All the Aces

Updated the OP with some new things.
  • Changed number of resubmissions from 1 to 2.
  • Added clone abilities for Deltas.
  • Added Ancient Traits and EX+Ancient Traits.
  • Added Mega Evolution for Crystal Pokemon (namely Charizard).
  • Made all of the templates for submitting a lot less cluttered.
  • And last but not least, added ALL of the lists with cards that can be submitted. If you're having trouble finding a good card to submit, you can check those links.
Question: Since Ancient Traits use a different mechanic from Abilities in the TCG, to the effect that they ignore ability-bypassing effects, wouldn't having them ignore ability-bypassing effects (Using the same code as Full Metal Body, Shadow Shield and Prism Armor) in this mod as well?

Also, in the rare case of EX + Ancient, do you get 100+ or just 50+?

Also also, shouldn't Omega Barrier only block enemy items as opposed to its own?

Good suggestion.

Also, in the rare case of EX + Ancient, do you get 100+ or just 50+?
+50 for now, because I kinda want to see if Primal Groudon and Kyogre EX can be balanced with meh abilities. If someone submits them and they're still too broken, then we can change it to +100, buffing Sceptile and Tyranitar but banning Groudon/Kyogre.

Also also, shouldn't Omega Barrier only block enemy items as opposed to its own?
Yeah my bad.

there's no way that Groudon and Kyogre will get in lmao

tbh just allow All the Aces Ubers to be a thing and save yourself the headache

Changed how Megas for ex/EX work (I was making a submission for next slate and my Mega got +48 instead of +50 because it rounded down lol).

lol true. To be fair, Theta Max is useless on Primals, they come in and evolve so the heal is wasted. They still have 770 BST tho.

I'll think about All the Aces Ubers. We barely got a OU meta going. Anyway, back to EX + Ancient, they get +100 BST now.

I don't think we're getting any more votes any time soon.
AHA! YOU FOOL! IT IS I, THE BRINGER OF VOTES!

Actually though, here's my votes.

Vileplume-Delta
Snorlax-Delta
Bellossom-Delta
Walrein-Aqua
Crobat-Crystal
Banette-ex

Also, I feel like forcing the Owner's Pokemon to have Affection Bond really hinders creativity. Affection Bond isn't bad, it's just very generically good and doesn't allow Pokemon to carve their own niche as well. It also could prove to be overpowered on some things, since alongside a Focus Sash you are guarunteed to live two hits, which makes setting up a sweep very easy.

Voting has ended! Here are our winners.
We'll have a 2-day-long discussion phase before the submission phase.

Pokemon: Crobat-Crystal
Based on:

Stats: 75 (-10) / 120 (+30) / 70 (-10) / 70 / 70 (-10) / 130
Ability: Crystal Type
Type: Normal, Poison (from on first attack), Fire, Psychic (from second attack)
Added Moves: Gunk Shot, Flame Charge, Fire Lash, Flare Blitz, Psychic Fangs, Extreme Speed
Pokemon: Walrein-Aqua
Based on:

Stats:
110/80/90/95/90/65 (530) (unchanged)
Abilities: Affection Bond (Gives Endure effect one time per battle. Removes status effects every 3 turns.)
Type: Water
New Signature Move: Hydro Reverse (based on the TCG move)
Type: Water
Classification: Special
Power: 1 to 85 (Happiness divided by 3)
PP: 20 (max 32)
Effect: Every PP spent increases Walrein-Aqua's SpA by +1. Max +6.
Role Identification: Walrein-Aqua becomes a sorta special water-type Curselax. With access to Stockpile and an un-Tauntable move that increases SpA, it can be a bulky set-up sweeper. If you can time Affection Bond correctly, the status removal affects Rest so Sleep Talk isn't needed. Walrein can finally get reliable recovery. A pure support set is also viable, with Rest being Walrein's reliable recovery every 3 turns.
Pokemon: Vileplume-Delta
Based On:
View attachment 91597
Stats: 75/80/85/110/90/50 (490)
New Abilities: Chlorophyll/Effect Spore
New Type: Ghost/Steel
Added Moves: Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Shadow Sneak, Will-O-Wisp, Destiny Bond, Spirit Shackle, Nasty Plot
Commentary: A bulky status trapper and a Nasty Plot Sun Sweeper
Banette-ex

Stats:
HP: 64
Attack: 132 (+17)
Defense: 65
Sp. Attack: 83
Sp. Defense: 84 (+21)
Speed: 77 (+12)
Ability: Shady Move (The Pokémon's damaging moves inflict embargo on the target.)
Signature Move: Shadow Chant
Base Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
Type: Ghost
PP: 15
Categories: Physical
Description: "The user calls upon a horde of spirits to terrorize the foe, making the foe attack last on the next turn."

Description: Banette-ex loves to disrupt the opponent. Banette-ex's ability allows it to lower a foe's offensive capabilities or rid it of leftovers recovery, while its attack is a reliable physical Ghost move that also delays the target's next attack. This makes Banette-ex very annoying to switch into, although it isn't very threatening otherwise. Banette-ex has bad bulk, low speed when the opponent isn't afflicted by Shadow Chant, and no boosting options to speak of. Even so, Banette-ex can have a place as a nice physical Ghost-type with some unique qualities to allow it to stand out.
Pokemon: Snorlax-Delta
Based on:

Stats: 160/110/65/65/110/30 (540)
New Abilities: Corrosion / Thick Fat / Gluttony (Hidden)
New Type: Poison/Normal
Added Moves: Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Clear Smog, Toxic Spikes, Venom Drench
Deltalax has drastically increased defense and support capabilities. Not only that, but it's the bulky user that Corrosion always wanted, able to put pressure onto Steel-types and other Poison-types simply by being on a team.
Pokemon: Omastar-Delta
Based on:

Stats: 70/60/125/115/70/55 (495)
New Abilities: Swift Swim / Cursed Body / Weak Armor (Hidden)
New Type: Ghost/Water
Added Moves: Shadow Ball
Basically Omastar without those pesky weaknesses it gets from Rock holding it back.

Yeah idk how to fix that. There aren't many ways of making them different. Accepting suggestions, although Affection Bond will probably remain an option in some way.

You could simply say that they have to have Affection Bond as one of their abilities and allow them to have others.
I'm not opposed to that. Ancient Traits have a bunch of signature abilities for each form, so Owner/SP/Plasma could also have multiple ones to choose from. We would need more abilities related to the bond between trainers and their Pokemon though. Maybe one for crits, one for status removal, one for Endure, one for dodging attacks? One that makes happiness above the max, boosting Return and other signature moves?
Also try to add in Battle Bond maybe? Although the base form is already called Pokemon-Trainer, a Battle Bond evolution for Walrein-Aqua would be Aqua-Walrein-Aqua lol.

Added the following abilities for Owner/SP/Plasma to make them more different from one another.
  • Affection Bond - Gives Endure effect one time per battle.
  • Refresh Bond - Removes status effects every 3 turns.
  • Rough Petting - Crits every other turn.
  • Play Partner - If the Pokemon is hit by a move, the foe's next move has its accuracy dropped by 15%. Effect stacks if it hits again, resets if it misses.
  • Super Friendship - Happiness is increased by 100, reaching 355 at max.
Subs are now open.

Funny, I was going to submit Castform-Holon but it can't have Forecast because it's restricted to the Owner/SP/Plasma abilities... I have to change this again...
EDIT: Subs for now.
Pokemon: Lugia-Crystal
Based on:

Stats:
106/100/130/100/134/110 (680, +10 Atk, +10 SpA, -20 SpD)
Ability: Crystal Type
Type: Normal, Water, Fire, Psychic
Added Moves: Liquidation, Lava Plume, Fire Lash
Role Identification: Unfortunately for Lugia, its important Fighting and Ground resistances are lost and it doesn't have a great defensive ability anymore. Fortunately for us, this is a balanced version that can be used in OU (maybe). Previous access to Calm Mind gives it an offensive presence, and it's more than bulky enough to use it. Roost can be coupled with the set up move, making it last much longer. Lava Plume can possibly shut down physical attackers with burns. Liquidation and Fire Lash can stack Def drops, allowing a possible physical set to hit harder. Roost can be coupled with the set up move, making it last much longer. Of course it also got Normal, Water and Psychic moves previously, with Surf, Psyshock, Psycho Boost... and possibly Hyper Voice if you want to throw the opponent for a loop?
Pokemon: Castform-Holon
Based on:

Stats:
70/70/70/70/70/70 (420)
Abilities: Affection Bond
Type: Normal/Flying
New Signature Move: Delta Draw
Type: Normal
Classification: Special
Power: 1 to 17 (Happiness/15)
PP: 15 (24)
Effect/Priority: Hits for every Delta Pokemon in the party (max 5). Increases the stat of the user based on the Delta Pokemon's highest stat. (Beast Boost based on Delta teammates' stats instead of Castform's).
Z-Move Power: 100
Role Identification: A silly move to make a weak Pokemon into a great set-up sweeper. With Delta Draw and Affection Bond, Castform-Holon can survive once and get +3 SpA and +2 Spe in 1 turn, or +5 SpA, depending on the teammates of course. It also gets STAB Hurricane due to its Flying-type. However, there are some downsides to it. Firstly, it has 420 BST because, well, it's Castform. Secondly, Castform-Holon needs a Delta form weather-setter to be truly great, otherwise you're wasting a slot on Pelipper or MegaZard-Y. Thirdly, Stealth Rock weakness.
Pokemon: Sceptile-Ancient-EX
Based on:

Stats:
90/125/85/105/105/120 (630, +20 HP, +40 Atk, +20 Def, +20 SpD)
Stats (Mega): 90/125/85/130/105/145 (680, +25 SpA, +25 Spe)
Ability: θ Stop - Ignores abilities, both offensively and defensively.
Type: Grass
Type (Mega): Grass/Dragon
New Signature Move: Jungle Rush
Type: Grass
Classification: Physical
Power: 80
PP: 10 (16)
Effect/Priority: Bypasses accuracy check. Priority +2.
Role Identification: Seeing as many of the ex/EX Pokemon are (and will be) absurd due to their abilities, it makes sense to have a Mold Breaker-like ability to stop them. Sceptile-Ancient-EX is a pretty straightforward attacker, and Jungle Rush solidifies it as anti-ex/EX revenge killer. Sceptile-Ancient-EX-Mega can be used due to its increased Speed, SpA and Dragon STAB. It also has Theta Stop, but it probably is inferior to base. Even with the SpA boost, it doesn't hit as hard as LO, but the extra speed and un-knock-off-able item can be useful.
Pokemon: Miltank-Whitney
Based on:

Stats: 95/80/105/40/70/100 (490)
Abilities: Play Partner - If the Pokemon is hit by a move, the foe's next move has its accuracy dropped by 15%. Effect stacks if it hits again, resets if it misses.
Type: Normal
New Signature Move: Love Slam
Type: Normal
Classification: Physical
Power: 1 to 102 (Happiness/2.5)
PP: 15 (24)
Effect/Priority: 30% chance to paralyze plus 30% chance to infatuate if male.
Role Identification: Whitney's Miltank back. And it's as annoying as ever. Pretty self-explanatory I think.

Right, sorry. Also, question, if a Pokemon doesn't have a TCG form, but its pre-evo does, and the 'mon proper didn't exist until after the form stopped being a thing, can I make a form for it? (this is totally general and not about Togekiss and Delta Species) okay nice i can

Resub:
Pokemon: Kabutops-Delta
Based on:

Stats: Unchanged - 60/115/105/65/70/80 (495)
New Abilities: Swift Swim / Surge Surfer / Galvanize
New Type: Electric/Water
Added Moves: Thunder Punch, Discharge, Shock Wave, Spark, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch

Tired of being overshadowed by Kingdra, Kabutops ditched that old Rock typing for a shiny new Electric one! Without those pesky extra weaknesses stopping it from switching in, Delta Kabutops is ready to be the Rain sweeper it deserved to be. Or it can be an Eleterrain sweeper, your choice really.

new boys:

Pokemon: Mantine-Delta
Based on:

Stats: (unchanged)
New Abilities: Swift Swim / Volt Absorb / Water Veil (Hidden)
New Type: Electric/Flying
Added Moves: Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave
Role Identification: Mantine is an alright special wall, but hampered by a 4x weakness to Electric. Delta Mantine does not have that weakness. Not much else to say.

Pokemon: Mew-Delta
Based on:

Stats: (unchanged)
New Abilities: Synchronize
New Type: Water
Added Moves: Aqua Ring
Role Identification: Like Delta Mantine, Delta Mew has a better typing defensively.

Pokemon: Typhlosion-Delta
Based on:

Stats: (unchanged)
New Abilities: Blaze / Surge Spirit (Flash Fire clone that uses the Ghost type instead of Fire)
New Type: Ghost/Fire
Added Moves: Shadow Ball, Hex, Shadow Sneak, Thunderbolt, Thunder
Role Identification: Basically just a better Typhlosion, trading away the Flash Fire boost and immunity to Fire moves and gaining a weakness to Dark, but getting a second STAB, an equivalent to Flash Fire for said second STAB, coverage, two resistances, and two natural immunities.

Pokemon: Togekiss-Delta
Based on:
(technically doesn't exist, but would have if togekiss existed at the time)
Stats: (unchanged) 85/50/95/120/115/80
New Abilities: Hustle / Serene Grace / Super Luck
New Type: Water/Fairy
Added Moves: Scald, Surf, Hydro Pump, Waterfall
Role Identification: You know how normal Togekiss has Serene Grace Air Slash? Well, Delta Togekiss loses STAB on that, in exchange for unleashing the true evil of Serene Grace Scald onto the world. Sounds like something the fair folk would do, really.

Pokemon: Exploud-Imakuni-ex
Based on:

Stats: 114/91/83/101/83/68 (+10 HP, +20 Def, +10 SpA, +10 SpD)
Abilities: Refresh Bond - Removes status effects every 3 turns.
Type: Normal
New Signature Move: 「Imakuni!!!」
Type: Normal
Classification: Status
Power: -%
PP: 10 (max 16)
Effect/Priority: Boosts Attack and Special Attack by 1 and allows Exploud to bypass immunities. Recovers HP by Happiness/6
Role Identification: It's an Imakuni gag card! While lacking in stats and ability for an EX, Imakuni's Exploud ex compensates with its signature move, which is basically Work Up + Recover that also gives the user Scrappy. Yeah. It's also compensated to a degree by how good Boomburst is.

Yes.

Sorry. As I said, this is hard to make submissions for and I've also been a bit busy. But let's try again:

Pokemon: Crobat-Crystal
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Crobat_(Skyridge_147)
Stats: 85/100 (+ 10)/60 (– 20)/100 (+ 30)/60 (- 20)/130 (can move around 40 stats but BST remains the same)
Ability: Crystal Type
Type: Normal, Poison, Psychic, Fire
Added Moves: Ember, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Flame Burst, Flame Charge, Flare Blitz, Incinerate, Searing Shot, Agility, Amnesia, Barrier, Confusion, Dream Eater, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Miracle Eye, Psychic Fangs, Psyshock, Psywave, Reflect
Role Identification: Crobat is now a frailer mixed sweeper with multiple STABS to benefit that.

Pokemon: Venomoth-Sabrina
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sabrina's_Venomoth_(Gym_Heroes_34)
Stats: 70/65/60/90/75/90 (unchanged)
Abilities: Affection Bond - Gives Endure effect one time per battle.

Type: Bug/Poison
New Signature Move: Sonic Distortion
Type: Psychic
Classification: Special
Power: Half of Return
PP: 20
Effect/Priority: Sound based. 75% chance to confuse opponent.
Role Identification: Sabrina may not use exclusively Psychic mon, but she’s still a psychic specialist. Sonic Distortion may have half the power of Return, not get the benefit of STAB and be blocked by Dark types and soundproof, but it still does decent damage while being a highly effective confusion spreader and Venomoth is now sure to last long enough to use it at least once with its new ability. A really effective annoyer.

Pokemon: Aurorus-EX
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Aurorus-EX_(XY_Promo_102)
Stats: 133 (+ 10)/77/82 (+ 10)/119 (+ 20)/102 (+ 10)/58 (Stats of the base Pokémon +50 BST on any stat(s). Stats can only go up.)
New Signature Ability: Frozen Charm: Upon entering the field, all allied pokemon are cured of freeze and paralysis. This pokemon also cannot be frozen, paralysed or flinched.
Type: Rock/Ice
New Signature Move: Crystal Breath
Type: Ice
Classification: Ice
Power: 160 BP
PP: 5
Effect/Priority: User must recharge next turn. Has a 20% chance of freezing opponent and a 20% chance of lowering their speed.
Role Identification: Aurorus now becomes a special wall breaker that also heals its team of some of the more annoying statuses.

Pokemon: Golisopod-GX
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Golisopod-GX_(Burning_Shadows_17)
Stats: 75/125/140/60/90/40 (unchanged)
Ability: Emergency Exit (unchanged)
Type: Bug/Water
New Signature Z-Move: Crossing Cut
Type: Bug
Classification: Physical
Power: 175 BP
Base Move: First Impression
Effect/Priority: Switches Golisipod out after damage.
Role Identification: Golisipod is about getting out of the battle when necessary and coming back in to do extensive damage. Crossing Cut builds on that and allows it to use its signature move more often.

Pokemon: Smeargle-Delta
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Smeargle_δ_(EX_Dragon_Frontiers_39)
Stats: 55/20/35/20/45/75
New Abilities: Frisk/Analytic/Flickering Tail (Contact may cause defending pokemon to fall asleep. Poison Touch clone)
New Type: Psychic/Poison
Added Moves: None (It’s Smeargle)
Role Identification: It’s Smeargle. But now it takes a quarter instead of double damage from Fighting attacks, absorbs Toic spikes, cannot be poisoned, never misses with Toxic, can choose to try sleep an opponent without spore, can cout items or can do more damage if it is a focus sash variant.

Ability: Crystal Type
Type: Normal, Psychic, Water, Electric
Added Moves: Extrasensory, Future Sight,, Hypnosus, Miracle Eye, Psybeam, Psyshock, Psywave, Zen Headbutt, Charge, Charge Beam, Spark, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt
Role Identification: Kingdra loses Swift Swim and Sniper, but it is not longer weak to fairies and gets STAB thunderbolt off a higher special attack and speed, in addition to STAB Psychic coverage.

Based on:https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Vaporeon_δ_(EX_Delta_Species_18)
Stats: (unchanged)
New Abilities: Storm Drain / Adaptability

New Type: Water / Steel

Pokemon: Flareon-Delta
Based on:https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Flareon_δ_(EX_Delta_Species_5)
Stats: (unchanged)
New Abilities: Flash Fire / Adaptability

New Type: Fire / Steel
Added Moves: Iron Head, Iron Defense, Flash Cannon, Slack Off, Bulk Up, Stealth Rock, Blaze Kick, Earthquake, Focus Blast

Sorry. My mistake.

Replace with:

Pokemon: Kingdra-Crystal
Based on: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Kingdra_(Aquapolis_148)
Stats: 75/65 (- 30)/85 (- 10)/115 (+ 20)/95/115 (+ 20) (can move around 40 stats but BST remains the same)

All RIP. I was gonna make one of those... I should have not said that...
