t I was perusing the site yesterday and noticed that the entire GS items database is blank... and considering that all of the Gold / Silver analyses link to an item page that.... isn't there... I thought I would just take it upon myself to compile a list of the GS items.

http://www.smogon.com/gs/items/

That's the blank page.

They are already in SCMS format that I found from this thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47102

I just pulled up the /gs/items section on the SCMS and it appears some of these are already on SCMS (not sure if they are all loaded); it's just that chaos has not created an actually page for them yet.

I'll add the ones that aren't in the SCMS database though so when the pages are created it will all be ready.

Edit: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32982

The SCMS database may already be up to date (it doesn't show all the items for some reason) since there was already a project for it. I'll check on that though.

Had a quick look through, looks good, but 'critical hit' isn't capitalized.

I had Sarenji give it a once over on IRC. He caught a lot of mistakes that I had.

I also corrected the mistakes Havak / diinbong found.

So uh, the page for GS items is still blank, and these are just sitting here collecting dust. Is there a reason for this?

Its also worth noting that the "change preferences" link is not applicable to items, so should probably not be on that page.

First of all, apologies for the late reply, but it hasn't been replied to so I will do so anyway.

It's not the problem with the information. Some of the information on /gs/items/ is currently on the SCMS (link just for you). It is all cached, all correctly formatted and so on. I could upload these and cache them over and over but they wouldn't show up - as far as I know it's something further. I nudged ryu about it a while back to see if he could take a look further but I haven't heard back so I'll ask him again when I next see him!

Anyway thanks for posting the full list, some of them aren't on the SCMS yet. I'll wait to hear back from ryu before uploading any more (as it wouldn't show anything anyway).

This is now fixed. All items have been uploaded to the SCMS, and they are being added to the database as I type this; they will show up. Thanks Colin & Jumpluff (locking).
