  • Landorus is one of the strongest offensive Pokemon in the metagame with its powerful Sheer Force and Life Orb boosted attacks that threaten much of the tier for super effective damage, including many metagame staples such as Archaludon, Incineroar, Raging Bolt, and others. It excels at forcing the opponent into defensive positions, creating opportunities to play aggressively with Landorus and its teammates.
  • Earth Power serves as Landorus’s primary STAB option, capable of annihilating targets weak to it and putting massive dents in most neutral targets. Sludge Bomb is another integral part of Landorus’s toolkit, allowing it to hit the Grass- and Flying-types that resist or are immune to its Ground-type moves, such as Rillaboom, Ogerpon-W, and Tornadus. Tera Poison elevates Sludge Bomb to a STAB move, which secures the OHKO on Assault Vest Rillaboom, bulky Ogerpon-W, and Alolan Ninetales as long as Aurora Veil is not active.
  • Sandsear Storm gives Landorus the option of a strong spread move, making it even more difficult to play around, and preventing foes with Follow Me or Rage Powder from redirecting its attacks. This move is especially potent when used in the rain as it becomes a 100% accurate spread move, allowing Landorus to reliably apply offensive pressure to both targets simultaneously.
  • Alternatively, Substitute gives Landorus the ability to safely fire off strong Earth Powers and Sludge Bombs while simultaneously attracting attention to itself which can supply its teammates with opportunities to set up or attack on their own. Substitute guarantees that Landorus will survive at least one attack while behind it, which it appreciates given its mediocre bulk that ordinarily leaves it vulnerable to getting OHKOed by super effective attacks or getting KOed by priority moves when weakened. Landorus’s offensive pressure forces the opponent into a lot of switches and Protects, creating many opportunities for it to set up a Substitute. This is especially true when it is paired with Pokemon who can apply Fake Out pressure, such as Rillaboom and Incineroar.
  • While Tera Poison increases Landorus’s offensive capabilities, a more defensive route can also be taken with Tera Steel, which turns its glaring 4x Ice-type weakness into a resistance, allowing it to flip the script on foes that would normally force it out such as Chien-Pao, Kyurem, and Alolan Ninetales. Additionally, Steel is a generally useful defensive typing with many miscellaneous resistances, including to common attacks such as Rillaboom’s Grassy Glide and Tornadus’s Bleakwind Storm, among others.
  • Landorus appreciates teammates who can set up Tailwind such as Tornadus or Whimsicott, as it is naturally outsped and threatened with super effective damage by common Pokemon such as Ogerpon-W, Chien-Pao, and Alolan Ninetales. Effective speed control and positioning can allow Landorus to gain the advantage on these foes and others, making Pokemon who can supply redirection support useful teammates as well, including Indeedee-F, Ogerpon-W, and Sinistcha. Teammates who struggle either offensively or defensively against Fire and Steel types, such as Gholdengo, Kyurem, and Kingambit, also appreciate Landorus's ability to neutralize those threats.

  • Landorus is one of the strongest offensive Pokemon in the metagame with its powerful Sheer Force and Life Orb boosted attacks that threaten much of the tier for super effective or neutral damage. It excels at forcing the opponent into defensive positions such as switching out or using Protect which can force KOs for Landorus and open up opportunities for its teammates.

  • Sandsear Storm gives Landorus the option of a strong spread move, making it even more difficult to play around. This move is especially potent when used in the rain as it becomes 100% accurate, allowing Landorus to apply huge amounts of offensive pressure completely reliably. emphasize that it's particularly useful due to the amount of redirection in the tier
  • Alternatively, Substitute gives Landorus the ability to safely fire off strong Earth Powers and Sludge Bombs while simultaneously attracting attention to itself which can supply its teammates with opportunities to set up or attack on their own. With the amount of switches and Protects that Landorus forces, it often does not have a difficult time finding an opportunity to get behind a Substitute. This is especially true when it is paired with Pokemon who can apply pressure with Fake Out can prob change this to " apply Fake Out pressure", such as Rillaboom and Incineroar.

Effective speed control and positioning can allow Landorus to gain the advantage on these foes and others. Landorus can also be effectively paired with teammates who appreciate its ability to generate free turns through offensive pressure and deal with Fire and Steel types, such as Gholdengo, Kyurem, and Kingambit. this last sentence should be reworded slightly - the info is correct but the way it's written is a bit confusing. lead with the pokemon who are good partners and then describe the reason landorus helps them i.e. "teammates such as x y and z appreciate landorus' ability to... etc"

you may also want to be more specific with the mons it's particularly good into without teraing, such as arch and iron hands

  • Landorus is one of the strongest offensive Pokemon in the metagame with its powerful Sheer Force and Life Orb boosted attacks that threaten much of the tier for super effective damage, including many metagame staples such as Archaludon, Incineroar, Raging Bolt, and others. It excels at forcing the opponent into defensive positions such as switching out or using Protect which can force KOs for Landorus and open up opportunities for its teammates. I'd want to reword this last sentence into something more concise like "It excels at forcing the opponent into defensive positions, creating opportunities to play aggressive with Landorus and its teammates."
  • While Earth Power serves as Landorus’s primary STAB option, capable of annihilating targets weak to it and putting massive dents even in most neutral targets,. Sludge Bomb is another integral part of its Landorus’s toolkit, allowing it to hit the Grass- and Flying-types that resist or are immune to its Ground-type moves, such as Rillaboom, Ogerpon-W, and Tornadus. Tera Poison elevates Sludge Bomb to a STAB move, which secures the OHKO on Assault Vest Rillaboom, bulky Ogerpon-W, and Alolan Ninetales so as long as Aurora Veil is not active.
  • Sandsear Storm gives Landorus the option of a strong spread move, making it even more difficult to play around, and preventing foes with Follow Me or Rage Powder from disrupting its momentum. I'd probably just go with "redirecting its attacks" instead of mentioning momentum as that feels a little vague. This move is especially potent when used in the rain as it becomes 100% accurate, allowing Landorus to apply huge amounts of offensive pressure completely reliably. I think I'd try and focus specifically on spread being 100% accurate as to me Landorus already applies a ton of offensive pressure reliably with its main attacks.
Reword to somehthing like "Landorus's offensive pressure forces a lot of switches and Protects, creating a lot of opportunities to set up a Substitute". This is especially true when it is paired with Pokemon who can apply Fake Out pressure, such as Rillaboom and Incineroar. I'd also want to mention somewhere here that Landorus especially appreciates the artificial bulk from Substitute because it is really frail and a lot of stuff threaten it with an OHKO, or if low it can get picked off by priority.
Also mention Steel being a generally great defensive typing overall, Fairy and Psychic are less relevant now but still nice to have (very nice vs psyspam) and resisting Grass is really good for the Rillaboom matchup, cause iirc it usually gets 2hkod by Glide?
  • Landorus appreciates teammates who can set up Tailwind such as Tornadus or Whimsicott, as it is naturally outsped and threatened with super effective damage by common Pokemon such as Ogerpon-W, Chien-Pao, and Alolan Ninetales. Effective speed control and positioning can allow Landorus to gain the advantage on these foes and others. Teammates who struggle either offensively or defensively against Fire and Steel types, such as Gholdengo, Kyurem, and Kingambit, also appreciate Landorus's ability to neutralize those threats. Might want to mention it appreciates disruption/redirection support and some mons when talking about how positioning can help Landorus.
