Welcome to the PUPL III Team Dump!

This thread is for people to give away their teams, sets, and innovations. Please give a small description as to how the team/set works when posting for the benefit of the reader.

Note: this thread will be treated like the Creative Sets thread, so please no stupid gimmicks.

With that being said, feel free to post and congrats to the Shoegazing Stoutlands again for winning!

People roasted me for posting Psychic Togetic in the Lure thread so I decided to bring an offensive Togetic to show how fire it is. In the finals it actually survived a Jynx Ice Beam after rocks and blew it back with a Fire Blast which was pretty sick. I made the set with the mindset that threats such as Drampa were running around the tier and could be used to set up, and it was a cool way to lure in Steel-types for my own Drampa.

I didn't get to play in PUPL, but I made this and it's cool. It can 1v1 stuff like Ferroseed and Non Choice Banded Skuntank take advantage of Qwilfish, Gastro, and some choice locked mons. Just a cool set that can annoy a bunch of teams.

This team owns unless u face sub edge marowak. Lapras is absolutely a bit of a meme, but it does mostly solve the issue of stall being rly passive because it actually threatens to KO a lot, especially the bulkier things stall has no way to bust through without Muk setting up to +6. Beats other stall nicely so yeah. Vullaby might be sub par since u really want to keep hazards off and, like, Vullaby sucks, but it did fine in testing.

Played a few games this pupl but I only made one team because my teammates are fire. Built this to fight my good friend yogibears but he ended up pulling out so I used it vs qq instead. Had some fun mons on this team such as expert belt encore primeape, metang, scarf rampardos, specs skunk and curse gastrodon. Curse gastro had a great mu so I was able to pull out a W.

Yay, i've been waiting for this! The tour was ridiculously fun, and even if I ended up going neutral with 3-3 I still had a blast. Unfortunately most of the teams are out of date due to Charizard and Guzzlord being gone (i'm a dirty Charizard abuser whoops), but hopefully this is some insight to my building process or something iunno. Right this was my first and probably favorite team that i've made so far in SM PU. The team was built in preparation for what I assumed would be an offense heavy round, so I built around Kangaspikes and an interesting mon in Drifblim. Drifblim was perfect, in combination with hazards it was able to wear down and cripple rock types for Kangaskhan, whilst still functioning as a spin blocker and a win condition late game. Charizard was also a perfect fit, with the team putting good pressuring on defensive rock types it opened up Charizard's opportunity to clean up, whilst also functioning as a much needed secondary fighting check. Ferroseed and Qwilfish make up the hazard stack core, with Hitmonchan being the obvious choice as the tiers best spinner to support Charizard whilst still maintaining my own hazards.

I really wanted to use scarf Chatot, so I paired it with the broken Charizard to help pressure and chip defensive rock types whilst also being a reliable Sableye switch in. Palossand was then added to abuse Primeape without being exploitable by Mesprit like Weezing is, whilst also being the team's electric immunity. I also really wanted to experiment with defensive Carracosta since at the time it seemed like it would have a good rocker vs rocker match up, although it didn't live up to the hype I gave it in my head. The Abomasnow was previously life orb to compensate for how passive the team was, but I changed it to choice scarf after the round to help with speed control further.

This is the forever recycled Mom team with the bronzorgastropom core, updated to try and combat the dragons which had ridiculous match ups against past versions since Hariyama was gone. The teams focused around Bronzor, Clefairy and Gastrodon walling the majority of the tier, featuring reflect Bronzor since I feared physical breakers such as Ursaring and Crabomidable being used against me. Oricorio-Pom Pom weirdly glued the team together, making the Lilligant match up much less scary, being a secondary fighting resist, helping to check Munchlax and Type:Null with taunt rocky helmet and helping immensely in stall match-ups. The Archeops set may seem weird, but the spread made it a secondary Kangaskhan resist since Gastrodon doesn't cut it and Bronzor is unreliable due to the risk of pursuit trapping. Knock off also seems weird, but I felt earthquake wasn't necessary since my Regirock match-up was great and knock off helped against Type:Null and Munchlax. Shame it lost, but clicking toxic is still fun.

Yes, I loved the team so I used it twice, replacing Charizard with Guzzlord. The team still functioned the same, although Charizard did more for the team than Guzzlord since this version is ridiculously Primeape weak. Also, Regirock usage dropped a bunch so I ended up using facade over earthquake on Kangaskhan to help vs Sableye, which proved to be clutch as hell. Long live blimblim, rip Charizard and Guzzlord.

This team was built after realising that people hate using water resists and that people love building offense that loses to Swanna. Swanna and Lanturn exploited the water weaknesses whilst supporting each other perfectly, whilst also giving me a very strong match-up against Piloswine Qwilfish cores. Skuntank and Weezing were then used as another strong and reliable core to abuse scarf Primeape and provide protection against Jynx, Haunter and Lilligant. Bronzor was simply used for role compression of stealth rocks, Mesprit check, Jynx check, Lilligant check and again for Piloswine. Finally I wanted to use a scarfer that was faster than Primeape, and since I was already using z-move Swanna instead of scarf I decided on Dugtrio-Alola, which has a surprisingly good offense match-up due to how easy it can be to prep for either earthquake spam or iron head spam accordingly.

This week I was certain that I wanted to build around Articuno and Swanna, so I started there. Golem provided the team with a normal resist, flying resist, fire resist and electric immunity, whilst also having a strong match up again Regirock which could be annoying for bird spam to face. Since Swanna and Golem aren't the most reliable fire resists I still wanted a secondary answer to them, and since I was running bird spam and was slightly Drampa weak I decided on Hitmonchan. To then further help the team with it's Drampa weakness and to also give the team more power against spDef walls like Clefairy I used nasty plot Mr. Mime with psyshock.

I started with this really fun Normal spam team that I was super confident in. However, I was surprised by Scarf Raichu, which ended up being a terrible matchup for this team so I got fucked rip. SD Zangoose is a terrifying breaker which can OHKO Metang at +2, which is insane in a meta where you either have Metang or lose to Articuno (please ban articuno). The rest of the team aims to support it- 3 U-turn users, Memento from Scarf Missy. Pretty fun team!

also this week tricking used my regice team and won with it, but it has guzzlord so rip no longer allowed

Week 2 - BW vs. col49 who johned me so I didn't play but RAIZA USED THE TEAM WEEK 3 and it LOST rip

This team is based around two creative sets. SD Grassium Z Shiftry is really fun because +2 Bloom Doom blows away Skuntank (and the most common spread is max max adamant so it gets bopped). With Skuntank gone, RestTalk Musharna just wins sometimes. It's a really cool set which avoids Tspikes which is huge in this meta and honestly this mon is broken. Anyway so yeah one more fun team!

Week 5 - DPP vs. Heysup, I used a miyoka team because heysup was impossible to schedule with so I had no time to prep 8)

Unfortunately he brought the counter to all of Miyoka's teams, subtoxic gabite. classic.

---

I covered the cooler sets that I used (grassium shiftry, resttalk mush, fire gem swoobat) in the teams themselves but I did use some cool stuff this pupl.

Sorry for bad descriptions - i'm tired as FUCK oml

can't wait for next big tour :3 love ya guys

Star used this vs Rodriblutar in Week 1 and didn't have a great matchup / got kinda haxed. I built this team towards the end of ORAS when Muk + Altaria / Vibrava + Bronzor builds were pretty popular. Rapidash deals with Bronzor and with Ganlon Berry gives you an Ice Move that can lure in and one shot Vibrava so Golem can just break whatever it wants. Fast Rocks Gabite gives a decent Monferno answer. Fast Taunt Quilladin gives me a soft Golem resist and a way of taking advantage of Lumineon which can mess with the other members. Drain Punch patches up the Pawniard weakness since Rapidash doesn't have Wisp. Bulky Misdreavus with Taunt spinblocks and helps stop defog while giving me stops to non-Stoutland normals and another Golem resist. Scarf Frostom helps me not auto-lose to Floatzel and is standard dot RKer. I feel this team could be tweaked a bit to be optimized but i think its a pretty interesting concept overall.

Not sure if I've posted this team yet but Bushtush used it vs Jarii in Week 1 so posting it again! Pretty standard Hyper Offense here where Specs Mesprit and LO Encore Primeape break so Scarf Haunter and SD Lycanroc can clean. Fast Spikes Qwilfish is the standard offensive team fighting resist. Piloswine gives some insane role compression with rocks, an Electric immunity, a way of revenging Archeops and Oricorio, and some decent counterplay for Dragons(Guzzlord was still legal). Scarf Haunter is here mainly just to discourage spin and revenge things. Destiny Bond can help lure Skunk so Mesprit can click Psychic freely which is nice. SD Lycanroc is my favorite mon in the tier so it made the team. It helps deal with fast threats like Pyroar that the team is a bit weak to and is very good at cleaning weakened teams.

The highlight of my week 1 ^_^. Banded Stoutland + Banded Throh are stupidly easy to use and just mess up bulkier teams. Throh fucks up Normal resists for Stout and Stoutland fucks up the few ghosts that are in the tier For Throh. I added Spdef NP Beheeyem and Mawile as a great balance core to support the wallbreaking core. Beheeyem is a catch all Spdef check for stuff like Rotom-F and Duosion and can beat most bulky cores on its own. Mawile is a great Normal/Jumpluff resist that gives me rocks and a slow Baton Pass for getting my two wallbreakers in safely. Taunt helps with this too so bulkier things can't recover/status my mons. I added Sub Toxic Rotom to help pressure some things that needed checks like Torterra, Mantine, Golduck, Vileplume etc. I went with Toxic over Wisp mostly cause i was sick of 75% accuracy Wisp and Toxic helps pressure Chinchou better. Scarf Golduck is my go to revenge killer and gives the team a desperately needed fire check. It also helps check weather for the team.

No replays for this week cause OU conspiracy Nazi mods but this was probably my favorite team of PUPL. Sub Toxic HP Ice Quilava is a really cool balance breaker cause it can touch Dragonair as well as cripple other waters like Marshtomp and Sealeo. Banded Aipom is the lead of choice because its the best mon in the tier if you play smart with it, especially since people don't really use Shuckle anymore. The next three mons are a nice balance core that can pivot into like 90% of the meta. Tentacool is a pretty underrated fire resist as it can switch into everything insanely easily thanks to its good bulk and doesn't even have to fear Toxic. Being able to easily spin away Omanyte's Spikes and basically walling the quite common Sealeo are both also really nice added qualities. Spdef Duskull is great glue for the team by helping take on Grounds and Minun that threaten Tentacool as well as being a soft normal check. Marshtomp is the dedicated Physical wall, check a bunch of setup threats like Dragonair, Beedrill, Anorith, etc. Dragonair is here as a cleaner that pairs well with Aipom and Quilava breaking capabilities. It also gives me one more Electric resist to take the ease off of Duskull in a pinch. DD with HP Grass is a solid tech that can kill common checks like Corsola, Marshtomp, and Omanyte.

Tricking piloted this team victory in Week 3 vs Feliburn. Its more semi brainless offense that I built when Z Corio was peaking in popularity. Basic concept of the team was lure in Skuntank/Guzzlord(idk if this was still legal but it was legal when i built it so w/e) with Z Oricorio so Scarf Lilligant can clean up. Qwilfish gets up hazards and Primeape punishes Skunks that try to Defog hazards. As you might be able to tell, I'm a big fan of Encore Primeape on Hazard stack teams like this because it forces weird situations on your opponents that can make then switch, racking up more hazard damage. Piloswine does the same role compression stuff i mentioned on the last team. Oricorio is a variant on the Sub CM set with roost over Sub because in tests I found it more useful to be able to recover up to continually check fighting types instead of having a more favorable mind game vs sucker punch users. Costa rounds out the team nicely as an offensive fire check and late game cleaner. Scarf Lilligant with Healing Wish gives the option of potentially setting up Costa early to break then bringing it back later. All depends on matchup.

I think Slowbroth mostly made this team but i wanted to showcase it regardless. This team got me a win vs Pearl in Week 3. Wanted to try and bring speed pass since its a broken strat. Fast HP Grass Omanyte can bop unexpected Marshtomps and other Omanytes but needs to be played conservatively as it is the only Normal resist on the team. Bulky Minun forces a lot of switches and can setup Agilities and/or Subs on passive shit to pass to one of the teams breakers. Clamperl is the main recipient as it does like 80% min to the entire tier and at +2 speed is pretty spooky. AoA Combusken is the alternative breaker if you can't get Clamperl in on a good matchup on stuff like Ivysaur or Bayleef. it also gives a soft fire check which is always good. DD Dragonair fits on basically every team thanks to Dragon typing being so good so its here but this time with HP Fighting to hit Sealeo along with standard rock types. Doduo is the last to pressure Special Walls like Ivysaur and Drowzee which can give the other two breakers a bit of trouble and one more Quick Attack user.

So this is a more serious version of a meme team I used a bit on the Hariyama suspect ladder that can be found here. Guts Hariyama is replaced with its younger brother Gurdurr and the meme dial is turned back just a bit by getting rid of one of the three Healing Wish users. Floatzel or Zebstrika fill the hole or Persian-A and each have their own plus sides that and I still haven't quite decided which i like more. While Floatzel gives a better Fire answer, has better coverage in general, and gives my team another form of priority, Zebstrika gives me a Volt immunity vs semi niche stuff like Manectric and Frostom. I don't wanna go into the building process for the rest of the team cause I already did that in the squad dump post. Arifeen expertly piloted this team to victory vs sam i yam.

Overall my teams went like 6-3 or something I'm not sure but I'd say thats pretty solid. Had a fuck ton of fun building and playing this PUPL and I'm very much looking forward to next year. MASSIVE shoutouts to HJAD and Anty for calling me an overpay at 13k

Hey!

So I don't really want to dump teams because I've already posted my more successful ones elsewhere, but I did want to show off a few fun sets that I made for it!

Togedemaru @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Lightning Rod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Toxic
- Zing Zap
- U-turn
- Nuzzle

So yeah, this set... It was only on my team because at the time I really struggled versus Swanna, Primeape, and Archeops and wanted something to lure them sufficiently; or at least cripple them. Toxic was kinda needed because my team also super struggled versus Mushurna and Nuzzle was a cool form of speed control to cripple things like Carracosta and Lilligant. Not a very good set, but I've bopped quite a few people with it s/o dundies.

Raichu-Alola @ Magnet
Ability: Surge Surfer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast

So I brought this week three and I really enjoyed how much work it put in. Alolan Raichu can force switches pretty easily and often gets trapped or loses to something like Skuntank, so I decided to use Substitute over Nasty Plot on this set. Kinda went with Magnet so I could do more damage to Skuntank mainly, but also because it's a neat overall item. You can use Leftovers too if you want.

Skuntank @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Acid Spray
- Fire Blast
- Defog

I mean, I guess this set isn't really new, but I never see it so I'm putting it here. I wanted a pseudo stallbreaker alongside Drampa and Pinsir, but I also needed a defogger and z move user; so I decided to do a bit of role compression bop. It's able to break a few things like Piloswine with its z move if Acid Spray was used the previous turn, which is pretty cool.

Yeah that's about it, I didn't really make anything too creative which really sucks, but o'well lol.

Okay this was my first PUPL, I ended up going 4-2 and I actually had a lot of fun so I'm gunna post the teams I used throughout the weeks!

Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 152 SpD / 104 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Wave
- Draco Meteor

For the first week I wanted to bring some solid Offense (you'll see a theme here), so I started off with LO Lycanroc because at the time, Charizard was the biggest threat in the meta. Piloswine was overall a solid pick for a rocker that gave me a back-up check for Archeops. Qwilfish gave me Spike Stack and a good switch in to Hitmonchan who was a threat to the original core. Sensu was added after that because if my opponent had a Primeape it would force 50/50's whilst it also gave me a good Lilligant check. The set is designed to grab free Substitutes against stuff like Primeape and also be able so sub on Sucker Punches from Skuntank/Absol then knock them out with SSSS. Primeape gave me a rock resist whilst detering Defoggers and being an overall good scarfer. Lastly I wanted a Fire resist and Guzzlord was just gaining traction at this point since it's hard to fit on answers for it so Draco got a kill in most games.

- Swords Dance
- Accelerock

This week I went with Bulky Offense because I wanted some good checks to what flcl brought the week before. AV Hitmonchan is really solid at blanket checking a lot of the tiers special attackers such as Magmortar and Pyroar. Because I already had an AV user I used Ebelt Magmortar as it allowed me to grab the KO on Gastrodon a lot easier whilst not getting chipped too much by Life Orb so it worked well as a Lilligant check. My own Gastrodon was added because he brought a Huntail the week before so I wanted a solid Water resist and luckily for my he brought Rain. Mesprit was there for Rocks and I went with Ice beam over H-wish because this team loses to RP Torterra without it lol. Skuntank absorbed T-Spikes, worked as a Ghost resist and is just an overall decent physical attacker that hits surprisingly hard with Choice Band. Lastly, I was hesitant to use Lycanroc again but it gave the team a pseudo Normal/Flying check and some speed control.

Week 3 vs Mysterious M - http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pu-639371891

I remember not having a lot of time to build this week so I used a solid Fire Spam team with Magmortar over Zard, made by Teddeh. Unfortunately I got a really bad match-up against AV Lanturn, plus the Aggron was able to break my Gastro early on.

This is one of my favourite teams I made, originally this was built for getting reqs in the Hariyama suspect test but I decided to use it this week since I was really comfortable with it and I didn't build anything else since I thought I was getting the activity win over Ajna lol. The core follows a similar pattern to that of my week 1 team with Qwilfish+Oricorio. Absol was the main focus point since it breaks down a lot of Balance teams really well, especially those that use Scarf Primape as a Dark resist. Golem is a cool lead as it's able to threaten a lot of other rockers and defoggers and I used Rock Blast since this team is really Articuno weak. Scarf Abomasnow was added as last because its actually a really cool cleaner and managed to get surpise KO's against stuff like Archeops.

Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
- Dynamic Punch
- Stealth Rock

I didn't really have a lot in mind when preparing for Arifeen apart from I knew I wanted to bring Stoutland since it's cool at taking advantage of teams without solid Normal resists. Stoutland paired well with Musharna as a core since Stout can pressure stuff like Gastro by swithcing in on Toxic's and getting the Facade boost. Archeops is just a really solid attacker and I decided to go with Stone edge since it can win the 1v1 against other Archeops without Stone edge. Defog Skunk solved the Hazard weakness and pressured a lot of bulky teams with Acid Spray. Jynx was a late game clean and pseudo water resist since the team didnt have one yet. Golurk was added last since I still need rocks and I wanted something else for Normal types. I got a bit lucky in the end since I crit his Bronzor with Stoutland but made some decent plays like tricking the Choice scarf to Type:Null which otherwise would have been a big threat.

Thought a lot about preparation for this week and knew I wanted to go some type of Offense since that's mainly what I'm the most comfortable with. I knew I didnt want to be Qwilfish weak so Jynx was my first thought and Z-Lovely kiss is really hard to deal with (unless you have Fire Blast Togetic :x). Eelektross made for a decent Archeops and opposing Swanna check since I tend to run Qwilfish a fair amount. My own Swanna was put there to defog away Spikes and it generally had a good match-up against his previous teams. Golurk was mainly there for rocks and role compression as always, Jolly is to outspeed most Lanturns. Choice Band Skuntank is just a solid Physical attacker that can deal with grass, psychic and ghost types well. Primeape gave me a good Lilligant check and took advantage of opposing Qwilfish builds usually. Overall, I don't think I played this match to the best of my ability despite my opponents questionable plays but ah well, there's always next year.

Pretty cool team with one of Dibs' cool inventions in Adamant Scarf Alola Dugtrio which is able to outspeed stuff like Scarf Primeape/Jynx. The rest of the team is pretty self explanatory, Ferro gets up rocks and acts as a Normal, Water and Grass resist. Weezing takes on Fighting and ground types with Thunderbolt being for Taunt Archeops and opposing Swanna trying to switch in. Swanna is so the team wins the hazard war vs Qwilfish. Magmortar is the Lilligant check, Skunk the Ghost and Dark resist whilst being the teams strong physical attacker. This team has a really touch time against Zebstrika and Manectric though so be weary of them.

Not much else to say apart from feel free to use any of the team you like and hope you enjoyed reading!

Favourite team i used which ended up having no more than 4 defense/hp evs in anything. Idea was sort of goose kills defensive teams, float kills offensive ones (this was before people were prepping much for it). Turns out zangoose is pretty mediocre since its ntb to play around. Mesprit hwish is a nice help too, golurk is probably my favourite rocker for offense since it doesnt invite most fighting types in. Kinda needed mag for lilligant and its also a back up breaker since without a boosting item its still busted af. Skunk is a nice filler which can check jynx and raichu and stuff. Didnt have a set up sweeper but floatzel can often clean. Mag EVs were probably changed since i remember spending 5 mins formulating a mad spread

This was sorta standard, when skunk and weezing were in there prime, and gastro and raichu were starting to get hype (during zard week i think). Pretty standard but scarf swanna is really nice since i needed a scarfer that could RK jynx and lilligant (which is why its mixed) and itd be nice to also KO gurdurr and defog is a really helpful option.

Silvally-Steel @ Steel Memory

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Multi-Attack
- Parting Shot
- Rock Slide
- Sunny Day

My take on sun. Obviously the first 3 are required, and i thought sawsbuck is the second best chloro choice since shiftry is kinda weak due to its moves BP, and leafeon and lilligant has shite coverage, whereas sawsbuck hits a lot with its dual stab and Z-DE is very strong. Mag is an excellent abomasnow and lilligant check while can break and even fuck over slower teams due to flame charge. Silvally-steel was my favourite filler as it could get momentum, switch into kanga a bit, while checking abomasnow as well and luring mag maybe.

The other team i used i didnt like and we had lost by then so didnt especially bother perfecting it

I initially didn't want to share since people don't really care about PUPL anymore and I'm lazy, but I thought it'd be a waste for all my stuff to go to waste. So here it is. I built for a lot of tiers in PUPL, so sorry for not giving the most in-depth explanations on each one

SM:

Week 1 vs Optical Real (W)

http://pokepast.es/c0249f9a0af5fa28

Definitely one of the most fun and aesthetically pleasing teams I built this PUPL. I decided to build around dual sash Jynx + Kadabra for no reason, though I ended up swapping up Jynx to Normalium Z because it was broken. The rest of the team just fell together in typical HO structure. Prinplup + Band Golem is an old ORAS PU core, but still works pretty well. Shiftry provides a ghost-check and strong priority, and Scarf Pom-Pom isn't the best mon but it does provide a secondary fighting resist and revenge killer immune to Spikes. Team lacks switch-ins to a lot of pokemon so you have to play super aggressively.

Week 2: Kiyo vs Ares (W)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 4.35.11 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/8c1f591677fb6512

A team I built really quick around a lot of pokemon using Volt Switch and U-turn, paired with Band Aggron to give that some free switches. Ignore the weird EVs on Lanturn. The team's also pretty Archeops weak but it would be tough to change it up while still keeping the same structure.

Finals vs Dibs (W)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 4.39.37 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/649e2014bce51e3e

I went through a decent amount of teams with several versions for the finals vs Dibs. I originally wanted to bring a more standard balance around Oricorio-G, but I thought it would be a waste if I used this huge opportunity and not bring something cool. So I built around Ludicolo paired with Rain Dance Skuntank. I also swapped Scarf Primeape with Scarf Mesprit and changed it to Band last minute, noticing Dibs was usually weak to Band Primeape. Unfortunately this team did turn out quite a bit weak to Swanna, which was a huge oversight on my part, though I still was able to win due to careful pivoting. If you want a more standard build that fixes up major weaknesses you can easily replace Ludicolo with Lanturn.

ORAS:

Week 2 vs Teddeh (W)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 4.58.03 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/9f38d50b36ef3eae

I did a bit more prep than usual for Teddeh because of how good he is at ORAS PU. I knew I wanted to build around Specs Glaceon, since it's a great breaker of the slow balances he tends to prefer, and is just an underrated mon in general. However, covering its weaknesses was quite tricky. I eventually ended up with a fairly standard FWG bulky balance, with a few techs like Max SpD Beheeyem and Roar Golem to phaze SpeedPass Combusken and bulky normal-types. However, I did end up much weaker to Toxic than I wanted, so Beheeyem is easily replaceable with something like Duosion if you want.

BW:

I built this team originally for Omfuga Week 3, using some of his favorite mons like Natu, Combusken, and Band Banette. He ended up using a version of this where he swapped Vigoroth out for Chinchou and Simipour for Scarf Rampardos. However, I like how my own version turned out and I don't have his so I decided I might as well share.

Week 4: Feliburn vs tko (W)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 7.15.21 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/07d2bd6b312ac28c

This was a fairly standard Spikes team I built for Feliburn as he had never seen the tier before and wanted something easy to use. Simple stuff here with priority, a breaker, a few revenge killers, and an underrated win condition in CM Golduck.

Week 5: Feliburn vs Robert Alfons (L)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 7.24.45 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/d2d2f69791cb78a9

I built this team to be a changeup from the usual stuff you see in the DPP PU meta, using stuff like the Omfuga-inspired Band Banette and NP Monferno surrounded by a solid defensive core. This team wasn't exactly my best work, being a bit over-reliant on Purugly and Monferno to pull weight against offense and bulky teams respectively. However, Feliburn still managed to make the match pretty close despite some early-game hax.

ADV:

Week 4 vs Kushalos (L)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 7.35.54 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/95231a57a369305f

This is one of my more unusual ADV builds, but I think it holds up well as long as you can play smart. I built it around mixed Weepinbell, a cool set I invented which as an awesome wallbreaker despite its mediocre speed tier. Unfortunately for me, Kushalos brought both Vibrava and Rest Dragonair, which had great matchups vs my team, and I played poorly and switched my Volbeat on an untimely crit.

Week 5 vs Ajna (W)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 7.39.43 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/63413149b0911ee8

I decided to go with Sub Sealeo again (s/o Pearl for making me realize how great this thing is) but this time with a more standard offensive route. Despite the weakness to opposing Sealeo, this team is very solid and plays like a well-oiled machine with a special tank, wallbreaker, win condition, revenge killer, etc.

Finals: Feliburn vs ggggd (L)
Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 7.41.32 PM.png

http://pokepast.es/e822a1cc7a8dae09

Despite the loss, this might be my favorite ADV PU team so far. I wanted to build around Houndour since it can deal with pokemon ggggd commonly uses like Duskull and Drowzee, and I paired this with Aipom to take advantage of Pursuit trap. To support this offensive core, I have Omanyte to provide Spikes and an offensive Masquerain to lure pokemon like Adamant Combusken (still not a proper ground-resist again but w/e), and as usual Minun to revenge kill and Ivysaur as my special tank/Toxic Absorber. The team actually had quite a decent matchup vs ggggd's team but unfortunately he knew the meta much better than Feliburn and so he was able to win.
