With only 3 total votes, erisia wins! Congrats n_n

This week I went with a Pokemon I recently did in the last iteration of Matchmaking and it is still just as powerful.

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stone Edge
- Acrobatics
- Earth Power
- Roost

Archeops is a very fast and powerful threat that is held back by a very bad ability and common weaknesses such as Ice and Water.

Submissions end on Friday.

Shiftry @ Black Glasses
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Seed Bomb

plantman is cool as a partner cause u can mess with common arch answers like fat psychics, especially bronzor, as well as checking gastro and lanturn. sucker is neat for scarftom as well. on the other hand archeops checks stuff like offensive fires yama (without bp which is a poop move on it) and softens up garbodor. neither of these things are really that common in this meta but i think its a nice combo overall

Skuntank @ Shuca Berry / Life Orb
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid / Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Defog

Similar to Bouff's Shiftry another Dark-type that partners well with Archeops is Special Skuntank. Archeops is annoyed by bulky ground and steel types like Rhydon, Steelix, and Gastro which Skunk conveniently lures in and bops with Fire Blast and HP Grass respectively. Skunk can also Defog away Rocks which is greatly appreciated to keep Archeops out of Defeatist. Lastly, this Arch set struggles with Bronzor which Skunk switches into 100% of the time and 2hko's with Dark Pulse which can be helpful in clearing the path for Arch to sweep.

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance

Ludicolo is a fine partner for Archeops as it deals with Rock, Steel and Water types. Ludicolo offers a Water and Steel resist which Archeops benefits from. Archeops takes care of Bug and Flying types that threaten Ludicolo.

Hitmonchan @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat / Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
- Rapid Spin

Hitmonchan is a cool partner for Archeops due to the great offensive synergy between strong Fighting- and Flying-type attacks and Hitmonchan's ability to provide Rapid Spin support to help keep Archeops out of Defeatist range. Drain Punch is more reliable but Close Combat is very powerful and can help overwhelm some of Archeops' checks more easily.

I can't claim to have invented this set, but whirlpool/toxic Kangaskhan does an admirable job of luring in, and taking down most of archeops's checks fairly easily. None of Quagsire, Steelix, Rhydon, or regirock really appreciate taking the 4-5 turns of whirlpool damage, especially when a toxic is ticking down on them. Additionally, none of those mons really have efficient ways to kill it (barring SD rhydon) when invested in bulk. Once lured in, and heavily worn down, archeops can often tear through a team.

Kangaskhan (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Whirlpool
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss

16+ Atk Rhydon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Kangaskhan: 138-163 (33.3 - 39.3%) -- 17.2% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
136+ Atk Steelix Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Kangaskhan: 132-156 (31.8 - 37.6%) -- 0.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Quagsire Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Kangaskhan: 85-102 (20.5 - 24.6%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
184 Atk Regirock Drain Punch vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Kangaskhan: 118-140 (28.5 - 33.8%) -- 97.6% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Sorry about the double span of this "week", but since this got responses this week, it is time to vote.

Voting ends on Monday.

Thanks to cute user Earth the tie has been broken and Bouff is the winner. Congrats n_n

This week, I decided to go with a very powerful balance breaker.

Haunter @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Substitute
- Pain Split

Submissions end Friday or whenever we get some.

Shiftry @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Leaf Storm
- Explosion

Boom Shiftry is the classic partner for Haunter, being a sick lure for Skuntank and a solid check to Scarf Rotom. Also lures in Garbodor and Vileplume which Haunter fares very well against, as well as even Knocking Off Hariyama's Assault Vest, making it easier for Haunter to clean.

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Scarf Ape can be a useful partner for Haunter as it outspeeds a good amount of threats Haunter has trouble with like Pyroar, Tauros and Swellow. Ape can also soften up spdef mons like Hariyama and Lanturn. Haunter deals with mons like Gourgeist and Mega Audino that completely wall Primeape.

Congrats to Eternally for nabbing the only vote this week.

This week, I decided to go with a cool win con I have enjoyed using quite a bit.

Shiftry @ Lum Berry / BlackGlasses
Ability: Early Bird / Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Seed Bomb
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

Submissions end on Friday.

Magmortar @ Life Orb
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Grass
- Flame Charge / Earthquake

Magmortar makes a pretty good partner for SD Shiftry. It's able to come in and threaten Pokemon which commonly check SD Shiftry such as Vilepume, Skuntank and Weezing. It's also take out Garbodor which isn't too healthy for SD Shiftry due to Rocky Helmet + Aftermath which cripples it severely. In return, SD Shiftry can weaken the likes of Lanturn and Rhydon.

Hariyama @ Choice Band
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 108 Def / 112 SpD / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Band Yama beats the shit out of Skuntank, lures Garbodor with Earthquake to prevent Aftermath garbage from happening, and appreciates Shiftry as a partner due to its ability to heavily pressure opposing bulky Psychic-types and 1v1 Will-o-Wisp Ghost-types with Lum Berry.
