Resource LC in SPL 8: Replays and Team Dump!

I wanted to take note on some rising stars in SPLC 8, so here goes (also note that these aren't the exact sets used but I tried to make them accurate):
Bulbasaur @ Eviolite / Poisonium Z / Normalium Z / Grassium Z
Ability: Chlorophyll
Level: 5
EVs: 76 Def / 196 SpA / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Solar Beam
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sleep Powder / Growth / Celebrate
With double sun sweepers becoming more and more of a common archetype, Bulbasaur has been front and center. Because it is bulkier than Bellsprout and can outspeed +2 14 Speed Vullaby, +2 Torchic, and +1 Ponyta under sun. It can also run Z-Celebrate to surprise foes switching out and sweep, even after sun goes down. While Bellsprout is the straight glass cannon sun sweeper, Bulbasaur provides a nice alternative or partner to Bellsprout as it is bulkier and has more variety in set up.
Being used in Week 1 by madoka and Week 3 by ict and Levi, be sure to remember this thing as a staying threat.

With Omanyte's recent fall in popularity and the rise of memes, SLAM CLAM has seen a spike in usage. Its exclusive item makes it quite powerful, and its base stats are nothing to scoff at. After a Shell Smash, not much can stop it bar a small list of specific checks. It is almost impossible to revenge kill by anything bar sun, and can truly tear through teams if used properly.
With usage in Week 2 from Levi and Heysup, expect this lil clam to give a fight for a team slot over Omanyte.
Kabuto @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5
EVs: 116 HP / 196 Atk / 196 Def
- Aqua Jet
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock / Knock Off
- Rock Slide / Waterfall / Knock Off
Kabuto seems, more and more, to be a great sleeper Pokemon for setting up rocks and clearing opposing hazards. With the buff to Weak Armor, Kabuto has suddenly risen to easily the top 5 hazard removers in the tier, maybe even top 3, as its ability to safely switch into almost any Vullaby set and deter Rapid Spin makes it invaluable in certain team comps. It can also run Knock Off to cripple the ever growing Pumpkaboo and any bulky threat really. As priority has been becoming more and more useful with the rise of Weak Armor Vullaby, a good priority user who isn't easily taken care of by Vullaby is extremely useful. Doduo and Rufflet's rise have also made checking Flying-types quite hard, since they use Jump Kick and Superpower respectively, but Kabuto can come in handle for this, too.
With use in Week 1 coming out from Heysup and Levi, and in Week 3 from ZoroDark, expect to see this thing become a threat in SM LC!
