Mad Monty

Primal Missingno, an alt of Mad Monty, is a quirky fellow. He writes both poetry and prose. He reads all types of books, his favorite being The Death Gate Cycle, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It’s a seven book series that’s just obscure enough to not be ruined by movies. That said, Monty is a big fan of movies. Comedies, dramas, actions, and parodies are his favorites. Army of Darkness is his all time favorite movie, however.

Mad Monty is an American guy, living in Minnesota, who is about 6’1” (1.83m) and around 150 lbs (70kg), He wears glasses, because he is really blind. Monty has Bipolar Disorder, a mental illness that makes those afflicted prone to wild mood swings and fits of high anger and low despair. He is getting help for it, by which he means that it is not self diagnosed or self treated. He was born in 1986, which makes him older than many of you who will read this. He is a meteorologist and a certified Skywarn Spotter. Skywarn is a skill that allows people to identify bad weather, such as tornadoes and hail, for example, and tell police dispatchers exactly what they need to know, to warn more people.

Mad Monty is also a blood and organ donor, though he has only given away the former. His blood type is B+, which only 9% of the American population is known to have. The Red Cross loves it when he donates his blood, because of how rare it is.

Mad Monty is the founder and co-leader of a gaming community known as Armadillos Anonymous. It started out on the Xbox 360, but has since grown to fit in Playstation, Nintendo, and PC gamers as well.

Speaking of video games, Mad Monty loves Pokemon. The idea of a zillion critters, battling it out in Rock, Paper, Scissors combat is intriguing. Even though he has played since 1997, he is not a Gen 1’er. In fact, he wants more and more new Poke’s.

Regarding Pokemon Showdown, he is a room voice in Dungeons and Dragons and in Magic and Mayhem, a global voice and one of the Room Owners of The Library, a room dedicated to reading, writing and research. He invites you take a look in the room. All are welcome.
