id recommend it because most of the site’s activity comes from discord in terms of community stuff, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, such as joining tier discords for meta discussion and team tours. i saw you’ve signed up for ndpl and if you got drafted you’d kinda need to be in the team server

as for gp, it helps connect you with gpers and gives you a space to ask questions. if you want to go further, it also gives you the opportunity to be tutored in a live chat format so you can learn better with interaction instead of just reading notes for feedback, which helps people improve a lot faster (from years of tutoring exp)
unfortunately i dont use discord.. not sure if i want to get it
