    Project USM RU Cores

My first core that I made for RU. (Balanced) + (+ ) Durant, being a powerful physical attacker, can threaten quite a few things in the metagame with its massive Hustle-boosted Attack stat - most notably outspeeding Guts Heracross and OHKOing with Iron Head, as well as being able to live a...

    SM UU Simple Questions Thread

Is Registeel outclassed by anything in UU as a physical/mixed wall that sets rocks? Also, provided I already have a special wall, should I run full physical defense, or should I go mixed?

Project SM RU Creative and Underrated Sets

i digress. surprise element is a major element of my playstyle, as are predictions. i'm not saying that surprise element is all you need to win, i'm just saying that i consider it a valid strategy, provided the loss is low and the reward is high. although i admit i was unaware gardevoir was a...

I understand your thinking, and I see where, in many cases, Gardevoir would be better as a revenge killer. However, using Florges is much better to catch your opponent by surprise, which is a prime purpose of the set. Florges is also bulkier and able to switch into things better. However, if you...

Fully offensive Choice Scarf Florges. I know it sounds bad, but it actually isn't, especially in a meta full of Heracross, Flygon, Kommo-o, Persian-Alola, and other Fairy-weak mons that tend to run offensive spreads. Base 112 Special Attack is quite decent, and scarved, it can outspeed the...

running close combat on a machamp never occurred to me. like i said, i never used machamp. if you want to run close combat, fine. i just find no guard abuse a lot more fun.

it hits swellow and dodrio, which last i heard were used a lot (although it couldn't live a hit from a dodrio), and also hits rotom-heat which can be a big problem. but running ice punch could be a better option, because gligar. wait, kommo-o is unbanned?

Machamp gets No Guard Stone Edge to defend against Flying-types, and also makes a better bulky attacker than Hera (also it has better defenses than Pangoro). But the closest thing to Machamp I've ever used was Eviolite Machoke back in ORAS NU.
