Flutter Mane @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 160 HP / 60 Def / 36 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Icy Wind
- Protect

- Icy Wind, in combination with Booster Energy for Speed, lets Flutter Mane become a devilish support option. Deceptively hard to take down thanks to its great Special Defense, solid defensive typing, and untouchable speed, Flutter Mane can often sit on the field for many turns disrupting the opponent's gameplan.

- Moonblast is a powerful STAB move that nails targets such as Chien-Pao, Iron Hands, and Raging Bolt for a super effective hit. Shadow Ball hits opposing Flutter Mane and Gholdengo while providing neutral coverage into targets such as Heatran and Glimmora.

- While Icy Wind's supportive capabilities are often the draw of this set, Flutter Mane is still a powerful late-game cleaner with its sky-high Special Attack and blistering Speed. If the opponent has Prankster Tailwind, often coming from Tornadus or Whimsicott, preserving Flutter Mane until opposing speed control has been dealt with may be appreciated.

- The EV spread survives Life Orb Expanding Force from Deoxys-A in Psychic Terrain and Tera Grass Rillaboom Grassy Glide. Maximum Speed investment speed ties other Flutter Mane while outspeeding Gholdengo and Kingdra in Tailwind and Rain, respectively.

- Tera Fairy powers up Moonblast, extending its reach to pick off weakened opponents. Tera Fairy also has the defensive benefit of resisting Sucker Punch from Kingambit and Chien-Pao, making Flutter Mane significantly more difficult to take off the field.

- The strongest partners for this set take advantage of Icy Wind and make up for the lack of immediate offensive output compared to other Flutter Mane sets. Landorus can outspeed opposing Flutter Mane and Ogerpon-Wellspring with Icy Wind support, threatening massive damage with Earth Power or Sludge Bomb, while taking out Fire-types such as Heatran and Volcanion for Flutter Mane. Paired with this set, Choice Specs Chi-Yu can more easily unleash nuclear Heat Waves on the opponent, while both threatening Rillaboom and Amoonguss as well as boosting Flutter Mane's damage with Beads of Ruin.

starting out with the move name out of order becomes a bit confusing, but i see the vision. i'd rewrite it as a more overview-like bullet point (however, if you find this too different or it strays too far from your original point you can change things ofc):
"Speed Booster Energy Flutter Mane is a devilish support option, which is deceptively hard to take down thanks to its great Special Defense, solid defensive typing, and untouchable Speed, letting it sit on the field for many turns, where it can disrupt the opponents gameplan with Icy Wind speed control or be a late game cleaner with its enormous offensive capabilities."

- Moonblast is a powerful STAB move that nails targets such as Chien-Pao, Iron Hands, and Raging Bolt for a super effective hit. Shadow Ball hits opposing Flutter Mane and Gholdengo while providing neutral coverage into targets such as Heatran and Glimmora.

i just realized i worked the whole first sentence into the first bullet point; do you think its better to try and work the 2nd part of this bullet point (preserve fluppy) into the last bullet point talking about teammates and use cases? that's how i would do it personally

Landorus can outspeed opposing Flutter Mane and Ogerpon-Wellspring with after an Icy Wind support, threatening massive damage with Earth Power or Sludge Bomb, while taking out Fire-types such as Heatran and Volcanion for Flutter Mane (its all for flutter mane isnt it?). Paired with this set, Choice Specs Chi-Yu can more easily unleash nuclear Heat Waves on the opponent, while both threatening Rillaboom and Amoonguss as well as boosting Flutter Mane's damage with Beads of Ruin.
