I don't know if this has been mentioned, most non direct moves cant get rid of a substitute. If you dragon tail a pokemon protected with sub will it be forced out?

I actually meant to say "can't". I don't think Jalorda is a loss cause. If hes used in the right team he could be quite an ass to deal with. Also if an opponent with intimadate that was switched out the same turn it switched in, your opponent will be hesitant to send it back out again.
