Introduction
**This team is an improvement of my last team, where I focused on Misty Terrain support instead of Steel-types. In this team, I embrace the use of Prankster Haze, Destiny Bond Registeel, and it serves as a great check to -ate users. Even Groundium-Z Tectonic Rage Diancie-Mega with Precipice Blades do not 1HKO Registeels, allowing me to quickly adjust the following turn.**

Darmanitan-Zen (Gyarados) @ Gyaradosite | Misty Surge
Impish | 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
• Spikes
• Shore Up
• Dragon Tail
• Knock Off

**Misty discourages Spore, Poison Heal, and Nuzzle users like nothing else. Mega Evolving allows it to surprise MMY, and Giratina's that don't consider STAB Knock Off, and allows Gyarados to take full advantage of Misty Terrain. Spikes softens up my foe's team for 1-2 HKOs on MMY and Diancie-M, which inevitably means wall breaking + sweeping = stall to brawl type tactics. Knock Off removes Toxic Orb, Choice Scarf, Eviolite, and so many useful items that allow my team to sweep later in the match. It leads the team, but also surprises anyone throughout the match, especially if I have yet to Mega Evolve.**

Slaking @ Normalium-Z | Dazzling
Adamant | 248 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
• Belly Drum
• Extreme Speed
• Spectral Thief
• Ice Shard

**I have officially replaced Diancie-Mega, (I was also using Aerilate Rayquaza-Mega for a short while), with Slaking due to strong coverage, and sudden power. I figured that I would take the best of both RMT and combine them. Once Dazzling opponents are removed, Slaking handles so many things, where even Imposter cannot stop it. People have been asking me about this set throughout the day, as I was laddering, and I figured that it must be more than mere novelty, it is truly a unique and helpful set. Plus, once I know the foe's Pokemon is a Triage Rayquaza-Mega (Moongeist, Tail Glow, Oblivion Wing, Giga Drain / Substitute / Spore), Kartana, or Heracross-Mega I can simply switch in, and set-up without fear. Ice Shard breaks. Mach Punch is an option for Rocks and Steels like Tyranitar, Statakaka, Kartana, and Dialga, but Ice Shard hits all Ghosts well, while also handling the 4x Dragons (Sceptile-Mega, Rayquaza-Mega, Garchomp-Mega, Zygarde-Mega)

For reference here is my Slaking description from my prior RMT, which has damage calculations and further details:
**
**This set's 248 HP EVs is for the odd HP number so Belly Drum can be used twice without healing. Other than that, the set should be self-explanatory- when I say I am self-Imposterproofed on all teammates, besides Mewtwo-Mega-Y, I mean it:

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Breakneck Blitz (160 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Eviolite Chansey: 705-831 (100.1 - 118%) -- guaranteed OHKO
All without a - Defense Nature.

And if Imposter uses Struggle at +6 Attack, Slaking can survive at 50% HP (Regigigas cannot survive):

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Struggle vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Slaking: 221-260 (43.9 - 51.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

The power of this set comes 2 fold; Normalium-Z can be used as a last resort to KO Imposter thanks to removing the priority, and thus Imposter's Dazzling Immunity. Normalium-Z can also be used to survive a hit (like Mewtwo-Mega-X's Superpower, as listed below), and Z-Belly Drum to heal, boost, and then KO the next turn with STAB Extreme Speed.

Spectral Thief, over Knock-Off for immediate coverage, while keeping full Immunity, and not worrying about losing power if Gyarados-M used Knock-Off first. Spectral Thief can also be used in a pinch against something it can survive to remove their boosts.

Mach Punch is for Prankster Haze Registeel, which I find to be more common than Prankster Zygarde, still, Giratina is another reason as, while it can survive Ice Shard, it may be worth it with hazards support, so both can be used interchangably. Calcs:
VS Zygarde-

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Ice Shard vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Zygarde-Complete: 620-732 (97.4 - 115%) -- guaranteed OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Ice Shard vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Zygarde-Complete: 564-664 (88.6 - 104.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes

VS Giratina-

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Ice Shard vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Giratina: 312-368 (61.9 - 73%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

VS Giratina without Prankster
Spectral Thief

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Spectral Thief vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Giratina: 636-750 (126.1 - 148.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

VS Registeel
Mach Punch
+6 252+ Atk Slaking Mach Punch vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Registeel: 264-312 (72.5 - 85.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

VS Registeel without Prankster
Spectral Thief
+6 252+ Atk Slaking Spectral Thief vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Registeel: 297-350 (81.5 - 96.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock, 1 layer of Spikes
I chose Slaking over Regigigas because it can survive MMX when it doesn't use Life Orb/Tough Claws, i.e. Toxic Orb Poison Heal, Safety Goggles + Contrarian.
This allows it to use Belly Drum-Z, and then either use Extreme Speed for the 1HKO. If Spikes is on the field, it can even 1HKO MMX at + 1 Def (Contrarian users). Calcs VS Mewtwo-Mega-X:
Mewtwo-Mega-X Low Kick VS Slaking

252 Atk Mewtwo-Mega-X Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Slaking: 344-408 (68.2 - 80.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Mewtwo-Mega-X Superpower / CloseCombat VS Slaking

252 Atk Mewtwo-Mega-X Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Slaking: 414-488 (82.1 - 96.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Slaking Extreme Speed VS Mewtwo-Mega-X = 1HKO

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Mewtwo-Mega-X: 528-622 (126.9 - 149.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Slaking Extreme Speed VS Mewtwo-Mega-X +1 Def = 1HKO

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Extreme Speed vs. +1 252 HP / 252 Def Mewtwo-Mega-X: 354-417 (85 - 100.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes
Spikes is realistic due to Gyarados-M having Mold Breaker.

VS Imposter Calcs:
Imposter Mewtwo-Mega-Y Sheer Force Psychic VS Slaking

252 SpA Sheer Force Chansey Psychic vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Slaking: 268-316 (53.1 - 62.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Imposter Mewtwo-Mega-Y Sheer Force Bolt Strike VS Slaking

252 Atk Sheer Force Chansey Bolt Strike vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Slaking: 162-191 (32.1 - 37.8%) -- 94.7% chance to 3HKO

Z-Belly Drum to heal, and then hit with +6 Extreme Speed VS Imposter Mewtwo-Mega-Y

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252- Def Eviolite Chansey: 492-579 (69.8 - 82.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Impostered my Mewtwo-Mega-Y)

*This calculation above means Spectral Thief is a 1HKO, since it has 50% more base power when considering it is super effective VS Extreme Speed.

Z-Belly Drum to heal, and then hit with +6 Spectral Thief VS Imposter Giratina

+6 252+ Atk Slaking Spectral Thief vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Eviolite Chansey: 466-550 (66.1 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Overall, Slaking doesn't slack on its job to finish off teams, as the replays demonstrate its speed and power cover many bases.
**

Audino-Mega @ Leftovers | Unaware
Sassy | 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
• Spectral Thief
• Stealth Rock
• Shore Up
• Baton Pass

**Her typing alone secures me victories, letting me Imposterproof my own Gyarados while setting up Stealth Rocks, and being a roadblock to Normalize Gengar's Judgement Spooky Plate shenanigans. Baton Pass + Spectral Thief works great and doesn't allow the foes to copy, and it can benefit either Mewtwo-Mega-Y or Diancie-Mega especially since they hit from both sides. It works wonders against Dazzling Shell Smashers, so I can Baton Pass to Diancie and hit with Boomburst, not Extreme Speed**

Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Life Orb | Sheer Force

Hasty | 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
• Bolt Strike
• Psychic
• Ice Beam
• Blue Flare

**1HKOs anything hurt super effectively, and has the wide mixed coverage to truly handle most things after a few Spikes and Stealth Rock. Registeel Hazes and pivots to Mewtwo-Mega-Y, if Spectral Thief Baton Pass Audino-Mega hasn't already. Mewtwo-Mega-Y also 2HKOs Dialga, Giratina, Arceus, and Red Orb Groudon easily, and that allows me to break up the rest of the foe's team, from walls to sweepers. Nice safe pivoting from Registeel or Audino-Mega means I can soft check Gengar-Mega (say they use Entrainment as I Baton Pass to Mewtwo-Mega-Y).**

Giratina @ Leftovers | Misty Surge
Sassy | 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
• Rapid Spin
• Core Enforcer
• Circle Throw
• Shore Up

**Self-sufficient for preventing status on both teams, which benefits me greatly. Cutting down Dragon moves is no problem, as it also helps when Imposter attempts to Core Enforcer me. I am always surprised how many people do not know Misty Surge (Terrain) halves Dragon moves, as it is such a nice relief for my whole team. Shuffling keeps my hazards hustling, while spin forces Imposter to switch out and eventually lets me spin them. **

Registeel @ Leftovers | Prankster
Sassy | 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
• Haze
• Shore Up
• Destiny Bond
• U-turn

**Pretty standard anti-ate and anti-sweeper set. Destiny Bond comes in handy, especially when the surprise U-turn pivot either safely lets me send in a teammate, or underspeeds their finishing move, letting me trade for their Pokemon. Haze is not as used, as U-turn or Destiny Bond. U-turn also helps V.S. Anchor Shot Perish Song / PP Stall shenanigans.**

Conclusion

**Overall, this is a major improvement in practice over my previous RMT, and I can see that in my much improved ladder ranking. I am currently sitting at the Top 7. I also only concern myself with Diancie-Mega in the event Registeel dies, but don't know how to handle it without multiplying my weaknesses. I see that my Fur Coat Darmanitan-Zen Mode that normally handled Diancie-M would add Dark / Ghost / Ground weaknesses to my team, so I opted for Audino-Mega, but would appreciate your thoughts on handling Diancie-Mega with a back-up option. Role compression is key, but don't forget, Misty Terrain support benefits my team, so I can use abilities beyond Comatose, Poison Heal, Magic Bounce, and items besides Toxic Orb, Safety Goggles, etc.**

1. First replay is invalid because you won by ‘dc’ where it was an obv lost for you.
2. Where is your mmy improof
3. How do you beat normgar
4. You can’t name your gyara darmz
5. Every time Band Adapt MMX comes in you drop a mon
6. -ates murder your team since many of them run vcreate and so prank regi isn’t an answer
7. Opposing SF MMY 6-0s (like I know sf mmy is a pain to deal with but it can literally munch your team up)
8. Poison STAB gar is a problem too, esp mold breaker and maybe adapt
9. I suggest not having 2 offensive mons that both lose to fur coat chansey.
10. (This team loses to my amazing ndm set)
While I understand that you can’t cover every threat, these are all very common and prevalent.

It looks like he beats Normalize Gengar by making sure that Audino is always in on opposing Gengar before they have set up so that he can safely Baton Pass to MMY. I'm sure this is easy to accomplish every time.

How he beats Normalize Gengar once it is set up with Quiver Dance or Shell Smash though is up in the air. Or maybe, when facing Gengar teams, he keeps Gyarados in base form to lure the Entrainment and KO with Knock Off after the mega evolution. This can't be relied on though.

For some reason, I do not receive notifications in my threads. I noticed this in my last RMT as well, so I am sorry for the delayed reply.

1. First replay means I last for over 151 turns, and due to my ability to out-stall him (IRL time as well), I won. Ironically, he said he was really hoping he didn't win... and he did not.
2. MMY Improof is in Registeel and Giratina. Keep in mind, Imposter doesn't have Life Orb, so they only receive the Sheer Force boost. Diancie-Mega can also weaken it with Fake-Speed, while Registeel can Destiny Bond as a last resort. Audino-Mega isn't 2HKOed by MMY, so she can counter/check it and outlast it/stall it.
3. I send in Audino-Mega, she is Unaware, so NormGar's boost wont help it. When It use Entrainment, I Baton Pass to Registeel for the Haze. I then switch back to Audino-Mega. Diancie-Mega can also be used for priority to weaken it, (Baton Passing from Audino-Mega if Gengar has set up), or just Baton Pass to MMY (who is faster than NormGar if it hasn't set up) and KO it. Gyarados can also Mega as needed and KO for the Knock Off).
4. I do nickname it Darm-Z, as I copied it from the Import/Export.
5. Band Adapt MMX doesn't KO everything. For example, doesn't Diancie-Mega go first and KO it? If I know what move it is locked into (Photon Geyser means I go to Gyarados-Mega, Close Combat means I go to Giratina), and last resort I can use Destiny Bond on Registeel for the double KO.

MMX can use Photon Geyser as I send in Giratina, and not get KOed, then I can switch to Gyarados-Mega, or Registeel for their type Immunity or Resist, and no Pokemon has to "drop":
252 Atk Choice Band Adaptability Mewtwo-Mega-X Photon Geyser vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Giratina: 304-358 (60.3 - 71%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

6. Gyarados-Mega resists Kyurem-B, Diancie-Mega on my team threatens both Kyurem-B and Rayquaza-Mega, and its a draw V.S. their own DIancie-Mega. If Kyurem-B has Bolt Strike, Registeel can rest assured it wont have V-Create (Fake-Out / Smash, Extreme Speed, Bolt Strike / V-Create, Sunsteel Strike)... Please don't tell me something isn't handled, when it is...
7. Registeel can Destiny Bond, Diancie-Mega can use priority, and it depends on what moveset they use. If they use Moonblast or Earth Power over Bolt Strike, etc. then it changes what I can check it with. Be specific with the moveset you are referring to.
8. Poison STAB is blocked by Registeel, and Gyarados can survive a Secret Sword and KO with Knock Off.
9. Fur Coat Chansey will often lose their Eviolite to my Knock Off Gyarados, weakening it throughout the match, and allowing me to simply use Psychic:
252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Mewtwo-Mega-Y Psychic vs. 244 HP / 252 SpD Chansey: 257-304 (36.6 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

This doesn't even factor in Spikes, or Stealth Rocks damage. Boomburst on Diancie-Mega is even stronger...
252 SpA Pixie Plate Pixilate Diancie-Mega Boomburst vs. 244 HP / 252 SpD Chansey: 295-348 (42 - 49.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

10. Nothing on this team loses to your set. Registeel can Prankster Haze, or Destiny Bond your NDM set, and Gyarados-Mega resists both of its STAB moves, as well as any Power Trip used. Diancie-Mega can add chip priority damage, depending if you use its Ultra Form, and Giratina can also use Misty Terrain to block any Spore uses. If you are also greedy enough to Shell Smash in front of Audino, it can Spectral Thief. MMY 1HKOs with Blue Flare. Remind me what your actual set is? I think I covered my bases, but I want to at least see what you mean.
--------
To be honest, I was actually going to switch out Diancie-Mega to -ate Rayquaza-Mega for stronger neutral damage, and for taking random Ground-Moves for Diancie-Mega and Registeel. I wanted to hold off after leaving this reply, because if I change it now, it sort of nullifies my response to your above points.

Sorry for the second post (we are allowed to bump once anyways), but I have changed my priority sweeper to Slaking. I am in love with how well it has performed, letting me peak at 1734 ELO, and surpassing my previous #7 Ladder Ranking to #5.

#CoinedTheSet

Replays for today and for the past week for BH don't seem to show on the history, otherwise I would include them at the top.

Here is one: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7balancedhackmons-832972244
*I added it to the OP.

One maybe? last suggestion:
Congrats on your new peak.
Here is how I would change it.
Change MMY from Blue Flare to Earth Power, your current mmy is blocked by ff steel so Earth Power will be much more useful.
Change Audino to Any Cresselia, like regenvest, unaware, prankster, this gives you a reliable switch in to MMY and MMX, which your team kinda struggles with.
Change Gyarados to mega, Darkinium Z as item, this answers NormGar semi reliably, I would recommend spectral and revelation dance on cress though to help.
Change Slaking to Soundproof Arceus-Psychic with TG, Boom, Moongeist, Recover, gives you a decent -ate switch in while being a solid breaker.

Thank you for your suggestions.

1. Blue Flare 1HKOs many things Earth Power wont- Calcs:
252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Mewtwo-Mega-Y Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Registeel: 244-289 (67 - 79.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Mewtwo-Mega-Y Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 335-395 (84.1 - 99.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Wouldn't it be better to take out the move Psychic, instead of Blue Flare?
Blue Flare has around the same base power as Psychic, and so for Neutral hits, I could use Blue Flare, and for Flash Fire hits I could use Earth Power. Bolt Strike and Ice Beam could stay as per usual coverage.

2. My concern is with Cresselia I will have 3 Ghost/Dark weak Pokemon which means I am vulnerable to Simple Power Trip Tyranitar, and Norm Gar sweeps (my Prankster Registeel can only do so much). Arceus won't save me from either and Gengar removes Cresselia's ability allowing it to break Unaware, etc.

What about Yveltal? I know it packs Revelation Dance, and can use Fur Coat.
Do you think that may help more vs MMX? I know it doesn't get saved by Misty Terrain, but it isn't weak to Dark / Ghost, and resists them for the team, plus STAB Oblivion Wing is nice.

252 Atk Choice Band Adaptability Mewtwo-Mega-X Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fur Coat Yveltal: 196-232 (42.9 - 50.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Yveltal Oblivion Wing vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-X: 210-248 (50.4 - 59.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (34.5 - 40.7% recovered)

For MMY, it really depends on the set, as MMY could always use Contrarian and threaten Cresselia with Moongeist Beam, so nothing is really safe.

2B. I use Audino-Mega as an Imposterproof check for it's Fairy typing prevents Dragon Tail vs Imposter Gyarados-Mega. This also allows me to get in a Stealth Rock. Cresselia is weak to Knock Off, and I wouldn't make good use of RegenVest if it loses the item. Audino-Mega also allows me to pivot from Normalize-Gar on the turn it uses Entrain.

3. For Gyarados-Mega, do you think Mold Breaker should stay? I need to ensure Magic Bounce fails, but having only 1 Misty Surge Pokemon left in Giratina, I have to pick and choose. (Misty Surge allows Gyarados-Mega to lead and guarantee Spikes thru Mold Breaker + Misty Surge at the same time on turn 1; only blocked by Taunt).

4. Why Psychic-Arceus, shouldn't it be Normal to stay immune to Moongeist Beam? I think you have a nickname from the trick of selecting the form?

What do I do now?

There is actually a no stab mmy which runs sludge wave or moonblast but if you are running standard sf mmy Earth Power is a lot better because FF is more common than Levitate. You can argue you will click blue flare for it’s similar damage so it’s up to you, definitely recommending Earth Power, last slot can be anything from psychic to blue flare to sludge wave or moonblast.
Cresselia actually doesn’t take tooo much from contrary moongeist and also contrary is broken. But definitely cress doesn’t fit really well.
I guess if you were to remove mega stone mold breaker should stay as it is your primary win con to get hazards up.
Arceus psychic due to a bug makes imposter psychic type so you hit it with super effective moongeist while being immune to all the moves.
There is a more drastic change possible to the team structure. You change giratina to prankster, which helps against mmx and keeps the prankster teammate. Change Audino to FC Chansey, which beats -ates and sf mmy and Gengar. And change registeel to whatever thing you want as your misty terrain setter (or have gyarados set terrain but I think you want the hazards). Ideally this mon should improof gyara so maybe misty zygod? Idk. Then you can change arceus to be whatever attacker you want.

I’ll try out the suggestions. Thank you.
Lol, at this point the only thing that isn’t removed is MMY, Gyarados-Mega, and Giratina.

My concern with using Zygarde is that I will have 1/2 my team weak to Fairy, and while Fur Coat Chansey can take -Ate Diancie-Mega, if it faints, I am screwed.

With Chansey and Arceus on top of Gyarados-Mega, half my team is also weak to Fighting. MMX is a serious threat.

Arceus’ STAB is resisted by Diancie-Mega, and while it can switch into Boombursts, if Diancie-Mega packs V-Create, it can deal heavy damage followed by -Ate priority.

Does that Arceus glitch work on all types?
That might be useful for other versions of Arceus to make Imposter copy an Ice-Type form, so it has many exploitable weaknesses.

I know it sounds silly, but is Pidgeot-Mega with Soundproof also an option? It’s Flying-typing allows it to pack Earth Power as well, while still being Imposterproof, serving as a combination of Rayquaza-Mega and Arceus.

It would have a way of hitting Steels and Tyranitar harder, as well as having better SpA and Speed.

+3 252 SpA Pidgeot-Mega Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Tyranitar-Mega: 350-414 (86.6 - 102.4%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
