakazam. mega zam + tapu lele is a fine core overall since they support each other pretty well and give you good matchups against all playstyles. heatran + ferrothorn sets hazards with heatran utilizing air balloon + hp ice since opposing grounds are annoying to face. dd lando is a secondary wincon albeit more reliable than cm mega zam and keldeo is your scarfer.

this is one i based around cofagrigus + ferrothorn, since cof is terrifying late-game with trick room + nasty plot as well as a one time nuke at your disposal. landorus-t sets rocks with it's basic defensive set and latios is a useful scarfer because keldeo is pretty dumb without it once you mega evolve gyarados (and you want to do that asap imo). i wanted to implement a backup steel-type and it would have been mega metagross, but magnezone just fit the bill better because ferro, steela, and mega scizor are nearly unbreakable without it, so don't sack magnezone before those threats have been removed. in the last slot i wanted something that could help with the stall matchup and out of the choices mega gyarados stood out the most, especially considering it's a very good (ash)greninja check. the bulk on gyarados ensures that moonblast 3HKOes from unaware fable so you beat it 1v1 if you predict right and taunt it on the switch in. if you can beat chansey then cof can pressure stall too.

On a totally unrelated note, does anyone know if it's possible to add the little windows on mobile so I can put my pastes in there instead of my post being unnecessarily big?

TP Edit: I put all 6 mons on a single line

Edit: Okay, sorry about that

This is Choice Specs Tapu Lele team I actually built before the Metagross suspect, but I used it to get reqs and for a few tour games as well. The build is pretty standard and self explanatory. Lele, Zygarde, and Landorus break defensive cores, Scizor and Magearna act as pivots and defensive backbones, and Keldeo gives speed control and a bit of defensive utility. Obviously the team isn't perfect, it's fairly slow making it weak to Medicham (although I think the weakness isn't as bad in practice is it is on paper) and the only water resist is Keldeo. A well played Celesteela can also wall everything basically. Overall, I think it's a pretty fun team that matches up well with a variety of playstyles.

The stall team I used to get reqs in some 50 games for the Mega Metagross suspect, quite similar to the one I used a few months ago during the Pheromosa suspect.
Worth noting is that Mega Sableye is running full spdef in order to hard wall protean LO Greninja and bounce spikes. It also enables Sableye to always live two moonblasts from Tapu Fini, which makes enables it to tank a moonblast and then knockoff leftovers. 4 speed EVs are run in order to always outspeed ferrothorn which makes switching into a powerwhip after tanking a moonblast rather safe.
Shedinja is run special over physical in order to prevent it from killing itself to helmet / iron barbs, people seem to love switching Landorus into it to try get the helmet kill, which makes it super easy to wisp.

As a side note, this team absolutely trashes every single BP team as most of them are based around stored power sweeping who never carry coverage for Shedinja. Shedinja can even Baton pass out as it is slower to PP stall up to around 3 SP mons

Baton pass was finally banned but alas the team remains very much the same, baton pass on shedinja was swapped out for toxic

not much to explain. I wanted to use Gigalith, since it was buffed with Sand Stream. I had the concept of using Gravity making Flying Types vulnerable to Ground Type attacks helping Excadrill be a immense threat. T-Tar is ofc an option over Gigalith.

This is a team I call Paper Cut. It's got me to about 1450 so far. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

It's an offensive Sticky Web team built around 2 sweepers, Kartana and Mega Pinsir. Kartana can smash through stuff like Skarmory and Celesteela, while Pinsir wrecks the likes of Mega Venusaur, Tangrowth and Amoongus. Smeargle is of course my suicide lead. Sticky Web and Magic Coat are obvious; Skill Swap lets me set webs against Mega Sableye, while Final Gambit lets me Smeargle KO itself to prevent spinning / defogging. I went with that over Memento as it's not blocked by Taunt. Kartana runs the standard SD set - really, there's no reason to use anything else on that thing. Fightinium Z lets it break through Skarmory and Celesteela with All Out Pummelling - it also OHKOes Volcarona at +2. Mega Pinsir also runs the standard SD set - again, no reason to run anything else. With Sticky Web down it's super dangerous, as the stuff which could outrun and revenge kill like Tapu Koko and Terrakion now get wrecked. I went with Earthquake over Close Combat as it still OHKOes Tyranitar at +2, while also letting me KO Heatran unboosted, and it doesn't miss out on Tapu Koko and Magearna. Starmie is my spinner, as Pinsir needs Stealth Rock off the field. I ran the bulky spread as it can also double as a check to Keldeo. Next, I needed a wallbreaker. Tyranitar also has the advantage of Pursuit trapping Gengar and Latios, 2 scarf users who can still outrun Kartana even in webs. Stone Edge is the main STAB, Crunch is the reliable one, Pursuit lets me do massive damage to fleeing stuff while Superpower gives me a way to OHKO Heatran and opposing Ttar. I'm running a Jolly nature as while it does make Tyranitar a bit weaker, it lets it outrun grounded Pokemon with 115 base Speed or less if I can keep webs up. Lastly, there's my Stealth Rock setter Heatran. Honestly, it hasn't been that impressive, but Stealth Rock is almost too good not to have on your team. Anyway, standard defensive Heatran - Stealth Rock's obvious, Taunt stops opposing hazard spreaders and Defogging, Toxic cripples weak walls while Lava Plume helps spread burns. EVs let it outrun 252 Adamant Mega Mawile with the rest in Special Defence and HP for good special bulk.
