[OVERVIEW]

Dratini is able to perform as both a threatening wallbreaker and a late-game cleaner due to its access to strong offensive moves like Draco Meteor, Iron Tail, and Extreme Speed and a strong setup option in Dragon Dance. Its two main options are a mixed attacking set that utilizes Dratini's high-Base Power moves and good coverage to weaken the opposing team for sweepers or clean late-game and a sweeping set that utilizes Dragon Dance, since +1 Dratini is both fast and strong enough to clean up weakened teams. Dratini also has a useful ability in Shed Skin, allowing it to occasionally cure itself of debilitating status conditions like paralysis and burn. Dratini's typing is a mixed blessing, sporting very useful resistances to Water- and Electric-type moves but leaving it weak to moderately common Fairy- and Ice-type attacks. Dratini's positive qualities are also offset by its average-at-best stats, with low bulk and only middling power and Speed before a boost. Dratini further suffers from having common counters such as Snubbull, Magnemite, and Spritzee.

Moves
========

Draco Meteor is Dratini's strongest attack and provides a nuke for Dratini to hit the many neutral targets in the metagame such as Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Chinchou. Extreme Speed allows Dratini to defeat faster weakened Pokemon such as Doduo and Abra. Iron Tail is used almost entirely for opposing Fairy-types such as Snubbull and Spritzee, as it allows Dratini to hit them very hard, although its shaky accuracy makes it risky to use. Fire Blast rounds off Dratini's neutral coverage and is used to hit opposing Steel-types, which otherwise would completely wall this set, notably hitting targets such as Ferroseed and Pawniard while also allowing Dratini to heavily damage opposing bulky Grass-types like Foongus and Pumpkaboo-XL without needing to resort to Draco Meteor.

Set Details
========

Special Attack is maximized on this set because Draco Meteor is Dratini's attack of choice and also because it allows Fire Blast to hit much harder. The Speed EVs are designed to let Dratini hit 13 Speed, outspeeding many bulky Pokemon such as Pumpkaboo-XL, Timburr, Spritzee, and Croagunk, which are usually slower. The rest of the EVs are poured into Attack to allow Dratini to 2HKO Spritzee without prior damage using Iron Tail more consistently as well as providing Extreme Speed with more power. A Rash nature boosts Dratini's Special Attack without lowering its Attack. Life Orb allows Dratini to make up for its average attacking stats. 17 HP IVs are used to make Dratini hit 19 HP in order to take only 1 HP of damage from Life Orb recoil. Shed Skin is Dratini's best ability for this set, allowing Dratini to potentially cure burns and paralysis, which cripple its ability to perform.

Usage Tips
========

Dratini's goal with this set is mainly to weaken the opposing team for its teammates. Prediction when using this set is important, as hitting Fairy- or Steel-type switch-ins with the appropriate coverage move allows Dratini to defeat them more efficiently. Dratini's fairly low bulk and lack of recovery mean it is best brought in after a teammate faints or by a slow pivot so it avoids taking damage. Dratini can be used as a revenge killer or late-game cleaner for heavily weakened Pokemon due to Extreme Speed, but Extreme Speed's lack of STAB may cause it to struggle to achieve KOs.

Team Options
========

Dratini greatly appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon like Onix, as this allows it to wallbreak much more effectively. Similarly, Knock Off support means Dratini is capable of breaking through bulky foes like Spritzee, Vullaby, and Foongus without nearly as much difficulty. Sticky Web support allows Dratini to defeat faster Pokemon that would normally beat it, Speed tying with 20 Speed Pokemon like Diglett and outpacing 19 Speed Pokemon such as Staryu and Aipom. Sweepers that need certain Pokemon weakened or defeated appreciate Dratini's ability to break down walls, especially sweepers such as Scraggy and Shellder that appreciate Dratini defeating the Fairy- or Steel-types Dratini lures in. Steel-types such as Ferroseed and Magnemite resist both of Dratini's weaknesses, and Ferroseed can also provide entry hazard, Knock Off, and Thunder Wave support. Mienfoo lures in and weakens Fairy-types and can U-turn into Dratini to allow it to get in more safely, while Chinchou can bring Dratini in with Volt Switch. Diglett is capable of trapping most Steel-types due to its ability and can weaken or remove them for Dratini.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Dragon Dance allows Dratini to boost both its Speed and Attack to threatening levels, allowing it to sweep. Outrage is Dratini's most reliable physical STAB move, and at +1 with a Life Orb, it does massive damage to any foes that do not resist Dragon. Extreme Speed allows Dratini to pick off weakened Choice Scarf Pokemon like Mienfoo that outspeed Dratini even after a Dragon Dance boost as well as revenge kill weakened Pokemon before setting up. The last moveslot depends on which kind of coverage Dratini needs. Iron Tail is boosted by Dragon Dance and allows Dratini to defeat weakened Fairy-types like Spritzee, while Fire Blast is an alternative that lets Dratini take out Steel-types such as Ferroseed and Pawniard, which would otherwise wall the set.

Set Details
========

Attack and Speed are both maximized in order to allow Dratini to sweep effectively, with the given Speed EVs allowing Dratini to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after a Dragon Dance boost. If Fire Blast is used, Naughty is a better choice than Adamant because it allows Dratini to do more damage to Steel-types. A Jolly nature can be used in order to outspeed 14 Speed Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Frillish and Speed tie with 15 Speed Choice Scarf Pokemon like Timid Magnemite. Life Orb allows Dratini to overcome its average Attack and significantly boosts Dratini's power output after setting up. 17 HP IVs are used in order to reduce Life Orb recoil to 1 HP of damage. Shed Skin allows Dratini to potentially heal burns and paralysis, which completely cripple this set.

Usage Tips
========

Dratini is best used as a sweeper late-game after wearing down its checks and counters. Due to Dratini's lack of bulk, Dragon Dance is best used versus Pokemon Dratini threatens out such as weakened Croagunk and Chinchou without Ice Beam. Since Outrage locks Dratini into the move and is Dratini's best neutral option, Fairy-types such as Spritzee and Snubbull being eliminated is essential. Since Fire Blast is not boosted by Dragon Dance, Dratini appreciates Steel-types like Pawniard and Magnemite being weakened even if it runs Fire Blast as its coverage move. Dratini can also support other sweepers with similar checks such as Scraggy and Shellder by weakening these checks and counters and punching holes in the opponent's team.

Team Options
========

Like most sweepers, Dratini appreciates entry hazard support from teammates like Onix and Ferroseed to wear down Pokemon that would otherwise check it. Due to Dratini's relative frailty with a Life Orb, Memento support from Pokemon like Cottonee and Diglett or Aurora Veil support from Alolan Vulpix is helpful by allowing Dratini to set up more easily. Knock Off support from teammates such as Vullaby helps Dratini break through bulkier foes like Staryu and Pawniard more easily. Fighting-types such as Timburr and Mienfoo can defeat Steel-types that give Dratini trouble, provide Knock Off support, and lure in and weaken Fairy-types that would threaten Dratini's sweep, especially using super effective moves like Poison Jab. Diglett is capable of trapping and removing Steel-types that trouble Dratini and can also run Sludge Bomb to remove Fairy-types.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Thunder Wave is an option that allows Dratini to support the team and make up for its middling Speed but generally is not as useful as the coverage options on the mixed attacker set. Surf can be used on the mixed attacker set to 2HKO targets such as Mudbray and Ponyta more reliably than Draco Meteor due to the lack of Special Attack drop, so it is a worthwhile option if Dratini's teammates can handle the Fairy- or Steel-types it will struggle to damage due to a lack of Iron Tail or Fire Blast. Similarly, Waterfall can be used on the Dragon Dance set, but it leaves Dratini far more vulnerable to both Fairy- and Steel-types. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt hit very few targets Dratini cannot break already and are generally not worth using over other coverage options, but they have a niche for targets such as Staryu and Flying-types in general. While a fully special set is possible due to Dratini's good special movepool, a significant part of Dratini's viability comes from its access to Extreme Speed, and its job is overall done better by stronger and faster special attackers like Staryu. A RestTalk set with Eviolite, Marvel Scale, and Dragon Tail may seem useful, but Dratini's bulk is still mediocre and the set is mostly walled by either Steel- or Fairy-types, depending on the fourth move chosen. Eviolite can also be used on the Dragon Dance set, but it results in Dratini being significantly weaker and having far more issues breaking through opposing teams. Dragonium Z is an option over Life Orb on either set, giving Dratini a one-time nuke off its very high-Base Power Dragon-type STAB move without the downsides of either, but it leaves Dratini's other coverage moves severely weakened and makes Dratini's job after using Devastating Drake more difficult.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fairy-types**: While Fairy-types do have to watch out for Iron Tail, they are generally able to OHKO Dratini with little issue. Snubbull in particular is threatening due to Intimidate weakening Dratini.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Pawniard and Magnemite resist a majority of Dratini's moves, only needing to be wary of Fire Blast. Alolan Sandshrew can outspeed Dratini with a Choice Scarf and OHKO Dratini with its Ice-type STAB attack.

**Choice Scarf Users**: Fast Choice Scarf users such as Mienfoo and Doduo outspeed Dratini even after a Dragon Dance and do heavy damage due to Dratini's fairly low defenses, although they do need to watch out for Extreme Speed. Gastly is a notable Choice Scarf user that is also immune to Extreme Speed.

Overview
* Add in your line about Dratini's middling stats that it also has rather average Speed before a Dragon Dance boost.
* "Dratini also suffers from most teams having a way to check it without looking for a specific counter" - this line is a little vague, so I think it'd be best to elaborate a little in giving some examples of Pokemon that are seen frequently that check Dratini (Snubbull, Magnemite, and Alolan Grimer can all be used as examples)
* When talking about all the perks that come with using Dratini, say that its typing gives it useful resistances to common attack types in Fire, Water and Electric.
* I'd also add that despite its useful resistances, Dratini is also weak to common attack types in Fairy and Ice.
* Add that because of Dratini's flaws, it requires a lot of support if its trying to sweep late game.

SET: LIFE ORB MIXED ATTACKER
Set
Looks good

Moves
* Give some examples of Pokemon that take quite a bit of damage from Draco Meteor. Shellder, Vullaby and Mienfoo are all decent examples.
* Give examples of Fairy-type Pokemon hit by Iron Tail.
* Since your Fire Blast lines are about the same thing, it'd be best to condense the information from both lines into something like "Fire Blast is useful for hitting the Steel-types that would otherwise wall Dratini, such as Ferroseed and Pawniard, and is also useful for allowing Dratini to forego using Draco Meteor to hit bulky Grass-types like Foongus and Pumpkaboo-XL hard."

Set Details
Looks good!

Usage Tips
* This section's a bit empty, so I'd start by adding that Dratini's low bulk means that it is best brought in via slow pivot support or after a teammate has fainted.
* Say in your Extreme Speed line that due to the move's slight lack of power, most foes will have to be significantly weakened to be revenge killed.
* I'd also say something about using Extreme Speed before fainting just so Dratini can get some more chip damage on the foe before fainting.

Team Options
* Give examples of Pokemon capable of providing Dratini with entry hazard support
* Add Knock Off support, as it gives Dratini an easier time breaking past foes. Give examples of Pokemon that can use Knock Off to support Dratini.
* Add in your Steel-type line that Ferroseed can additionally provide Dratini with support in the forms on entry hazards, Knock Off, and speed control via Thunder Wave.
* Give some more examples of Pokemon capable of safely bringing Dratini in with slow pivot support. Chinchou and Larvesta are good ones.
* I'd honestly add Sticky Web support here, since that's a decent way to circumvent this set's fairly low Speed. Give Surskit as your primary example but also mention Spinarak.

SET: DRAGON DANCE
Set
Fine

Moves
* Looks good, just give examples of Choice Scarf users that are picked off by Extreme Speed but still outpace Dratini after a boost.
Set Details
* Give some examples of Choice Scarf users of both 14 and 15 Speed before the boost is factored in.

Usage Tips
* Add that even if it runs Fire Blast, it is best for Dratini to remove or weaken Steel-types before it attempts its sweep, as they can still be hard to break through with Fire Blast unless weakened.
* Also add that Dratini should take advantage of any forces it switches to set up with Dragon Dance.

Team Options
* Give examples of Pokemon that can provide Dratini with entry hazard support
* Give examples of Pokemon capable of supporting Dratini with Memento and clarify that Alolan Vulpix supports it with Aurora Veil.
* Specify in your Fighting-type line that Timburr and Mienfoo lure in and weaken Fairy-types.
* Again, add Knock Off support and give examples.

Other Options
* Mention in your Waterfall/Surf line that the move generally does provide as valuable of coverage as Dratini's other moves.
* I'd also mention in your RestTalk line that such a set is walled by Fairy-type Pokemon.
* Add that Thunderbolt and Ice Beam are options but are usually lacking in power and struggle to find use over any of Dratini's other moves.

Checks and Counters
* Give examples of Steel-type Pokemon. Mention Alolan Sandshrew specifically and say that while it cannot directly switch in, it can use STAB Icicle Spear to OHKO Dratini.
* Replace your Gastly example in the Choice Scarf users section, since you say that your examples need to watch out for Extreme Speed.

Implement these changes, and afterward give yourself 1/3

Surf could potentially be used on the Mixed Attacker set to hit targets such as Mudbray or Ponyta slightly harder than Draco Meteor
I would like to point out that this is incorrect, as Draco Meteor is stronger on the first hit. I'd rephrase it to say that Surf reliably 2HKOes these threats while they can heal out of Draco Meteor's 2HKO range or something.

Interestingly enough, because of how rolls work in LC, multipliers are very good, so surf his very slightly harder.

196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Surf vs. 0 HP / 76 SpD Eviolite Ponyta: 13-18 (61.9 - 85.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 76 SpD Eviolite Ponyta: 13-17 (61.9 - 80.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Surf vs. 116 HP / 236+ SpD Eviolite Mudbray: 13-16 (52 - 64%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Draco Meteor vs. 116 HP / 236+ SpD Eviolite Mudbray: 12-16 (48 - 64%) -- 96.5% chance to 2HKO

The exception is non-Eviolite Mudbray and Ponyta, which Draco Meteor hits slightly harder (better chance to OHKO).
196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Draco Meteor vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mudbray: 23-29 (92 - 116%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Surf vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Mudbray: 23-29 (92 - 116%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 76 SpD Ponyta: 21-25 (100 - 119%) -- guaranteed OHKO
196+ SpA Life Orb Dratini Surf vs. 0 HP / 76 SpD Ponyta: 18-23 (85.7 - 109.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

Regardless, edited to say that it reliably 2HKOs due to the lack of special attack drop. Also finally remembered to update title.

Ready for QC 2.

It's because while the max and min rolls are identical, the middle rolls are different. Bolded the rolls that don't OHKO.

[OVERVIEW]
  • The overview should start with Dratini's role and why it can perform this. Say something along the lines of 'Dratini is a fairly threatening wallbreaker or late-game cleaner thanks to access to moves such as Draco Meteor, Extreme Speed, Dragon Dance, and Iron Tail.' You can also split this into two sentences, where one of them talks about its wallbreaking role (first set) and the other about its cleaning role (second set). You still have to start with these though.
  • Change the order of sentences in the overview in general. Currently, it focuses on the DDance set, which is of course not the first set. Try to orientate it more towards the wallbreaking set
  • Mention it's pretty good ability in Shed Skin, which allows it to function as a status absorber of sorts

[SET]

good, though technically you're supposed to 17 HP IVs and not 0 (highest while still being 19 HP). Not that big an issue tho

it's been a long while since i've given anything an official qc check, so pardon if i miss some things or overstep bounds. i only picked at wording where i felt you could portray dratini more effectively.

[overview]

"Dratini also has an extremely useful ability in Shed Skin, allowing it to occasionally cure itself of debilitating status conditions like paralysis and burn." <- "extremely" might be overstating it some, it's just useful

[set details of LO mix]

"The Speed EVs are designed to let Dratini hit 13 Speed, outspeeding many slow, bulky Pokemon such as Pumpkaboo, Timburr, Spritzee, and Croagunk." <- while true, several of these pokemon CAN actually hit 13 spe, they just only rarely do so. is there a way to reword this so that a new player wouldn't assume those pokemon are always sub-13? also, do you need to specify that it's pump-super here, since pump-small typically goes 14 or faster?

[usage tips of LO mix]

"Dratini can be used as an effective revenge killer or late game cleaner due to Extreme Speed, but has issues coming in on even neutral attacks due to its moderately low bulk." <- is it really an effective revenge killer or late game cleaner? an un-stabbed 80 bp move is pretty weak and won't often clean. when it does, everything has to be like below 40%. rephrase this to make its effectiveness more accurate?

[team options of LO mix]

"Sticky Web support allows Dratini to defeat faster Pokemon that would normally beat it, such as Staryu and Aipom." <- is it worth noting that it outruns up to 19 spe pkmn under webs and ties 20 spe? i don't think it's terribly important to mention that but i also don't think it'd hurt

"Steel-types such as Ferroseed or Magnemite resist all of Dratini's weaknesses" <- very minor but "both" > "all", all implies that there are more than two

[oo]

"[surf > fire blast] ... and so is a worthwhile option if its teammates can handle the Fairy- or Steel-types Dratini then struggles to damage." <- cut fairy-types here? surf is not so much weaker than fire blast that it's irrelevant vs fairies, and iron tail is an option on both sets

"A RestTalk set with Marvel Scale and Dragon Tail may seem useful, but Dratini's bulk is still mediocre" <- something along the lines of "even with eviolite" here? the wording sorta implies eviolite, but does not specifically mention it

hope this covers everything, i think it looks fine otherwise. 3/3

[OVERVIEW]

Dratini is able to perform as both a threatening wallbreaker or and late-game cleaner due to its access to strong offensive moves like Draco Meteor, Iron Tail, and Extreme Speed and a strong setup option in Dragon Dance. Dratini has two main options - a mixed attacking set that utilizes Dratini's high base power moves and good coverage to weaken the opposing team for sweepers or clean lategame, and a sweeping set that utilizes Dragon Dance, since at +1 Dratini is both fast and strong enough to clean up weakened teams. Dratini also has a useful ability in Shed Skin, allowing it to occasionally cure itself of debilitating status conditions like paralysis and burn. Dratini's typing is a mixed blessing, proving very useful resistances to Water- and Electric-type moves, but leaving it weak to moderately common Fairy- and Ice-type attacks. These Dratini's positive qualities are also offset by its average-at-best but Dratini's average at best stats, with low bulk and only middling power and speed Speed before a boost. Dratini further suffers from most teams including counters to Dratini, as Pokemon having common counters such as Snubbull, Magnemite, and Spritzee are all common in the Little Cup metagame (it was fine grammatically, but changed for simplicity). Due to these issues, Dratini needs a fairly large amount of support to attempt to break teams or sweep, but is capable of being a devastating Pokemon for opponents to deal with.

Moves
========

Draco Meteor is Dratini's strongest attack and provides a nuke for Dratini to hit the many neutral targets in the meta such as Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Chinchou. Extreme Speed is one of Dratini's most unique qualities, allowing allows Dratini to defeat faster weakened Pokemon such as Doduo or and Abra. Iron Tail is used almost entirely for opposing Fairy-types such as Snubbull and Spritzee as it allows Dratini to hit them very hard, although its shaky accuracy makes it risky to attempt a knock out. Fire Blast rounds off Dratini's neutral coverage and is used to hit opposing Steel-types who which otherwise would completely wall this set, notably hitting targets such as Ferroseed and Pawniard, while also allowing Dratini to heavily damage opposing bulky Grass-types like Foongus and Pumpkaboo-Super Pumpkaboo-XL without needing to resort to Draco Meteor.

Set Details
========

Special Attack is maximized on this set due to Draco Meteor being Dratini's attack of choice,(RC) and also because it allows Fire Blast to hit much harder. The Speed EVs are designed to let Dratini hit 13 Speed, outspeeding many slow, bulky Pokemon such as Pumpkaboo-Super Pumpkaboo-XL, Timburr, Spritzee, and Croagunk, who which are usually slower. The rest of the EVs are poured into attack Attack to allow Dratini to 2HKO Spritzee without hazards using Iron Tail more consistently as well as providing Extreme Speed with more power. A Rash Nature nature boosts Dratini's Special attack Attack without lowering its attack Attack. Life Orb allows Dratini to make up for its average attacking stats. 17 HP IVs are used to make Dratini hit 19 HP and in order to take only 1 damage from Life Orb recoil. Shed Skin is Dratini's best ability for this set, allowing Dratini to potentially cure burns and paralysis that which cripple its ability to perform.

Usage Tips
========

Dratini's goal with this set is mainly to weaken the opposing team for its teammates. Prediction when using this set is important, as as hitting Fairy-type Fairy- or Steel-type switchins with the appropriate coverage move allows Dratini to defeat them more efficiently. Dratini's fairly low bulk and lack of recovery means it is best brought in after a teammate faints or by a slow pivot so it avoids taking damage. Dratini can be used as a revenge killer or late game late-game cleaner on heavily weakened Pokemon due to Extreme Speed, but has issues coming in on even neutral attacks due to its moderately low bulk and (established previously) due to because of Extreme Speed's lack of STAB it may struggle to achieve KOs.

Team Options
========

Dratini greatly appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon like Onix, as it allows Dratini to wallbreak much more effectively. Similarly, Knock Off support means Dratini is capable of breaking through bulky foes like Spritzee, Vullaby, and Foongus without nearly as much difficulty. Sticky Web support allows Dratini to defeat faster Pokemon that would normally beat it, tying with 20 speed Speed Pokemon like Diglett and outpacing 19 speed Speed Pokemon such as Staryu and Aipom. Sweepers who which need certain Pokemon weakened or defeated appreciate Dratini's ability to break down walls, especially sweepers who which appreciate the Fairy- or Steel-types Dratini lures in defeated such as Scraggy or and Sheller. Steel-types such as Ferroseed or and Magnemite resist both of Dratini's weaknesses, while Ferroseed can also provide hazard, Knock Off, and Thunder Wave support.

Outage Outrage is Dratini's most reliable physical STAB move, and at +1 with a Life Orb does massive damage to any opponents foes that do not resist the Dragon-type. Extreme Speed allows Dratini to both pick off weakened Choice Scarf Pokemon like Mienfoo that outspeed Dratini even after a Dragon Dance boost, as well as allowing Dratini to revenge kill weakened Pokemon before setting up. The last moveslot depends on which kind of coverage Dratini needs. Iron Tail is boosted by Dragon Dance and allows Dratini to defeated defeat weakened Fairy-types like Spritzee, while Fire Blast is an alternative that lets Dratini take out Steel-types such as Ferroseed or and Pawniard who which would otherwise wall the set.

Set Details
========

Attack and Speed are both maximized in order to allow Dratini to sweep effectively, with the given Speed EVs allowing Dratini to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after a Dragon Dance boost. If Fire Blast is used, Naughty is a better choice than Adamant to allow because it allows Dratini to do more damage to Steel-types. A Jolly Nature nature can be used in order to outspeed 14 Speed Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Frillish and tie with 15 Speed Choice Scarf Pokemon like Timid Magnemite. A Life Orb allows Dratini to overcome its average Attack and significantly boost boosts Dratini's power output after setting up. 17 HP IVs are used in order to reduce Life Orb recoil to 1 damage. Shed Skin allows Dratini to potentially heal from burns and paralysis that which completely cripple this set.

Usage Tips
========

Dratini is best used as a sweeper lategame late-game after wearing down its checks and counters. Due to Dratini's lack of bulk, Dragon Dance is best used on versus Pokemon Dratini threatens out such as weakened Croagunk and Chinchou without Ice Beam. Since Outrage locks Dratini into the move and is Dratini's best neutral option, Fairy-types such as Spritzee and Snubbull being eliminated is essential. Since Fire Blast is not boosted by Dragon Dance, Dratini appreciates Steel-types like Pawniard and Magnemite being weakened even if it runs Fire Blast as its coverage. Dratini can also be used as support for other sweepers with similar checks such as Scraggy or and Shellder by weakening these checks and counters and punching holes in the opponent's team.

Team Options
========

Like most sweepers, Dratini appreciates entry hazard support from teammates like Onix or and Ferroseed to wear down Pokemon that would otherwise check it. Due to Dratini's relative frailty with a Life Orb, Memento support from Pokemon like Cottonee or and Diglett or Aurora Veil support from Alolan Vulpix is helpful by allowing Dratini to set up more easily. Knock Off support from teammates such as Vullaby helps Dratini break through bulkier foes like Staryu and Pawniard more easily. Fighting-types such as Timburr or and Mienfoo can defeat Steel-types that give Dratini trouble, provide Knock Off support, and also lure in and weaken Fairy-types that would threaten Dratini's sweep,(AC) especially using super effective moves like Poison Jab. Lure moves like Poison Jab also leave Fairy-types unable to handle Dratini lategame.(I assumed this was still in relation to Fighting-types because of the Poison Jab mention. If you meant lure moves in general you can say "Other Pokemon that lure in Fairy-types and weaken them using super effective moves make good teammates too.") Diglett is capable of trapping and removing Steel-types that trouble Dratini and can also run Sludge Bomb to remove Fairy-types as well.

Other Options
=============

Thunder Wave is an option that allows Dratini to support the team and make up for its middling speed Speed, but generally is not as useful as the coverage options on the Mixed Attacker set. Surf can potentially be used on the Mixed Attacker set to 2HKO targets such as Mudbray or Ponyta more reliably than Draco Meteor due to the lack of Special Attack drop and so is a worthwhile option if its teammates can handle the Fairy- or Steel-types Dratini then struggles to damage due to a lack of Iron Tail or Fire Blast. Similarly, Waterfall can be used on the Dragon Dance set, but leaves Dratini far more vulnerable to both Fairy- and Steel-types. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt hit very few targets Dratini cannot break already and are generally not worth using over other coverage options. Dragonium Z is an option over Life Orb on either set, allowing Dratini for a one-time nuke off its very high base power Dragon STAB without the downsides of either, but leaves Dratini's other coverage moves severely weakened and makes Dratini's job after the Devastating Drake more difficult.

Checks and Counters
===================

Alolan Sandshrew can outspeed Dratini with a Choice Scarf and OHKO Dratini with its Ice-type STAB.(AP)

**Choice Scarf Users**: Fast Choice Scarf users such as Mienfoo and Doduo outspeed Dratini even after a Dragon Dance and do heavy damage due to Dratini's fairly low defenses, although they do need to watch out for Extreme Speed. Gastly is a notable Choice Scarf user who is also immune to Extreme Speed.(AP)

[OVERVIEW]

Dratini is able to perform as both a threatening wallbreaker or and late-game cleaner due to its access to strong offensive moves like Draco Meteor, Iron Tail, and Extreme Speed and a strong setup option in Dragon Dance. Dratini has two main options:(colon) a mixed attacking set that utilizes Dratini's high-(AH)Base Power moves and good coverage to weaken the opposing team for sweepers or clean late-(AH)game, (RC) and a sweeping set that utilizes Dragon Dance, since at +1 Dratini is both fast and strong enough to clean up weakened teams. Dratini also has a useful ability in Shed Skin, allowing it to occasionally cure itself of debilitating status conditions like paralysis and burn. Dratini's typing is a mixed blessing, proving sporting very useful resistances to Water- and Electric-type moves, (RC) but leaving it weak to moderately common Fairy- and Ice-type attacks. Due to these issues, Dratini needs a fairly large amount of support to attempt to break teams or sweep, but it is capable of being a devastating Pokemon for opponents to deal with. (not sure how important this last sentence is, but it doesn't seem to add any new content so consider removing it)

Moves
========

Draco Meteor is Dratini's strongest attack and provides a nuke for Dratini to hit the many neutral targets in the metagame such as Mienfoo, Vullaby, and Chinchou. Extreme Speed is one of Dratini's most unique qualities, allowing allows Dratini to defeat faster weakened Pokemon such as Doduo or and Abra. Iron Tail is used almost entirely for opposing Fairy-types such as Snubbull and Spritzee, (AC) (comma before as and since if they mean because) as it allows Dratini to hit them very hard, although its shaky accuracy makes it risky to use to attempt a knock out. Fire Blast rounds off Dratini's neutral coverage and is used to hit opposing Steel-types, (AC) (comma before which clauses) who which otherwise would completely wall this set, notably hitting targets such as Ferroseed and Pawniard, (RC) while also allowing Dratini to heavily damage opposing bulky Grass-types like Foongus and Pumpkaboo-Super Pumpkaboo-XL without needing to resort to Draco Meteor.

Set Details
========

The rest of the EVs are poured into attack Attack to allow Dratini to 2HKO Spritzee without hazards prior damage using Iron Tail more consistently as well as providing Extreme Speed with more power. A Rash Nature nature boosts Dratini's Special attack Attack without lowering its attack Attack. Life Orb allows Dratini to make up for its average attacking stats. 17 HP IVs are used to make Dratini hit 19 HP and in order to take only 1 HP of damage from Life Orb recoil. Shed Skin is Dratini's best ability for this set, allowing Dratini to potentially cure burns and paralysis, (AC) that which cripple its ability to perform.

Usage Tips
========

Dratini's goal with this set is mainly to weaken the opposing team for its teammates. Prediction when using this set is important, as as hitting Fairy-type Fairy- or Steel-type switch-(AH)ins with the appropriate coverage move allows Dratini to defeat them more efficiently. Dratini's fairly low bulk and lack of recovery means it is best brought in after a teammate faints or by a slow pivot so it avoids taking damage. Dratini can be used as a revenge killer or late game late-game cleaner on for heavily weakened Pokemon due to Extreme Speed, but has issues coming in on even neutral attacks due to its moderately low bulk and (established previously) due to because of Extreme Speed's lack of STAB it may cause it to struggle to achieve KOs.

Team Options
========

Sticky Web support allows Dratini to defeat faster Pokemon that would normally beat it, Speed tying with 20 speed Speed Pokemon like Diglett and outpacing 19 speed Speed Pokemon such as Staryu and Aipom. Sweepers who which that (which vs that; ill elaborate more later) need certain Pokemon weakened or defeated appreciate Dratini's ability to break down walls, especially sweepers who which such as Scraggy and Shellder that appreciate Dratini defeating the Fairy- or Steel-types Dratini lures in defeated such as Scraggy or and Sheller. Steel-types such as Ferroseed or and Magnemite resist both of Dratini's weaknesses, while and Ferroseed can also provide entry hazard, Knock Off, and Thunder Wave support. Mienfoo lures in and weakens Fairy-types and can U-turn into Dratini to allow it to get in more safely, while Chinchou can bring Dratini in with Volt Switch. Diglett is capable of trapping most Steel-types due to its ability and can weaken or remove them for Dratini.

wew, finally done. ok MeButYou82 you seem to be pretty solid in amchecking, and you made a lot of great changes like changing or to and, speed to Speed, and changing opponents to foes. one issue i see here is which vs that, but that's pretty easy to get around after i explain it quickly here:
- which is used for non-restrictive clauses, while that is used for restrictive clauses. when you use 'which' you are encompassing all of the thing you are talking about. for example, 'This set is walled by Steel-types, which'; this is saying that all steel-types wall dratini. on the other hand, 'This Dratini set is walled by Steel-types that carry Fairy-type coverage'; this is saying that dratini is only walled by steel-types if they carry Fairy-type coverage. 'which' clauses need to have a comma before them, while 'that' clauses don't. sometimes you'll see 'This dratini set is walled by the Steel-types that'-- this essentially means 'which' but is just a different way of saying it. i hope that cleared things up :)

other than that, though, you did great! looking forward to seeing future checks from you :]
