Moves
========
  • Draco Meteor is Mega Latios's strongest STAB move, and easily OHKOs common Pokemon such as Greninja and Landorus-T
  • Psychic is secondary STAB and has a chance to 2HKO Clefable.
  • Earthquake differentiates Mega Latios from non-Mega Latios, as Mega Latios’s significantly higher base Attack gives it the power to OHKO Heatran and 2HKO Magearna and Choice Band Tyranitar.
  • Roost provides Mega Latios with recovery, giving it the longevity to last throughout the match.
Set Details
=======

  • Maximum Speed investment with a Naive nature allows Mega Latios to outspeed Pokemon such as Swords Dance Kartana, Calm Mind Keldeo, and Mega Pinsir.
  • Maximum Special Attack investment ensures Mega Latios hits as hard as possible.
  • A Naive nature is preferred so Latios may pivot in on strong Grass-types such as Fightinium Z Kartana more easily.
  • Levitate is Mega Latios’s only ability but very useful, giving it an immunity to Earthquake, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes

Usage Tips
========

  • Mega Latios functions very similarly to Latios, with the important caveat that Mega Latios detests being burned before it can lure Magearna, Tyranitar, and Heatran.
  • Earthquake is generally very safe to click when your opponent has a Magearna or Tyranitar, as these tend to be fairly blindly pivoted into Mega Latios.

Team Options
========

  • Magnezone is a mandatory teammate to trap Ferrothorn and Celesteela - Substitute + Electrium Z and Scarf sets are both good partners for Mega Latios. The former traps Celesteela and Ferrothorn more reliably, whereas the latter checks Mega Pinsir and traps Swords Dance Kartana while allowing another teammate to run a Z-Crystal.
  • Ferrothorn is a good partner to check Choice Specs Tapu Koko, Ash-Greninja, and Magearna for Mega Latios

Describe some teammates that would be a good idea to pair with this Pokemon.
