Other Features Pokemon Organized Play!

Hello there, I was wondering if I could write an article on the recent Regionals tournament for both VGC and TCG, and how the metagames (Top 8s) would affect the next tournament in the series which is; SPT (State Province Territories)

Please consider it thanks :]

sorry here is a small sample

The "Rogue" Deck

Rogue - noun - A usually inferior organism, especially a plant, varying markedly from the normal.

Don't understand?
Rogue can mean something that isn't normal. Now combine rogue with deck, you get rogue deck, and its exactly what it sounds like. Its a barely seen deck, that actually works. There have been rogue decks that have worked great in major tournaments, such as Ross Cawthon's "The Truth" that got him second place at the World Championships in 2011. S/O to Ross Cawthon.

Why are some rogue decks so deadly?
The reason why rogue decks are so deadly is because, no player has any knowledge of a rogue deck. You can't put in counters to the rogue deck since you don't know what it is. Often, rogue decks can even be considered "anti-meta" decks, where the rogue deck is actually countering the most common decks in the format.

In addition to deadly, what else can rogue decks do?
Well the other thing rogue decks can do, is make your tournament experience a lot more enjoyable. Playing a rogue decks, not only requires skill, but requires a lot of thinking both in and out of the tournament. At home, one must take lots of time to know what the meta can be countered by, and how your rogue deck will work. Normally, one would need to take a look at the cards that normally, don't see play. But if one does manage to pull off a rogue deck, its great fun.
