[OVERVIEW]

* Mandibuzz is a valuable Defoggers as it is able to gain favourable match ups against certain Stealth Rock users such as Empoleon or Nidoking.
* Mandibuzz boasts a stellar 110 / 105 / 95 defensive stat spread in addition to decent defensive typing. It's typing in conjunction with it's bulk allows Mandibuzz to check several offensive powerhouses like Nidoqueen or Hydreigon
* It's also an excellent utility Pokemon due to access to moves such as Knock Off, Taunt, Defog and Roost.
* Incredibly weak to Fairy-types such as Clefable or Togekiss which are common. In addition to this it is vulnerable to other fairly common Pokemon such as Cobalion.
* Without Foul Play it is extremely passive and is set up fodder for several Pokemon such as Bisharp or Mega Absol.

Moves
========

* Roost allows Mandibuzz to remain healthy throughout the course of the battle which is essential for Mandibuzz to be able to perform its utility function.
* Knock Off weakens special attackers such as Hydreigon or Nidoqueen, by removing their damage boosting item which allows Mandibuzz to be able to wall them.
* Foul Play helps Mandibuzz alleviate it's passivity against set up sweepers such as Mega Absol or Bisharp.
* Defog allows Mandibuzz to clear entry hazards.
* Taunt prevents Pokemon such as Hippowdon from being able to recover against Mandibuzz
* Toxic allows Mandibuzz to cripple Pokemon such as Unaware Clefable or Alomomola that would be a bigger nuisance to it otherwise.

Set Details
========

* The given EV spread allows Mandibuzz to be able to take on special attackers such as Nidoking, while also outspeeding Adamant Crawdaunt and also retaining a favourable HP number to switch in on Stealth Rock.
* Mandibuzz should be running Careful so as to not reduce Knock Off's damage while also increasing it's Special Defence to take on Special Attackers.
* Overcoat is the only ability it should be running as with it, it is able to switch into Pokemon such as Amoongus freely.
* Leftovers is the item of choice as it provides passive recovery and increases Mandibuzz's longevity.
* A Physically Defensive EV spread is also an option to better take on Bisharp, Mega Absol, Scizor and the likes.
* Using a Calm nature is also a possibility but it should only be done under the condition that Mandibuzz is not wielding Knock Off.

Usage Tips
========

* Mandibuzz fits best on defensive teams that appreciate it's ability to check Psychic-types such as Reuniclus.
* Due to Mandibuzz's excellent defences it can be used to switch in against specially offensive Pokemon.
* Mandibuzz needs to remain extremely healthy in order to check Pokemon such as Nidoking. Therefore Roost should be used liberally.
* Mandibuzz can directly switch in on several Stealth Rock users and proceed to immediately Defog thus keeping its side of the battlefield, hazard free.
* Foul Play should typically be used if Mandibuzz predicts an opponent to set up with Pokemon such as Haxorus or Mega Absol.
* Taunt should be used in order to prevent the opposition from poisoning, burning or paralysing Mandibuzz as well as to prevent them from recovering or setting up entry hazards.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon that can take on Fairy-types are vital, therefore Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Chandelure and Tentacruel make for good partners.
* Fighting-types are also threatening to Mandibuzz therefore Fairy-types and Psychic-types such as Clefable and Reuniclus pair well with it.
* If Mandibuzz is not running Defog, hazard removers like Mega Blastoise, Tentacruel and Starmie work well. Without entry hazards Mandibuzz is able to perform its role the best.
* Mandibuzz is susceptible to status therefore pairing it with Aromatherapy or Heal Bell users such as Blissey and Clefable is important.
* Electric-tye answers are also needed, making Hippowdon and Swampert, good partners.

Other Options
=============

* Whirlwind allows Mandibuzz to be able to phase Pokemon. Works well if something tries to set up against it
* U-turn allows Mandibuzz to shift momentum back in its favour.
* Heat Wave ensures that Mandibuzz is able to remove Foretress and Scizor
* Brave Bird is another STAB option that allows Mandibuzz to break Pokemon such as Heracross.
* Tailwind is a move that Mandibuzz can use to support it's teammates by increasing their speed.
* Punishment can be used in order to check bulky set up sweepers such as Reuniclus.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Mandibuzz is unable to touch fairy types outside of Toxic / Knock Off and even then it's extremely threatened by almost all of them. Examples of these are Primarina, Clefable and Rimbombee.

**Fighting-types**: As Mandibuzz struggles to fit Brave Bird onto its moveset it often finds itself on the back foot against several Fighting-types such as Cobalion, Lucario and Infernape. Cobalion and Lucario get a special mention because of their ability Justified, which raises their attack why struck by a Dark-type move. Mandibuzz needs to rely on its teammates in order to handle them.

**Electric-types**: Pokemon such as Raikou, Magneton and Rotom formes are able to threaten Mandibuzz with their Electric-type attacks how ever they all have to be weary of Knock Off as their damage output will be crippled without a boosting item.

**Status**: Poison and Burn damage hinder Mandibuzz's defensive capabilities and result in it being worn down very quickly.

**Taunt**: As Mandibuzz relies mainly on support moves to function effectively it being Taunted cripples it. Therefore it tends to struggle against Pokemon with access to it such as Hydreigon and Nidoking.

**Stealth Rock**: Manidbuzz is unable to switch into several Pokemon it would be able to wall otherwise with Stealth Rock up such as Nidoking. Pokemon such as Aerodactyl and Gigalith have access to Stealth Rock and are able to directly pressure Mandibuzz, deterring it from using Defog.

Toxic doesn't cripple Clef unless you play the uncommon Unaware sets. I would remove it from Toxic targets or mention "Unaware Clefable"

Just go 56 evs at that point to cover adamant Crawdaunt.

In the Overview, mention what Mandibuzz's main role is first. Give examples of what its typing and bulk allow it to take on well. List a few Fairy-types that can take advantage of it, and potentially mention Cobalion.

Explain how Knock Off weakens Hydreigon and Nidoqueen. I don't think Togekiss is a good example of a Toxic target, as many carry Heal Bell and unlike Clefable, they are faster so you cannot Taunt them.

Add a Calm nature to set details, and explain that it is only used if Mandibuzz is not running Knock Off.

"* Roost should be used liberally as if Mandibuzz isn't healthy it struggles to check Pokemon such as Nidoking."

I know what you mean, but you need to reword this one.

"* Due to Mandibuzz's excellent defences it can be used to switch in against specially offensive Pokemon."

This one should be moved up; it should be the second bullet point in Usage Tips.

"* Pokemon that can take on Fairy-types are vital, therefore Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Chandelure and Tentacruel."

This sentence is unfinished.

Since you mention Fighting-types as checks to Mandibuzz, give a special mention to Cobalion due to its ability, and explain how it can be handled by teammates. Tentacruel should also be mentioned as a spinner that pairs well with Mandibuzz. Electric-type answers need to be added to Team Options. Hippowdon springs to mind, as it takes on Magneton and Raikou rather well.

Electric-types need to be added to Checks and Counters. Cobalion is not a good example of Taunt users that beat it, as Cobalion beats it regardless of whether it carries Taunt or not. Examples such as Nidoking, Mew and Hydreigon are better. In the Stealth Rock part, mention some Pokemon that beat Mandibuzz and can set up Stealth Rock.

Great work, QC 1/3 after implementing these changes.

i believe i did this, ready for 2nd check

On the first set there definitely should not be an option between foul play and knock off since foul play is much better. You don't have to rely on mandibuzz having high attack, since you just have to have the opponent be decently powerful. Also, even with the item removal, a stab foul play does a whopping 130.5! It can take out a lot of not-so-tanky mon in uu, like arcanine and gengar. Also, mandibuzz has decent speed to out speed slower mon, and has nice tankiness to take things like choiced shadow balls from gengar and other choices switch-ins.

No, knock off and foul play are both usable on mandibuzz. knock off, as mentioned earlier, allows it to check threats like hydreigon and keldeo more consistently by removing their potential power-boosting items, not to mention that it can cripple switch-ins such as clefable, raikou, and togekiss. Foul play is a less preferred option to punish physical set-up sweepers and attackers, but the utility knock off provides is generally more useful in most scenarios than foul play, which is somewhat situational.
